🌊mod post!🌊

hey everyone, siren here with some exciting ideas for us mermays and mermaids!

first of all, thank you for visiting the sub. whether youre a (frequent) lurker or contributer, i appreciate each and every single one of you! i had a very specific idea with this sub to fill a gap of oceanic whimsy with a little bit of a Y2K touch & i hope we can continue to grow! please feel free to share things here to your hearts content.

i could really use some general feedback to the sub! tell me what you think, what you like, what you miss, etc.

ive also been toying with some fun inspiring theme days for the sub to implement in the near future.

so far the ideas i have are:

sea appreciation sunday - general appreciation to our ocean. this could vary from just a pretty video of the waves to something like a fun fact about the sea itself or its inhabitans.

sirencore saturday - the opposite equivalent of mermaidcore, a day for siren goth content.

WIP wednesday - what are you currently working on? a place for creators to share art.

some of these themes might work better when the sub grows some more, such as the WIP wednesday one.
