I wanna start writing songs but I struggle to be creative and make the words sound interesting or poetic. For example in the song lonely avenue it goes “now my room has got two windows, but the sunshine never comes through” which is a clever way to convey depression and loneliness. If I were to try to convey those feelings the best thing I could write would be something like “since you’ve been gone the nights have felt so long” which doesn’t really sound as poetic or clever. How do songwriters think that way?

I’m not big on modern artists so I might be missing something but I try to keep up. Where are all the rappers? As far as I know recently the game has been pretty quiet and no one’s released anything worthwhile recently. No songs trending, no album being anticipated, nothing. Now that I think about it it’s not just rap, I don’t see any artists in general popping out and generating any buzz

I suspect that people are in my message requests but twitter wont show them to me because sometimes I get that little blue dot in the message requests section but when I go in it’s empty. I tested this suspicion by messaging myself on an alt account and seeing if it would appear, and it didn’t. How do I fix this? Pretty sure I’ve missed a lot of people’s messages because of this. Also has anyone run into the same issue?

I also don’t like how the sides are straight but top is curly. I’m thinking of trimming the sides but I regret it every time because it sets me back and I wanna keep my hair long. Is it fine to leave the sides and top uneven? What should I do?

I go to this weekly gathering which includes two guys that always pick on me and say mean things but I always freeze up and my mind goes blank and I can’t defend myself so it makes them just do it more. For some reason I get so nervous and can’t think because I’m scared of having a bad comeback and embarrassing myself or stuttering and I also feel pressure because there are a lot of people staring at me waiting for a comeback which makes me more nervous to respond. Every week I tell myself this time it’ll be different and I’ll defend myself but it’s always the same result…

I wanna start trying therapy but id much a rather a western therapist instead of an Arab one so i can talk to them about my not so Arab issues. Is there a therapist like that in Kuwait? If not could i find like an online therapist or something that comes from abroad?

I’m a Kuwaiti student who’s looking to work this summer but I don’t know where to start. I want something temporary like 2 weeks or a month because I have uni. Like an event or a booth in a mall or something like that. Where do I look?

There’s this girl I’ve known for nearly 3 years and we met online. Last week we finally got to meet each other when I flew to her city and spent the weekend with her in a hotel together. She was just amazing. Beautiful, fun, funny, everything. She was perfect and I think I fell for her. I always knew she was beautiful, but seeing her in person just blew me away. She was the most beautiful girl I’ve ever been with. I mean absolutely gorgeous, like a model. And while she was so perfect, I can’t help but think about what I could’ve done better, I didn’t talk as much as I could’ve, she said I was too quiet which bothered her, she also said she wished I planned some more things, but regardless she said she had a lovely time and she was happy she finally got to see me and even said she missed being with me. Even though she said all that nice stuff, I can only focus on the negative stuff she said, in addition to her being taller than me, and also me being bad at sex because she took my virginity

Had a flight booked for Dubai may 22nd it got canceled today. Anyone know the reason? Emirates said they can’t help and won’t reschedule my flight. Are all airlines having issues or just emirates? What should I do?

When it finally ended (or seemed to end) and the airlines opened again I was finally ready to book, and just when I was about to do it, uae started getting hit again, I’m honestly thinking of just going for it because I’ve been planning this trip for months and I’m tired of the delays. I’m planning on leaving Kuwait on the 22nd. Do you guys think things would be safe by then? Also I wanna book quickly before the prices get expensive again
