The Rodey Bunch
The naming convention these two decided on from day 1 is so strange. They use an "ah" for the O names for their kids. It's off putting and I only guessed 2 of the kids' names correctly. Are these people Fundie or just plain weird?

They're trying way too hard in their explanations. A sponsorship plug at the 7min mark. Language learning, homeschooling is illegal in Spain, supposedly J and P did a charter school in CA before they moved, D has taken to Spanish like it's old hat, their kids have more freedom with public transportation and personal independence. Jessica is all about the WORD SALAD, pure gibberish out of her mouth. Their 3 youngest go to a "consortato", basically a Spanish charter school or magnet school. She wants her kids to have religious content in school. J went into an international school. J is college age now but not in college yet, and Jessica insults his intelligence for not learning Spanish as quickly as 9yr old D.
They made zero mention of L or T. Very odd. They didn't mention what B is doing for college or work, just that she's "doing fine". Idk if that's them respecting her privacy, ir if they're just sheltering her all over again. They really only talked about J and D, and only one mention of P (despite their last few tiktoks have been of P for the money-making views).
Jess looks like her hair is dyed black. Chris looks like he shaved his face too hard.
Jess and Alex Castelo. I saw them on IG. They have 2 daughters and a 3rd baby on the way. He loves bikes, so much, that he spends so much money on countless balance bikes for his kids. Mind you, most of them are gently used and previously owned, but he's forgetting that the kids already have 2 or 3 balance bikes. Then he bought a 16" or 18" size bike for a 5-8yr old kid, but decided to give it to his 1yr old nephew under the silly idea "he will ride it when he's older".... no, why let it collect dust, and not donate it to another child in need, on your street or at your child's preschool or playgroup, or to a local daycare center, or a nonprofit that does both Christmas and birthday presents? Or save it thru December and donate it to a gifts4kidz type of nonprofit?
He truly has a collecting, hoarding, and over spending habit without thinking things through. This is NOT a flex he should be proud of. Many of the comments compared him to a tiktok mom with 7 strollers. It reminds me of the time Kristine from FamilyFunPack gloated and bragged how many strollers she had in their garage, like 16 of them, when girl C was born.
I thought he was deaf or hard of hearing based on how he talks, but the comments say he is from Ecuador and has a severe lisp, along with a difficulty of English grammar.
At 35th and McKinley there is an old grocery store bldg, but its empty. What was if? I'm walking around this McKinley area and it looks so lonely, desolate, like a small town whose business district went down the drain during the Great Recession. The most modern thing is the wall mural with the light rail painted on it. It's so sad here. Not even the junkies are over here, it's relatively clean, and barely 2 businesses are open --a coffee shoppe and a breakfast-all-day cafe.
Let your freak flag fly, Nickelodeon!
I had the:
Rugrats Alarm Clock
The latex Tommy doll in the blue sleeper with the blue sleeping hat (it had a yellow fabric star at the end of it)
Nickelodeon Movie Maker CDRom for Win98 from the Gateway Kids Pack
Angelica/Cynthia patterned girls size 8 underwear from Hanes
Rugrats themed socks
Tommy Pickles shaped/themed oversized floor puzzle, might have been 24 pieces
Various rugrats school supplies like pocket folders, zipper pencil case that ripped super quick, and coloring books
The Rugrats Hannakuh story book from the weekly take-home scholastic book order forms (1998 likely)
The Rugrats Movie chapter book
Various Burger King Kids Club meal toys when Nick partnered with BK for all 3 Rugrats movies
In 2021 I bought a Rugrats coloring book on Amazon and man, that book had some weird promotional art designs that obviously never made it into the TV series or movies (both in color print on the covers, and the black ink on beige coloring paper inside)
And the Coup De Gras: Rugrats Vacation on Orange VHS (two bonus episodes were Graham Canyon and Ice Cream Mountain) , 1998 until the late 2000s.
