Is SpotiFLAC Next still available via Ko-Fi?

Just wondering if you can still get access to it with Ko-Fi, as of 5 days ago there's a post saying, "support has moved from Ko-Fi".

Unsure if this is the dev saying there are more donation options now, or that the Ko-Fi donation is no longer valid.

Will Smith's pull ups in this I Am Legend (2007) scene...

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eIo2KoczUAI

No clue if Will Smith decided to perform them this way, or was directed to, but as someone who has been doing bodyweight training for a bit now, this stuck out like a sore thumb to me on rewatch lol

His physique is great in the film, but I think you can tell that this might be his actual form that he was doing, because his lats look less developed compared to the rest of his upper body.

Crazy what you could get away with in 00s cinema

Is there really no way to enable "high quality"/LDAC mode on the Headphones Pro without an android device?

There isn't an option for it on the iOS app.

However, I have a DAP capable of LDAC, but it is Linux-based (HibyOS), and so there is no way for me to download the Nothing App on there.

Because of this, I'm unable to get the LDAC codec when listening via Bluetooth.

Is there no other way to enable it? Seems like a pretty obvious design flaw.

Does anyone know how the wired function on the CMF Headphone Pro works when connected to an external DAC/Amp?

I know that EQ, bass/treble tuner, and the ANC still work in wired mode, so obviously the headphones are still doing some of their own signal processing.

But will running it wired into a desktop DAC & Amp or dongle make any difference?

Will it be a "hybrid" sort of thing where some of the signal is still processed by the Headphone Pro, but the source is still the audio from the DAC/Amp setup?

When verifying, it brute opens a new tab on my active browser every time, is this working as intended?

Using it for the first time now, and it opens a new window asking for verification no matter what I'm tabbed onto. Is this how it's meant to work?

Anyone know if the R1 retains volume channel balance information when in USB OTG mode?

Basically, my nicest pairs of IEMs got ruined (the culprit being Schiit Magni Heresy), and the left IEM plays at 70ish% of the volume of the right IEM.

The R1 will be the first DAP I've used, and I'm excited because it has that ability to individually change the volume on both channels.

I was thinking I could bring these IEMs "back to life" by simply turning down the right channel until its volume matches the left. However, I plan on listening to it with a passive DAC/Amp dongle, and so I was wondering if that volume information would be retained with it, effectively allowing me to enjoy my IEMs again! Can anyone confirm this? Everything I've read indicates that it should, because I believe the "digital volume" information is all sent in USB OTG mode, but I'd just want to make sure.

Coming back as someone who mained her during her first 1-2 years of release... I personally think she's way more fun now.

I liked her concept a lot upon release, I didn't have a great early skirmisher in my jungle roster, so she filled that niche nicely.

However, I eventually stuck to my bigger mains, because eventually she just felt like she had the feast or famine nature of being an assassin, without actually being an assassin. But she also lacked the utility of other early skirmishers like a Lee or Xin, that still make them relevant even if they fall behind. In a lot of ways to me it felt like playing a worse Graves.

I think this hyperscaling identity suits her thematically and gameplay-wise so much more. I get that when you main a champ it's annoying when riot messes with it, I experienced this with Kayn and Shyvana. So I can get why people are annoyed that she was changed, when it wasn't super necessary for her to change. But I think this gives her a much stronger identity/role to fill in.

Sure, it's a bit of a mish mosh of Yi and Viego, but honestly by mid-game I didn't feel she played much differently than she did pre-rework anyways, except now she's just an absolute monster late game on top of that, and has a more guaranteed path to success. Rather than the more grey area she existed in before (in my opinion).

Just dropped 21 kills in my first game with her in high emerald/low diamond (after a shitty early game of being invaded with no rotation from my team), and I ended up outscaling a Yone and a full crit Tryndamere. I managed to base defend a 1v3 at nexus turrets while enemy team had baron, because it was late game and my wave clear was insane at that point.

The AP changes also allowed me to build Zhonya's which saved multiple fights. I maxed E after 3 points in Q, and that felt really good, secured probably 3 different double kills with an E bait alone.

