Someone flushed my catheter and now we're down to one toilet for 10 families.. what should I do?? Please help, Its always full. (MO)

I literally can't even sit down on the toilet without someone knocking. A few of us use buckets and I really don't want to resort to that again. I have nowhere else to go and I cant even cook without being bullied out. They claim they're "helping me not burn dinner" and then take most of it

My social security got cut and I owe 300 for rent. What should I do? I'm terrified of my landlord (Windsor MO)

This is supposed to get fixed eventually but that was last months ordeal. I'll pay it off but I'm so scared of getting kicked out. I was homeless for 6 years before here, there's nowhere else I can live and I know I have to move eventually

I need help.. I'm a young woman who's been on opiates for years now they're cutting me off and I can't do it, I'm going to end up very not ok

My doctor cut my pain meds with no taper and I'm withdrawing alone — need advice, please be gentle

I'm a woman in my late 20s dealing with Fowler's disease (I need a catheter to pee) and chronic pain. My doctor cut my opiate prescription without warning or a taper plan, and I don't know why. Now I'm in full withdrawal and I don't know how to get through this.

My situation:

I live in a shared apartment building (9 people, one working toilet) that my dad placed me in because it's all I can afford. I'm essentially alone here — the one person I thought was a friend is on meth and just used my food to cook dinner for his dealer without even telling me. I have no insurance right now. I have no ride to the hospital tonight but I'm planning to go to Barnes Jewish ER tomorrow. I have Subutex on hand but I'm scared to take it because I'll pee dirty and I don't want to lose my chance at getting my pain meds back. I'd rather not exist than keep suffering like this but I'm NOT going to a psych ward — I need medical help, not to have my phone and autonomy taken away. I'm withdrawing, sweating, can barely function, and I'm trying to hold it together.

What I need advice on:

  1. Has anyone gone to the ER for withdrawal and gotten actual help without being sent to psych? What did you say?

  2. Will taking Subutex tonight ruin my chances with a new pain management doctor? Or do they understand?

  3. How do I get reconnected to pain management after being cut off? My doctor just dropped me with no explanation.

  4. Has anyone dealt with Barnes Jewish specifically? Any good doctors there for pain management who actually listen to young women?

  5. How do I get a free ride to the ER with no insurance? I'm in the St. Louis area.

  6. For anyone with chronic pain who's been cut off — how did you survive the withdrawal period?

I know some people are going to say "just stop" or judge me. Please don't. I'm in legitimate pain from a real disease, I was on these meds for a reason, and my doctor abandoned me. I'm not looking for a high, I'm looking for my life back.

Any advice is appreciated. I'm just trying to make it to tomorrow.

Why is my 6 year old acting defiant towards me out of nowhere? She needs to learn about it

Recently, I placed a stack of panty liners in a bathroom cubby next to a sentimental item — a hand-painted figurine from my mom’s old gift shop. I realize now that leaving both in a shared space may not have been the best idea.

There’s a 6-year-old girl who lives here. She took all of the pads, opened them, stuck them around the sink, and later stuffed them away. When I came back, my figurine had also been thrown into the trash and buried underneath things. The pads were completely wasted, and the figurine could have been permanently damaged. I tried bringing it up to her parents, but they didn’t seem very responsive. The mom seemed overwhelmed, and the dad didn’t react much.

- I don’t understand if this is normal behavior for a 6-year-old or something more, I don’t know how to interact with her moving forwardWe used to have a kind of “big sis / little sis” dynamic, and I’d like to get back to a place where she respects me and others, but I also know she’s just a child and not mine to parent.

I’ve studied some psychology, so part of me wonders if this is attention-seeking, poor boundaries, or something going on at home — but I don’t want to overanalyze or overstep

- Is this kind of behavior normal for a 6-year-old in a shared environment? Or is the best approach to completely disengage and just protect my belongings better?

Title: 6-year-old in shared housing destroyed my belongings — trying to understand her behavior and how to handle it and help her.

Hi, I’m looking for some perspective because I feel hurt and confused about a situation with a young child where I live.

I live in a kind of micro-apartment setup that used to be a doctor’s office. It’s still being worked on, and multiple tenants share spaces like the bathroom and kitchen. I’m on disability and pay most of it ($600) to live here, so I try to make the space feel like home in small ways.

Earlier that day, I had also seen her dumping drinking water on her friend’s head after being asked to stop. When I tried to gently explain that the pads weren’t toys, she ignored me and continued spraying me with a water gun. Later is when the bathroom incident happened.

