First time running. I have some ideas but what would you do with what my players did in the village of Barovia…

My players learned about Doru under the church and one of my players knew a vampire spawn whose master had died (in her backstory) so thinks of them as basically human with a dietary restriction and sunlight sensitivity. So she convinced her party to come together and fill a water skin with blood (roughly half a gallon based on the weight in game, everyone who contributed got a point of exhaustion) and broke the lock throwing it to him. They then put Dorus old bed over the hatch to keep it shut and want to get an animal to throw down to him later.

I ruled it as his screaming has quieted for the time being (the night) but am wondering where to take it as the party went to bed after.

My thoughts are:

Donovich tries to see him, gets eaten and Doru gets away. I don’t love this cause they’re planning to do the burgomaster burial in the morning

Doru escapes and spares his dad. Could become a later encounter?

He’s kept in the basement and they have to explain to an insane grieving man to keep him locked up and throw a pig down there now and then.

What would you do?

Trying to save Tabitha’s diet (pre game speculation art)

I can see Wayne trying, with how he was described by Isaac’s and Breaking Point tabby.

Rosalina if…

Alexis and Becca get trapped in the mine and you leave the ghost

I did this in a run trying to get the minimal amount of ghost hunters I could and followed it through cause I had mystical and was romancing Kaneeka.

After the ghost hunt she just stares at you with hate in her eyes and in chapter 5 she tells you with rage that you ruined her life.

This was a pretty fked up run I did but that was what made me feel the worst. Never got a character to hate me so much (though I haven’t done a full antagonizing Tabatha run)

What do they want with my downspout? The third attempt to make off with it

I truly just want to understand what they plan to use it for 😅

Disappointed in this translation/adaptation

I miss the bluntness and vulgarity of the manga. Also he looks pissed in the anime while in the manga he’s disregarding the news as dumb. Just a minor change I wasn’t a fan of. Still love that we get an anime though.

I wanna talk about it (manga only)

Hole.

It’s such a cool concept. From what I understand after several rereads it’s a pile of corpses infused with magic that bore a sinkhole and gained sentience. That sentience only existed off the pain, sorrow and hate of the victims so it only cared about killing sorcerers.

It raised the victims regularly, made rain that hurt them, that was what it knew to do for so long until it got a vessel.

Ai gave it a vessel and then a way into their world where it started to dissect sorcery. It always continued its goal and kept the weak sorcerers close because they were useful. I still am curious about some interactions, mainly when it gave Ton a burger, why act mildly selflessly and what did it do to keep their loyalty?

I think it was already godlike but got that status through the metamorphosis in the later chapters.

I love this manga for its themes of love and hate. Everyone is motivated by love EXCEPT the Hole imo which is justified but unnecessary. A lot of conflict is driven by hate, Kaiman hates the sorcerers for what they might have done to him. Fujita hates Kaiman for killing Matsumura, En hates the boss for killing his family. But most of that comes from love, in fact the only character with no love is Hole. That why it’s the antagonist

Thanks for reading this is just my interpretation of the manga, I never got to talk about it with anyone but I’d love to hear your thoughts.

I live with three others and want to cut how much they order out. What’s cost effective but appealing?

I live with 3 roommates, we’re all close and will cook for each other but split bills. Roommates A and B will eat whatever but C is a bit picky. I will admit not to an extreme but enough to say no to some recipes (stew, fish and veg. Basically any just protein and veg). I currently am unemployed and have a lot of free time so as long as I’m here I might as well help my roomies and cook cause I noticed they have a tendency to order takeout which isn’t good for wallet or arteries.

It’s a struggle though cause I’m the only one motivated to do this so I go out and buy for a good group dinner and get paid back weeks later. This leads my rent to be late and I feel terrible just trying to save my roommates from eating Jack in the box every meal.

I LIKE having a shared kitchen, I LIKE cooking, but I hate that it’s on my finances UNTIL they feel like they can pay for it. My roommates are working rn, I’m free, I WANT to feed them but I can’t do it on my own. Genuinely if finances allowed I’d save them from DoorDash full time. But I don’t have that money.

What can I do

I love Q Hayashida to death but I do have one thing I would change…

Aikawa would NOT have 0% fat. Those abs should be tucked away nicely in a cozy layer with the way he eats. Dude should be built like a weightlifter or XL mma fighter.
