Yesterday I posted ab the free movie tix giveaway. Because of this community, and the ppl I was able to connect with over the time, someone was able to watch the movie. And he loved the Luxe exp. Cuz voucher was exactly the amount of luxe prices on tuesday. He was happy and that made happy, cuz that voucher wouldve just expired otherwise.

Same day I asked a reddit friend if she wants a tick(I had two), she said she couldnt as she had to go for this Teej Fair or something. 'But would u like to try the orange cake I made?'. Yea sure why not. Im not a huge fan of dry cakes... but it wouldve been rude to decline. But this dry cake changed my perception of dry cakes. It was juicy! Lol. Best dry cake ever.

Over this one year on reddit, I have met very random ppl, whom I wouldve never met otherwise... experienced stuff which I wouldve never experienced otherwise. Im just happy. And this is just a long rant. :)

I always wanted to do something like this but just didn't know how or when but now I don't care and I just wanna find people with the same taste as me.
So, the plan is to watch a movie or a show together as a group of 3-5 people or just you and your friend, and me.
The movies/shows I added to the carousel are the ones that I always wanted to watch with somebody but I am tired of getting people to enjoy this stuff. I don't want to be the person to make sure everyone gets the joke and they are having fun. I want to meet people who genuinely share the same taste so that we can enjoy this together.
If this seems a good plan for a weekend, let me know.
Also, I want to do this at like a mini private theatre or something where we can go as a group and watch movies of our choice. Let me know if you know a place like this in Chandigarh.

Heard mixed opinions before going in, most of the people said how they couldnt connect with characters and the whole movie is just good setpieces with good BGM.

I have watched two adaptations of Devdas and each one them have show the relation between Chandra and Dev entirely differently. However short it was, this felt like the best relationship dynamic in a Devdas movie, so far. Both were broken when they met, and thats how original novel depicts it. I really connected with the characters, just one qualm...

Wamiqa's performance before a key scene, and after a key scene really didnt work for me. At places it felt too over.

I forgot Lokesh used to be a director first. From directing his star, to becoming a star, it felt like a complete circle.

Protagonist was a key standout. The way he was written, the way he potrayed it. Really awesome.

Anirudh's music was the best thing about the movie.

Overall loved the movie.

Is someone on this sub into Anirudh's music? Is someone planning to watch this on the big screen? Like I know some ppl only go to cinema once a month, and for them that was Spiderman BND.

But is there someone who is into Tamil Cinema or Malyalam cinema and music.

Again, not a 'lets go watch this together.' I will go for it on Monday. But I was just curious ab the cinematic taste of Tricity.

Not crocs. I need some budget clogs. Any shop recommendations around tricity will be helpful. :) Also you can share your exp with a certain brand and all.

Best 'first day first show' exp. Like I usually watch movies on weekdays, cuz of less crowd and cheaper prices. But had to book FDFS cuz I had a coupon that was ab to expire.

Movie is amazing. And PXL.. PXL IS AMAZING! You feel the depth in 3d. Ppl were literally gasping in some of the height scenes. Emotionally deep, and full of action. Perfectly balanced. Loved it!! One of best from Marvel in recent times.

Lastly, they gave free poster n collectibles to us! 😍 Like its my first time getting something for watching a movie, and it felt so special. 😁

They had very limited of these posters so Idk if ppl going for future shows will het em or not. But please go and watch it only on PXL! 🙌 Not 2D, not 4DX. But specifically PXL in Cp67. 😁

My whole feed filled with police brutality against students, se-ual assault on female protestors, it has been a tough day.

But then I see this, they have been providing shelters, medical assistance and food to anyone in need, even if they are injured police officers. No questions asked.

These are the same ppl who will be tagged by the govt, if they start to protest. But still they are always ready to protect, feed and heal the one in need. 🫡

So usually Im used ro seeing the Chandigarh emblem on my main feed. But today it was all full of sonam ji's dp subs. And my main attention was on the posts describing what happened in the protest. Took me soo long to realise even our sub has finally changed the dp. Im so happyyy. 🥹 Ppl said its inconsequential, but we should show support, in whatever way we can. W mods. 🙌

I used to see posts around why Chd deserves an IMAX, but with more studios choosing to play Flat ratio versions on PXL, PXL in Cp67 is the second best IMAX exp you can have in North India.

PXL Screen is the 4th biggest screen in the entire North. Even that alone is huge.

But, among those top 4 only two cinemas have 12 channel surround sound and 4K laser projection.

So in reality, all things considered, only Priya IMAX is better compared to Cp67.

Idk how huge it is for normal folks, but for enthusiast who plan Delhi travels just for IMAX releases.. this is huge!!

Again, emphasizing it as hard as I can.. if you are planning to Watch Odyssey, watch it on PXL in Cp67. Even if you have travel few hrs, its worth it. 👍
