Something MUST be done about the keyboards chipping.

Whereas I am a no1 fan, this is absolutely ridiculous and must be dealt with. It cannot be that hard to make proper keys. u/clickstech u/crackberrykevin u/returningretro

I am very, very excited for my CC but am also unbelievably stressed over the key issue, and am afraid that I will have to return a 400 dollar phone over and over again due to the chipping. It's silly to me that nothing has been done about it ever, seeing as it must cost a lot in return costs, producing 2x devices and all that for clicks. Not only that but it will also ruin the CC's reputation. I wish that if it's the same key manufacturing method, that it would be changed, and if not, a clarification would be put out. I've seen a lot of people worry about this now.

It is not that hard to make double-shot or laser printed keys. No one wants to be stuck in a return loop of any keyboard, LET ALONE, a phone.

This is a bit ranty, but thanks so much for reading. Hopefully we get an acknowledgement.

Clicks - can something be done about the keys?

My biggest worry is that the keys will start flaking like on the PK and other clicks products. I hope the keys are actually solid black. I also do know that u/jeffgadway and several other clicks staff members are here, so thought I would post this in the hopes one sees and maybe even confirms what is being done to make them more durable... double injection molding is probably the best idea here.

LP2 discontinued in favour of LPFlip?

Anyone else noticed this? Not moaning about it as tbf the LPFlip is a worthy replacement, but kinda surprised me as it's not 'properly' out yet, especially seeing as JB said just a year ago that the 2 is not going anywhere. I'm basing this off of the website having the LP2 in perpetual out of stock status, and saying that they have 2 phones (on the home page) and only listing the 2 and flip.

How to cope with GD without socially transitioning.

The easiest way to state my situation is HRT repper. I'm happier like this, it lets me live a relatively normal life without too much agony and helps with my main issues without putting me in the position of an odd, socially disruptive manlet who needs to change all his documents and go stealth and all that.

I want to cure my GD without socially transitioning, is that possible? I want an ordinary partner, an ordinary life as a normal woman since one as a man isn't possible. No do not tell me to get off HRT I don't want to mentally torture myself at no gain. I only want help with the gender dysphoria not the sex dysphoria. Thanks.

Does anyone see things super clear on HRT

it's crazy... before I was only able to perceive little snippets of a room or landscape at a time and the rest was blurry so i kinda had to scan a whole room or landscape bit by bit to see and understand it as one, like really dissociated, and my memories were all weird, but now it's all so clear and beautiful and my new memories are just as clear and nice as the ones from my childhood. i feel like one person again. am i delusional or does this happen to others too

Unable to buy needles, where can I get free needles online? USA.

I'm posting this for a friend who can't afford to buy needles, and at the moment I can't buy any for her either. Where can you get free needles and syringes in the US? Not drug exchanges or in person places, she may struggle to get there due to personal reasons. Tysm!

The mentality on here is getting rather weird, and it's making me concerned.

I've been involved in the dumbphone community since about 2021, both IRL and online, and have seen this community slowly grow. Bit upset seeing comments on some threads though.

Calling people 'larpers' for... reading books!

Using awful brainrot slang.

Asking how to install Instagram, Tiktok, etc on a dumbphone.

Making fun of people for having older phones or more dumb ones.

Making fun of people for being in opposition to smartphones in general and not only for themself.

I like to say that this community is not only a community, but also a movement.

A movement against the awful companies that clamour for our money and attention. A movement against the toxic, miserable society they've created.

The herd mentality of bullying and mocking those who go against societal norms is exactly what algorithmic social media, and the corporations behind it, inspires and creates.

No one should have to be called 'larp larp sahur' for having a dumbphone. And society is definitely far, far worse than it would be without algorithmic social media.

If you are in support of algorithmic social media, smartphones, and the world they create, this is probably not a space for you. Likewise if you want to shit on people's choice of dumbphone or for having a large EDC (which has never really been 'what i carry around in my pocket everyday').