My goodness, what a trip that was. I live on the hwy where there's a wide range of lowlife thugs, streetwalkers, drug dealers, tweakers, homeless junkies, etc, whose only hobbies are doing illegal things and loitering in apartment parking lots they don't belong at, like the one I live at. I dont have in-unit laundry so I was walking to the apartment laundry room 2 bldgs away, when I heard a baby crying whimpering lightly, and there it was in a black Honda sedan, poorly parked, no adult or other people in the car, engine running and baby's backseat window all the way down, drivers window all the way down. No one around. So I do the right thing: I start shouting to the high heavens "Whose baby is this left alone in a hot car! In a high crime area! Come get your baby before I call the cops! This is how babies die in hot cars!" For 8 minutes. I took photos of the baby, license plate, car. I called the cops. Then a guy came out of a high traffic (unscrupulous people) apartment, he's like maybe 19-20years old, and then he started started harassing me for judging his car and I should mind my own business, how he parked and left the keys in isn't my business, he called the me the N word (I'm white and he was mixed race), he assumed I was making fun of his car for being old, he told me off in many colorful words. Man, it was already 80degrees outside by that point, let alone 15 degrees hotter inside the enclosed car (regardless of two windows open).
Not once though, did he ever acknowledge the baby he left in the car. Like the car was the most important thing to him, but the person inside of it was insignificant. He continued cussing at me as I walked back to my apartment, not having done my laundry, still being ignorant and crass. I was out there next to the baby for 8min, likely the baby was alone for 10min or longer. He drove away southbound for Parkland.
Baby was about 6 to 12 months, maybe closer to 9 months (not yet waving but could see me well 3ft away from car door, smiling and cooing and squeaking bc he was being paid attention to).
Tacoma PD showed up 20min later to my door, I gave them the photos, details of apt he came from, license plate, etc. When I mentioned he didn't acknowledge the baby but only cared about his car and his defensive verbal vomit, they raised an eyebrow and agreed "that's way out of line for anyone to do". I liked his comment. He said "we will be pursuing a child abuse charge very likely".
2 hours later I got a text alert from TPD to submit photos from the event to their online form. They added a notation of "abuse charges have been filed and cps will be involved with an open case". Good. GOOD. GOOD. GOOD.
This dummy genz brat who couldn't even take accountability for his actions, ignored the fact there was a baby in the car, had a goatee and a black hoodie with the words "RICH SOON" in large grey bubble letters on the front. He might have been 5'10". Claimed he lived at thar apartment for 6 yrs but I walk past it every day to do laundry/mail, see the two young kids 6 and 10yrs old playing out front, a 3yr old on occasion, but never seen this chump before. PUNK.
Just horrible who she is.
This was my Facebook ranting about it 5yrs ago in 2021, and someone commented on it today. In one of my responses I made up a whole Bible chapter about it just to poke fun at their lack of experience. Also relevant to the original Duggar DiscoveryHealth/TLC episodes where the producers paid for grocery hauls bc the whole family was below the poverty line and they were starving the kids, skipping meals in shifts against their wills and supposedly different kids at once a day at different times.
With 19 kids you can't teach them the lifeskills or common sense that are vitally important for adulthood, that you could easily teach 1 to 6 kids. All 19 of them were truly groomed and setup for failing at adulting. Many of them still are failing at adulting (outside of procreation), basic life skills and common sense.
Curious. Or maybe she will stop vlogging by then. Or maybe she will go back to her 2023 version of oversharing far too much of everything, and spend $50K on unnecessary junk for the kids/teens of things they already have and don't even need.
Shark in the Water should have been a full-on Degrassi Steampunk Victorian Circus movie, not just a music video and commercial promos.
Chris Sharpe and Terri MacGregor should have dated in season 3, and Rick would have gone after Toby for all of his pent-up rage issues.
Jack Simpson would have been aged up to 13 and grade 8 by season 10, then would've been in grade 8 while Connor was in grade 10. A lot of plots could have been shared between them, maybe as C plots, give Archie Simpson a few more gray hairs. Lucy would have been Connor's mom, but made Snake his godfather.
The deleted scene of Raditch and Hatzilakos would've been kept in the episode it was intended for. It would've been good fodder for why Raditch was more prepccupied with his personal life, rather than his Principal Life.
Peter should've joined the AV Club with Toby and turned it into something cool, something creative, rather than go straight for Darcy on the rebound after Emma's eating disorder issues scared him away. Tim and Derek should've been kept around for joining the AV Club, instead of Tim being a throw-away and to give Derek some purpose.
