Can I still play Co-op with my friend if I have a blood mod?

Hello! Just picked up the game and been playing with my friend but was very disappointed with the games blood. It's way too dark. Thankfully I found a mod on Nexusmods. Wondering if I install this mod can I still play with my friend, if he doesn't have the mod installed?

Heres the mod [https://www.nexusmods.com/ghostreconbreakpoint/mods/1153\](https://www.nexusmods.com/ghostreconbreakpoint/mods/1153)

Thank you!

Hot (?) take, Robert Patrick's performance in T2 is the best portrayal of a terminator, better than Schwarzenegger.

Just rewatched Terminator 2 for probably the hundredth time, and something really stood out to me was Robert Patrick’s performance as the T1000. Its absolutely flawless... he embodies the idea of a machine following its directive with ruthless precision. There’s like absoutely no emotion in anything he does, and it’s completely convincing that he’s not human, except of course where he’s pretending to be human to extract information.

Dont get me wrong, I love Arnie as a Terminator. He’s iconic and damn near perfect, and he did an amazing job. But he still carries a few human mannerisms, especially when he's fighting and shooting. Patrick on the other hand, moves and reacts with this like eerie, mechanical smoothness. His facial expressions, posture, and physicality feel genuinely artificial. He's just more believable as an inhuman cyborg just following it's directive. no other Terminator portrayal even comes close imo. Christina Loken’s little "orgasm” she had in T3 when she tasted John's blood was weird as hell for example.

DAE eat food out of the garbage?

Should start this by saying this isn't meant to be a joke or a shitpost. But does anyone else eat fresh looking food they see in a garbage receptacle? I don't mean digging through the trash to find food, but if you take a glance into the trash and see something appetizing do you go for it? Or is it just me? Like today at work I saw a package of Oreos in the trash and there was still 2 left in there so I ate them. I'll also go for food people left at their table. There's a brewery I frequent with a large outside eating area, and people constantly leave slices of pizza, wings, fries etc. I'll take it!

I started doing this when I was homeless (about a year). I would go to foodcourts or a nice downtown area with lots of nice food places. I couldn't believe the amount of great food people would throw out. I mean food in a to-go container or on a plate that's on top, or a bag. Now it's just become a habit to always take a peek into trash cans to see if there's something worth eating in there.

Anyone else? Or am I just a disgusting weirdo?

Life, Larry, and the Pursuit of Unhappiness Episode 1....

Was looking forward to this for a while. Personally thought the first episode was pretty weak. Didn't have a single laugh =/

"Welcome to Gamespy"

Can anyone else here vividly remember the "Welcome to Gamespy"?

Gamespy was my introduction to online PC gaming when I was about 11. Introduced to me the good and bad of online gaming. Age of Empires 2 games that lasted for hours, and people telling me they just banged my mom. Good times.

BJJ competitors, what does competing actually feel like?

Hey everyone, white belt here. I've been interested in competing and was wondering if anyone could provide some insight on what it's like?

Does it feel like a real fight? Is it more nerve‑racking than rolling in the gym? Are competitors moreso out for blood, or is the mindset more controlled/technical? Is there much of a diference in the intensity for gi vs nogi?

I’m curious what the mental and physical intensity is really like, and would love to hear some personal experiences!

Thank you

People constantly swapping the positions of the dollar sign and percentage sign...

This has been mildly infuriating to me for some time now.

Anyone else notice that people are constantly putting the dollar/percentage signs in the wrong place? I feel like I've started noticing it more and more the past few years...

"%50"

"100$"

I realize the dollar sign is placed after the number in some countries, but I'm in US and see it constantly at my job.

IT BOTHERS ME.

Can an idiot enjoy this game?

Hello!

I've been looking for a new game and a new change of pace from the usual action games/RTS which I'm accustomed to. I just finished the Subnautica 2 early access and really enjoyed the survival, building, and crafting mechanics. Satisfactory showed up on the similar games and it piqued my interest. After reading about the game it really seemed interesting and could be a relaxing, stress free yet rewarding experience.

Then I watched a few gameplay videos and wow....the game seems insanely complex and complicated. To the point where I don't even know if I'd enjoy it given how complicated it seems. I'm just looking for a chill game I can play after work for a few hours, and not have to use too much brain capacity lol. I'm usually already mentally burnt out after work. Just looking for a pretty casual experience that won't be too confusing...

So are there any other idiots on here that enjoy the game? If I get it, am I going to have to be constantly Googling things about the game and what to do? Or does it guide you/hold your hand pretty well?