Now, I know I'm biased because I typically play champs who scale and sacrifice their early game, i.e. Kayn or Shyvana, but even so, in the late game I haven't felt that powerful on a champ in a loong time.

Yes, she's super weak early now. But I do believe they've successfully made her a late game monster, and to me it just fits her so well. It's also nice actually being able to play half the game as her true form.

Where do the album artwork screensavers pull their artwork from?

Is it only from locally available files? I.e., it's not going to pull from streaming apps or CD artworks?

I have a PLAY model, and the album artwork screensavers don't display anything other than the generic blank CD graphics.

Way too early for the Ament hate

Firstly, I don't even think he's having an awful summer league. It's underwhelming, but he doesn't look like he's destined for Europe or anything.

I empathize with the guy. I played high school ball, and in my pure speculation, I think it's clear it's just a lot of mental block with him. The way he plays looks so familiar to me.

For anyone who played team sports, if you ever had a guy on the team who dominated like a starter in practice, but shrank when it came to game time, that's what Ament looks like to me. You can tell he's playing with his instincts turned off, and overthinking everything. That's what that deer in the headlights vibe is he has going on. He's not playing loose and free like I bet he does in practice, when he doesn't feel like he has to prove to everyone that he's worthy of being out there.

He's a 19 year old kid lol, I think people are eager to hate on him for no reason. He's got plenty of time in his rookie season to figure it out, especially with Burries seemingly looking like he could have Dylan Harper level impact right out the gate too.

I just think it's silly to write him off when he's a teenager who's far into his own head while trying to make the transition. I think getting over that mental hump is going to be the determining factor as to what his ceiling is in this league. Even though the archetype is becoming more popular, there just aren't many 6'11" guys who can move like him and shoot like him. The vision is there. Whether the Bucks can foster him into becoming comfortable on the court, and he has the determination to accomplish it will remain to be seen. But he clearly has a lot of tools in the kit to make it happen.

Looking to play for the first time on a Japanese copy. Will I still be able to understand the narrative even if it's in Japanese?

From what I understand about the game, there's very little dialogue.

I know that there are contextual hints given to help solve puzzles, and then some narrative flashback bits.

I don't really mind missing out on the context clues for the puzzles. However, will I be missing any pertinent/key information from the boy's inner monologue moments? Or can the whole story pretty much be derived from visuals and their own form of communication?

Is The Last Guardian fully playable? Or is playing it natively still the best option

The only reason I'd want to install this emulator is to experience that game.

Just wondering if anyone has experiencing playing through the entire game or not

The World We Knew is the song that got me

This was my first rhythm game (one that I actually completed), and I was really enjoying it, thought the music was great, the pacing of introducing new mechanics was super satisfactory, and obviously the visuals and sound design are super well done.

But this was the track that gave me chills, and by the end of it I actually cried a bit, I was kind of shocked.

I'm pretty bad at rhythm games as I'm not used to them lol, so I had been getting all silvers besides the first level which was easy to gold.

But on the first try I got gold on this track without dying, I was weirdly in a super meditative flow state throughout it, it felt so satisfying. Granted it felt like maybe one of the easiest levels, but still after letting the song sink in, and finally clearing one of the levels with a gold, it felt so nice.

Honestly I played this game because I felt like I put someone and myself through this level of heartbreak, and it did hit. Kind of thought the reviews might be glazing it, but it's a wonderful piece of art for sure.

The final song, A Place I Don't Know, was super apt too. Felt like the perfect song to end the game with, it's one of those songs that suit the end of a film too.

Looking to purchase the iam8bit physical release of the game, can the barcode be used for verification of that?

Looking at some listings online, and just wanting to make sure that's the way I can be certain. Will the barcode and numbers/SKU associated with it be the exact same on every copy of the iam8bit release of the game?

Just curious if anyone here knew for sure, because the covers don't really differ from the wider general release of the game.

The biggest difference I can tell is that the general release was published under "Skybound Games," so the iam8bit version wouldn't have that logo on the back of it.

Thunderbolt 3 ports on x570 Creator won't recognize anything

I've just updated to the latest BIOS, ensured Thunderbolt was Enabled in BIOS, and set the Security to No Security.

