hosts are talking about money saving tips: “i like to book my flights for tuesday mornings between 4-6 am!’ meanwhile : https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/toronto/food-banks-poverty-report-1.7635362 and https://www.cbc.ca/news/business/canada-inflation-april-2026-9.7203790 …and one host suggested people can save money because “rental prices are dropping!” yet, i’ve never heard of landlords lowering rent for occupied units…
i’m not dumping on CBC, but be honest: these hosts are preeeeetty out-of-touch when it comes to average Canadians and the cost of living.
