My sweet little Paprika had a bad molt after many perfect ones, and now the whole left side of her is all messed up. I’m sure it’ll fix itself but I feel bad for her cuz she can’t climb her beloved volcano anymore and her lil gills are out 😭 I hope it resolves next molt. I wonder if she was wedged into a tight space in her castle that smooshed her left side or something? What do y’all think?
When Colin first mentioned wanting to ride into his wedding on horseback, I envisioned him riding some mellow, low-to-the-ground Quarter Horse type thing. But wow. Who the hell picked this horse?? It’s a gigantic, ~17hh spooky Warmblood. In a dressage saddle… with no helmet…
Don’t get me wrong, I’m all for incorporating horses into weddings. But for an obvious beginner like Colin who doesn’t even know how to properly hold the reins there could not be a worse match. The horse spooking at his initial attempt to pet and then later the dogs says it all. Plenty of horses can handle such things but not this one. And I personally believe in putting male beginner riders in western style saddles due to their roominess and “oh shit” handles. A dressage saddle is custom fitted to its rider, who is usually a petite woman. Not ole Big Booty Colin who looks extremely uncomfortable and scared. As anyone would be in his position. The horse is gorgeous and high quality, but clearly better suited for an intermediate to advanced rider. I don’t know how this isn’t a liability. Shame on their wedding planners for whatever “strings” they pulled to achieve this. And shame on that lady riding in with no helmet!
Edit: Guys I really don’t fault Colin at all here! Yeah he’s cringe but I fully believe either production, the wedding planners, or both took his idea and ran with it and failed to vet whatever source that white horse came from. I truly believe they picked the local Dressage nut down the street. I have ridden horses for 24 years and I have seen that lady a million times. Almost every barn and certainly every type of riding has them—the ones who take careless risks like not wearing a helmet or driving the 6 horse trailer home drunk after a fox hunt. Colin is a victim of poor horsemanship!

This is Meringue, my Orange Dream Lemon Blast Lesser Bongo female ball python. Such a mouthful—to me she’s just a giant piece of banana taffy! 🍌 I always wanted a big yellow snake so she was my Christmas present last year. I love her 💝

Idk about y’all but I love watching all the bands set up/take down/swap out guitars. Everyone had such cool equipment! I wish I had a better view of DGD’s guitar case.
