Watching AIB for the first time and I can't stop crying

Guys I started watching AIB yesterday because one of my few really good friends recommended it once and we are not friends anymore.

Anyways, I was at episode 3 of the season 1, the game of 7 hearts and I am literally crying like a baby since the episode has concluded.

Like omg I related to Chota and even arisu a lot and I really liked Karube ...

I have always wished to have friendship like that, and seeing what happened, made me feel like I was living it.

The way karube blows his cigarette for the last time before his neck explodes was soo iconic.

And then arisu breaking down, felt soo personal.

I am not ready to continue with it 😭😭😭😭

Omggg didn't expect it to go this harsh, I might need therapy atp.

Also the way karube tells arisu in the ep 1 that if there has to be a zombie apocalypse or something, he( arisu ) will survive for sure amongst the 3 of them. And the way it comes out true is soo painful.

Sorry for my rant gng

To the people who think Misogyny and Misandry in Indian society are at equal level

Edit 2 : The picture is not really relevant.

And Cases Atul Subhash and Muskan's one were saddening but not a result of misandry

In fact in Muskan's case, her boyfriend was equally involved in the whole shit.

Edit : for the restarted people who are calling me restarted, I am against both misandry and misogyny !! The whole point of my post is about the effect of both of them and how they differ a lottttt in OUR society especially

Why can't we do this ?

Like how a nationwide protest is going on for different issues rn, we all should come forward and do a protest, nation wide protest, to legalize d3@th punishment for rapists.

Are you all up for this ???

Cheerleading in IPL is just objectifying women to please the perverted audience

I have always wondered why cheerleaders exist in IPL, prolly the only major cricket league where cheerleaders are hired for the appeasement of the audience and not for what cheerleading actually is, in the US.

I tried to read about it to find out, cheerleading in the US is like an actual sport and being in an elite cheerleaders team secures you Ivy league colleges, and the job of the cheerleaders are actually to boost the morale of the team and bridge the gap between the team and the supporters.

Although in India, it's completely opposite.

You won't see a day pass, without those poor ladies getting harassed by the audience, only to earn bread.

It got soo worse that Lucknow had to build a cage around the cheerleading platform.

Classic Indian behaviour. If you can't ask your son to control his pants, ask your daughter to stay locked behind a 4 walled cage called home.

Cricket culture in India is anyway, very disgusting.

You will see playboy cricketers and their misogynist fans everywhere who don't hesitate a bit before s*ut shaming any women related to any cricketer, especially the ex wives and ex girlfriends.

These were not enough that BCCI adds cheerleadering to it, to make it worse.

It's time to boycott cricket and BCCI.

How do women (and men) deal with Patriarchy in an Indian household ?

Since there are a lot of triggering cases all over the internet and it has become soo traumatising atp so I thought why not just for the sake of our mental sanity, discuss something less triggering but as important at the same time.

I just want every single of you, who come across this post, to share their real life experiences of dealing with Patriarchy in their households and the surroundings and how did they make it work ?

The purpose of this post is only and only for educating people of ways and methods they can use to deal with situations which are often caused by Patriarchy, directly or indirectly.

All the devils are really here and the hell is really empty.

The kid in the video is called Gopal Sharma, a 14yo boy from Jewar, who gets kidnapped.

Later they found his body in mutilated condition on 23rd may.

The body had his eyes plu¢ked,

His private parts were cut,

They poured acid on his face,

Nailed his hands,

And Raped him.

A case of Rape, murd*r and brutality against a 14 yo.

We are really living in hell and I have no hope left.

How can we deal with cat callings and stuff while teaching the person a lesson at the same time ?

Two days ago, it was 9PM and I 17M was out with my 12F cousin to get her icecreams.
I was too tired so decided to use this short cut, and tbh that area feels a bit desolated at night but I didn't realise.
While on our way, a dude, not looking very sane, passes by my cousin and says something or at least my cousin felt like that but since I couldn't hear, I couldn't confront that dude ( he looked at least 25yo ).
For a moment I was completely frozen ( my cousin is more daring than me as she yelled back as " kya bola ?????? " )
All I could do was hold her hands and get our asses out of that place as soon as possible.
Since then I have been feeling very guilty that I didn't confront that dude but again this was a deserted reason, if something happened to me, that dude could easily over power my cousin so I decided to get out first.

But again I really don't have any idea on how to deal with such situations, as I have always been a single child and lived my life carelessly, so this was my first time facing such thing.

I would really appreciate if you could share your experience on how to deal with situations like this as I am pretty young and lack experience.
Thank you

I got told that because I am a man, I " couldn't call myself a feminist".

So I am a feminist guy, or at least trying to be one, and lately I have been questioning what a feminist man really is supposed to be in feminist spaces.

A lot of people already side-eye men in feminism, assuming we are only here for attention or with some ulterior motive. And honestly, I understand the trust issues. I would never ask women to blindly trust men because many really have caused harm.

But sometimes the distrust starts pushing away people who are genuinely trying to learn and be part of the change.

I have faced this myself many times now.

For example, once I disagreed with someone on religion and said:

“in my opinion, religions have never favoured women in any aspect, that’s why I prefer to be non religious, and I might go back to having faith in God, but I would never follow any religion”

Instead of a discussion, I got replies like:

“I won’t take opinions from a man”

“You are mansplaining”

“You shouldn’t even be here”

Another time, under a post about radical feminism, I agreed that feminism right now should focus more on uplifting women first. I only added that other oppressed genders also deserve support in that struggle.

But again, I got told:

“You are a man, you don’t get to say what feminism should be”

“At max you can be an ally”

And honestly, that hurt.

I am just a 17 yo kid trying to unlearn things, educate myself, and stop harmful cycles from continuing. I am not trying to lead feminism or speak over women. I genuinely want to understand where men like me fit into this movement.

Should men who are trying to learn be included and educated, or kept at a distance no matter what?

And do you think feminism becomes stronger by helping willing men grow into better people, or should men simply remain outsiders to it?

I genuinely want to hear different opinions, respectfully.

Day 4 ( 8 may )

Still not as good as required but a huge progress from yesterday cause I could sit for two long sessions which were missing for months.

I had finished Screw Gauge and Vernier caliper yesterday so I wrapped it up today by doing both mains and advanced questions.

Then I started Quadratic eqn, did a few problems, made short notes and revised class problems.

Will try to do better tomorrow.

Signing off for now

The protectors are the assaulters : 10 grader in Champawat Uttarakhand got Gang Raped.

The politicians who are supposed to represent our problems, protect us and ensure our safety are the ones who are posing a threat to our security.

That little girl, literally 15 years old was attending a marriage, who knew the marriage would turn into a life time trauma and the culprits won't even pay for it because of their links.

So I did some physics, completed the Screw gauge and vernier caliper and solved some mains and advanced problems.

I have still not caught the pace but today I will be starting the core topics.
