OH MY GOD I LITERALLY HATE THIS SO MUCH IT ANNOYS ME, idk if misunderstanding is the right word here but im tired, and annoyed (idk if this is the right flair)
but i feel like people always think gentle parenting implies no yelling no punishment no nothing, leaving the kid alone to their own devices and stuff, just gently talking to the kid and asking them of stuff......
i keep seeing videos like "when gentle parenting doesnt work" and its like parent A is asking child to do something, and they dont or dont do it immediately, in which case they either start yelling or parent B steps in and yells/orders them to; usually these are with older kids. (this is popular with older generations of who grew up with physical abuse as punishments i realized: whipping, slapping spanking etc)
my problem with this is.... THATS NOT GENTLE PARENTING, like gentle parenting implies the lack of hitting and yelling for no good reason, reasonable punishments that correlate with what was done wrong, (made a mess? clean up the mess. grades falling behind? limit screen time/distractors and help them study, etc etc).
also gentle parenting really only works if its started early, like if youve been yelling and being aggressive with the child their entire life then suddenly try being gentle with them obviously its not going to fucking work???? they dont understand the like.. difference. i cant explain this part so bear with me.... but i saw an example of which the person tells you to like raise your hand at the sound of the whistle, but then they do like a clap, and ask why didnt you do anything? kids are like that, in a sense that they got used to you being angry and yelling, and then thats when they know you're being serious.
like i feel like gentle parenting has gotten so watered down to absolute bullshit, its not letting your kid do whatever, its being REASONABLE and treating your child with respect and like a normal fucking human
and gentle parenting doesnt work with strings attached, meaning that you have to be in full support of your child no matter their sexual or gender orientation, no matter what disorders/struggles they may have, no matter what style and beliefs they hold.
tl;dr: gentle parenting isn't just not yelling and letting them whatever, its alot deeper and complicated and people need to get a hold of that omfg

just as title says... what are some ways i could bind—or atleast reduce chest size— i dont have a generally large chest i believe, im unable to get trans tape or a binder currently

im not sure if thats alot to ask for T_T" i've heard about the innioasis and it seemed like a solid choice but ive been hearing people complain about it as well, SD card not working, bluetooth having issues... ect ect....
so its got me nervous for what i might pay for.
