Where in the city would you LEAST want to live? And why?

For you, what is the least desirable place in the city to live? Maybe somewhere so bad that if it was your only option you’d consider leaving altogether.

Best lemon bars in the city? The tangier the better! 🍋

BF’s bday is coming up and he loves lemon bars. Where can I find the best lemon bars in the city? He really likes tangy, citrusy lemon bars as opposed to more mellow/heavily sweetened. Thank you in advance 🙏🍋💛

Has anyone seen zero sugar Dr. Pepper creamy coconut around recently?! 🙏🥥

Obsessed with this stuff…. Tried it in late April then left town for a couple months and now haven’t seen it anywhere… I even go in gas stations randomly just to check but no luck.

Has anyone seen it recently?! Only looking for the zero sugar version. Thanks in advance for any leads!!

If you were moving out of Ann Arbor, what would you make sure to do/see/eat before leaving?

It can be your favorite park walk, a comforting activity, or a meal you kept coming back to. I’d love to hear what would be on your “must do” list if you were leaving Ann Arbor.

Just got to Taipei yesterday. Tried to go to 黑麻糬😋(每日限量..售完打烊)but they were closed so went to Bulao instead. Ohhhh my the sesame, red bean, mung bean and taro mochi was all soooo good. Would love any and all recommendations for mochi to try in Taipei.

I’m staying near Beimen MRT so bonus points if it’s nearby but I’m down to travel for it. Thank you in advance!!!!

Spent 15 hours in Seattle for a layover for my first trip to the city ever. Ate A LOT. Got some great recommendations here (THANK YOU :) ) so I thought I’d post a recap:

-Mee Sum Pastry: amazing green tea mochi ball & curry bun, highly recommend
-Hellenika: I looove yogurt so this was a great stop. Ube coconut and mango tajin did not disappoint. long line!
-Rachel’s Ginger Beer: good, but overpriced. Def didn’t need to pay $11 for a bev with soft serve ice cream (although it was good soft serve…!)
-Ivar’s: delicious clam chowder, mid fries, absolutely worth it for the water view and classic experience. nice way to step away from the chaos of the market.
-Le Panier: amazing macarons, great chocolate + almond croissant, great raspberry brioche. loved it all.
-Piroshky Piroshky: tried the beef & cheese, well seasoned and more filling than expected!
-Dick’s drive-in: PERFECT dinner before our 2 month long Asia trip. Burg and fries were great, strawberry milkshake paired perfectly, prices were cheap. Saw some kids eating their prom dinner there which was fun.

Bummed to have missed a Caribbean roast sandwich but trust that we’ll be back to try Un Bien!

Edit to add: also picked up some hazelnut chocolate cherries from chukar cherries for the flight. they were gone by the time we landed 🤭 passed on beechers bc mac and cheese sounded too heavy and we wanted to try a bunch of different food but that’s another thing I’ll be back to try!

Also stopped by the Seattle public library (central library) part way through the day to rest our legs - beautiful building and perfect spot to take a quick nap 😴

I have a layover in Seattle for 15 hours this upcoming Saturday before heading on a 2 month long trip to Asia. First time ever visiting the city and very excited to have some time to check it out!

Would love any and all must try food recs, but only non-Asian spots as we will have our fill of those delicious cuisines straight from the source. Also would love any other recommendations for things we could do/see/check out. Thank you in advance :)

no meds, no surgeries, no special diet (but definitely a lot more mindful of eating for both fuel and enjoyment, not just instantaneous pleasure and stress/boredom relief — but I still love food). most important thing has been consistency & daily movement (12.5 incline walking on treadmill @ 3.2 mph for 60 min + arm & ab exercises)

I used to look at other people’s progress pictures with both hope for myself but also doubt that I could ever achieve my goals… trust me, if I can do it you can too!

I can’t stop eating them every day for post-workout meal!!! I’m obsessed….

Recipe: mix 1/3 cup oats, 1 scoop vanilla protein powder, 1 tbsp peanut butter powder, some smooshed banana, lil bit of maple yogurt, lil bit of vanilla protein drank and then the rest of the banana diced on top w shredded unsweetened coconut and pumpkin pie spice. I make at like 8pm, put in da fridge and eat the next day around 12pm-1pm.

It’s sooo tasty and comforting. I have it as my first meal of the day and it keeps me full until the evening.