Appreciate any response, thanks! :)

(34m) Is living with my parents for the past 5 years a huge turnoff/redflag to women?

Hello!

So for a bit of backstory, I am a 34 year old man. I'm currently 6 years clean from hard drugs... It's a long story but I basically lost a great job and a great girlfriend who I was living with and then was unable to afford rent, thus having no choice but to move back with my parents.

This was about 5 years ago. I've been working a new steady, decent job but still not making enough money to live comfortably on my own, especially without a partner to split the rent. I guess I could find a place but then I'd be basically working paycheck to paycheck (I'm in Los Angeles and average rent is about $2k for a one bedroom or studio) I make about $2600 a month. I'm paying my parents $600 to rent out my old room.

So with that, my question is, how important is to women that I have my own place? Is it a complete turn off that would dissuade them from having any interest in me? Especially considering my age. I'd like to think I'm a pretty decent looking dude, I'm in good shape with a good sense of humor/personality. But given my age and my living situation is kind of shatters my confidence with women when the subject comes up. I have a hard time even approaching women given my living situation... I sense that it's quite a turn off. but maybe I'm just way overthinking it?

It does make me feel like a loser. I am getting to the point where I'm getting quite lonely and would love to have a partner. But it just kills my confidence knowing how pathetic it may seem that I've been living with my parents for about 5 years now...

Appreciate any opinions and insight, thank you!

DAE guys go pee in their backyard from time to time, just because it feels good?

My bathroom is significantly closer and more convenient to go take a piss. But for some reason I enjoy going outside to pee sometimes. Something about it just feels right. I've done this since I was a kid lol

Am I the only one?

Just a post glazing cycling and how it's been improving my life

Hello friends, I just felt the need to make this post for anyone who is considering getting a bike or on the fence about it.

Really not trying to sound overdramatic, but it's the truth. This last Christmas marked my 6th year from being clean from opiates and crystal meth. Now, before you start congratulating me...these past 6 years have still been incredibly tough. Despite being clean from hard drugs I basically found a new vice in hard alcohol. Aside from not being financially and mentally strangled by dope, I was still more or less completely miserable. I basically went to work, got home and got drunk as hell and passed out, almost every day. I would ignore my friends who would reach out to me and neglected almost every relationship I had. Year after year I just went through the motions. Although I was doing great at work, being promoted quite a few times, I felt my life had no meaning. I was gaining weight rapidly, my health was detoriating, I looked like shit and would wake up every morning feeling completely depressed and miserable.. and aside from a one night stand once every few months, I had nothing happening in the romantic relationship department.

Around Jaunuary I decided to give myself a late Christmas present and bought a State road bike for about $600.

I can't tell you how much this little decision changed my life. I try to go for a ride almost every other day and the results have just been amazing. My mental health has improved so much, as well as my appearance. My face cleared up, I'm way less depressed and I've lost at least 15 pounds, particlary in my gut. I was looking like Randy from Trailer Park Boys for quite a while and now no longer look pregnant. I no longer have the desire to drown my sorrows in booze after work, I just go for a long ass ride and have a smile on my face the whole time. I haven't stopped drinking completely but I have cut down a signifigant amount, and I credit that to cycling. I find I have more confidence and less self pity now. I feel like I can think more clearly and solve issues easier at work....And a very improved libido...that's nice too!

I can't believe how much getting a bike and riding frequently has improved my quality of life. If there's anyone out there maybe in a similiar situation I'm in...I highly recommend getting a bike and start riding! I just wish I made the decision sooner.

Any good Matrix literature out there?

Hey! Was wondering if anyone here could recommend any good books based on the Matrix? If there are any. Novels would be preferred but if there are any comics good enough I'd also be interested.

Thanks!

I commented earlier suggesting that each fighters flow state should have different perks...turns out that's already the case lol. Never bothered to actually check. This actually does make the flow shit more interesting

u/_walletsizedwildfire — 2 months ago

So obviously the flow state feature is one of the hottest points of disussion from the beta so far. Most people seem to hate it, but some like it.

Personally I think it could make for an interesting mechanic, but as it is right now it's pretty stupid and makes no sense. First of all the insane visuals need to be changed, that shit just looks ridiculous. Secondly I don't think it should be something you can get then just activate it whenever you want. If they want to add a flow mechanic it should be something that activates automatically, like maybe after slipping a number of strikes or landing strikes without getting hit.

What do the people think?