Liberty would've gone to Toronto U from the very start. Her dorm life would've been uneventful, but she would've had other black female academic high-strung rivals. Her dyscalculia would've made a 2nd appearance, needing extra tutoring from a student tutoring center instead of a repeat of season2. Manny would have been aware of Liberty's academic stress, but would've stayed quiet and not let Emma know anything. Continuity is key.
Dallas, Drew, and Jake would've done one of those overnight extreme senior pranks on campus that show up in tv newscasts every June. Simpson would be stressed the F out.
No schlaboggle you broomheads.
A comment I made on another subreddit regarding The Binghams: "The impression that I get from yalls Comments is that H is 11 now, but is treated like she's 7-8yrs old and compensates by acting 7-8yrs old, talking/communicating that young, etc. Am I right?
Do they still baby 13yr old B? Do they expect/raise him to act/communicate like a really tall 10yr old?"
Are the Bingham children any more, or any less infantalized than the kids of Ballinger Family? Than the kids of FamilyFunPack? Than the three youngest of Tannerites? Which parents of all these LDS/Christian youtube families are over-infantalizing their children at the worst, at the youngest they can?
So many youtube and tiktok vlogger parents are obsessed with treating their kids like they're 3 to 10 years younger than their chronological age, and they do it like it's a freaking competitive sport. It's aggravating and doesn't help their kids grow up or become more independent. It backfires in the long run.
11 kids, 9c-sections, don't drink pop/soda but loves feeding her kids Brew and Swigg and Starbucks. Homeschools and thinks public schools are the enemy. Lover of Jesus and likely born-again. Uggs, iphones, 5below, and overpriced earbuds. Lots of tiktok shop partnerships. Exploits more of herself than her kids. Husband barely in any of her tiktoks. She's wacko. She would do well on a modern day episode of WifeSwap.
So....since Jake Goldsbie wasn't even invited to show up for the movie, who in casting decided "we need to have a stand-in Toby because forgot to call Jake Goldsbie".....how did they find that fake dude? Why does he look so Uncanny yet so Wrong? How much did they pay him? Why was he uncredited, what's his name, and does he have the answers? How come not one cast member in any interviews on various podcasts has mentioned the FAUXBY?
I want answers! I want the real Toby back! This isn't fair!
Large wide elbows. Goopy cheese slid out of the foil pack in one long rectangle, nothing left inside the foil pack. Took like 5min to break it up and stir it effectively into the noodles. The taste was mild to start with. It got tastier with about 3 more bites, then went back to Mild/Barely Noticable. I bought it at an organic co-op grocery store. It looks like a Daiya knockoff.
SCORES

Cheese goo: 3/10

buy it again? NAH BRO.
Roloff Farms is up for sale again. I like the comments about how it's the first time on camera the house is clean and presentable, in comparison to when JZMJ were kids/teens, and Amy couldn't keep up with the housework, 4 kids and a demanding narcissistic husband with a billion unfinished projects, some of which were inside the house and of rebuilding/remodeling the house, while they had their lives aired on international television for all to see.
I love the comments. These photos are screenshots from a realtor's TikTok page. The music they used for it is WHACK, but otherwise the house is immaculate for the first time ever.
Out of curiosity, I called my local Walgreens, and asked how much PlanB costs. They said $49.95 before tax. That's absurd, and overpricing and pink-taxing women. PlanB isn't for funsies, it's serious and should be FREE, bc some women don't have enough money in the moment but the window of opportunity is so so short. I don't need it, but I was curious, and now I'm very offended that our pharmaceutical industry is sexist and pink-taxes women. How Rude!
I don't understand these Butlers and bleaching their hair. I dont understand Shay's poor choices with weight and hair. Emmi's dress is very, very Churchy; where does one buy those kinds of dresses? Gavin looks like a young Shay. Daxton smiles kinda better than he used to, but it still looks like he grimmaces reactively to cameras. Brock is taller than his mom and almost 6ft. Colette's dress is really LOUD. Avia was there for her sister's and cousins' graduation just a week before this photo. The other girl is Gavin's fiance, she's neutrally pretty.
Big question. Season 1 thru Season 9 I'd like to know the most. My theory for season 3 was Jay, Alex, and Toby had the most amount of non-working off days. For season 8 my best guess is Anya.
Like for example, not just lack of script/lines, but completely absent from hallway and classroom scenes in various episodes?
I'm start with three episodes, who didn't make any appearance at all despite being in the main cast?