I tried bringing it up to her parents, but they didn’t seem very responsive. The mom seemed overwhelmed, and the dad didn’t react much.

I’m struggling because:

- I feel hurt that my belongings were disrespected and thrown away

- I don’t understand if this is normal behavior for a 6-year-old or something more

- I don’t know how to interact with her moving forward

We used to have a kind of “big sis / little sis” dynamic, and I’d like to get back to a place where she respects me and others, but I also know she’s just a child and not mine to parent.

I’ve studied some psychology, so part of me wonders if this is attention-seeking, poor boundaries, or something going on at home — but I don’t want to overanalyze or overstep.

My questions:

- Is this kind of behavior normal for a 6-year-old in a shared environment?

- How should I respond in the moment when she ignores boundaries?

- Is there any appropriate way for me (as just another tenant) to encourage respectful behavior?

- Or is the best approach to completely disengage and just protect my belongings better?

I’d really appreciate any insight, especially from parents or people familiar with child behavior.

Thanks for reading.

Can anyone solve what I'm doing wrong? I really think I'm dying and suffering alone doing this equation.

Adderall was the first thing I ever got prescribed, I had to call the pharmacy bc I didn't even know what a gel cap was and thought it was plastic, that's how naive I am. My friends asked if I was high on it and I said well then all drugs are probably ok then, if this is what "high" means. Now it's been less than 10 years since I started on and off but I now I'm a downer girl, exactly like juice wrlds story from the breakfast club interview. I refuse to take Adderall unless I have a ton of benzos or opiates, but they don't even work anymore. I'm just scared bc I basically live alone in the hight of the "flooring not roaring 20s drug epidemic. I don't feel strong and confident enough to even get out of bed, but taking one amblifies the stress and negative feelings, but this is the worst love/hate thing I've ever delt with. I also have a personal pharmacy in my room, I've got everything from Xanax to ghb and opiates prescribed but I don't know how to be a human anymore. I can't do a thing until I have my regimen set up for the day. Seriously and the eating thing is a major problem too. But I can't just lay in bed forever, but I also have literally no one who cares about me. I'm only 27 and I'm trying to create a concrete trifecta or something, I'm just trying to figure out life, survive and save others one day, but I don't know what I'm doing anymore. So I've got a key to a candy store basically. Does anyone have a single idea?? When do y'all take Adderall and how do you fight the anger, anxiety and comedown??

Calling serious healing witches! I need help healing a school mate I just remet up with, (were 28year olds) and he has serious cancer and I have endometriosis. But he starts treatment next week and I want to make sure he's going to be ok. Anything I can do?

He's coming back over because we met in an awkward sort of way. He was selling something to my landlord and I was standing in the kitchen cleaning when one of the two men says, do you remember me? And I didn't realize it at first but it was my friend from preschool to graduation and he told he he had lung cancer. We exchanged numbers and I wished him the best and he said he might come back over soon to catch up. He starts his treatment next week and has two children. Meanwhile, I have narcolepsy, endometriosis, gastroparesis, osteopenia and a lot more but that's not something you can really rattle off in a conversation. But those are the reasons why I'll always probably never have kids, never sleep well, all I can say is it feels like Weltschmerz meaning world pain. If he comes back or even at all, is there anything I can do to help improve his situation and mine?

How do I create my first app? I have a good idea but no coding knowledge or funding

I want to create an app that lets you do a split screen where you can do AI script writing for wrapping or hire a Ghost Rider or right your own wraps on the right half of the screen and then on the left half you find a beat like for free or you can pay it to find a beat maker or you can join the app ass someone who makes me to collaborate with someone. Basically the whole point of this app is for rappers to write songs and practice and collaborate with other musicians in the field so basically SoundCloud but a lot easier and simpler for people just starting up. Because when you have chat gbtr Manus or some AI thing or are you a song or if you go to your notepad on your phone and write a song you're going to have to still find to be and then have another device to play that beat while you record and then another device to edit. This app would combine all of those into one so you could become your own producer pretty much. Would this be possible?

My digital life is being ruined because my Ex stole my Gmail account and every other account associated. How can I call Google and talk to someone or get this figured out so I can get back in my email?

He's a scammer and kept me locked in a shed with him for 2 years. He stole my SSI, an $8000 check and I'm completely locked out of getting a new chime account