I used the latest Lenovo and Intel Thunderbolt drivers since ASRock has not provided a Thunderbolt driver since 2019.

But, for whatever reason, it still won't recognize an external SSD, or anything for that matter.

I simply want to use the port so I can get the 10gbps speed of the SSD, as the USB-C port on my case is not that fast.

I also have a USB hub with a display screen, which can be used with just a USB-C cable, I think for this I need to connect either a DP or HDMI cable from the MOBO to the GPU as well. But regardless it doesn't recognize that either.

It shows up under System Devices as Thunderbolt Controller, but when I run the software as well, it won't recognize anything I plug into it.

Does anyone have a fix for this? This seems to be a problem board because there are many issues reported about it back in 2020, but outside of the fixes I've already tried there doesn't seem to be one solution.

My hot take: 1994-2000 are their own demographic

I feel that this blended line between the Millennial and Gen Z border generally have more in common with each other, than they do with their older and younger peers, respectively.

Essentially I see the late stage Millennials and the unc Gen Zs as their own mini generation.

I am just getting into the history of the Philippines. Why is there historically not a stronger animosity towards Japan, compared to a country like Korea? Or is there?

Just curious about this.

Koreans and Japanese infamously have a bitter history and storied "hatred" towards one another. I understand this is because Japan ruled and systemically oppressed them for decades in the 20th century.

Obviously this mostly applies to the older generations at this point, but the history still remains.

Now, Japan (to my knowledge) only occupied the Philippines for 3 years.

However, the damage done in those 3 years is insurmountable in comparison.

The Manila Massacre is comparable to the R*pe of Nanking (don't want to set off filters or moderation, idk).

The atrocities and horrors they committed there were on a completely different scale in terms of violence and war crimes compared to what happened in Korea (to my knowledge).

They killed 10% of Manila's population, the overall death toll around 1 million, or 5% of the country's population. It was genocidal levels of killing. They deliberately annihilated villages, r*ped and killed women and children, beheaded victims, etc.

Yet, as an outsider, I never really hear of animosity towards Japan from the Philippines, in the same way it is general knowledge like Korea and Japan. I definitely get a sense of xenophobia or even racism from the Japanese towards Filipinos (again, I presume mostly older generation and extremist right wingers if younger generation), but not the other way around.

Of course, Japan has immense soft power globally, so I'm sure this is a factor.

But for people actually in the country, is this a sentiment that exists at all?

Haven't tried the beta yet, does the voice cloning AI "scale" when giving it a larger audio sample?

I know it's not on the level of something like Elevenlabs yet, but if you give Davinci a larger/longer sample to work with, do the results come out better more realistic? Or does it reach a ceiling very quickly?

So I purchased this in 2020, and while I've always enjoyed the sound that comes out of it, it seems now without fail it will eventually do something to the left side driver that destroys it.

The first listening device this happened to was with a pair of AKG Quincy Jones Q701. After that, out of caution, I've only tested it with budget IEMs.

4 more IEMs later, and all of them experienced this same issue, eventually the left channel loses all volume. Most recently, the Linsoul x Crinacle Zero 2s lasted about 10 months before suddenly it lost all volume on the left channel. This might be a cable failure though, considering how cheap those are.

However, I did also use a pair of DUNU Falcon Ultra with it, and they at first lost all volume, then when I stopped using it with the heresy, the volume was partially restored. But the driver on the left IEM of it still is noticeably quieter than the right one.

Obviously I'm going to just finally replace the amp altogether, and likely not with a schiit this time, but what could be causing this? It's crazy to me that an amp from a well-respected brand could just straight up destroy a pair of headphones or IEMs like that.

Revenant came up on my algorithm the other day but I honestly just thought it was some random one off track they did with another artist because it was credited as "Loathe & Nowhere2run," not featuring or anything. Although I liked the track (prefer Gifted Every Strength) it didn't even register to me that it could be a new single lol

It wasn't until today when I got some merch notification that I saw the tracklist and everything

Can't believe it's finally happening it's been an honor ladies & gentlemen. Couple of songs on the tracklist also have some rather poignant titles for me personally, especially for it to release this year, I'm very hyped. Man I love music idk where I'd be without it, ty for existing loathe
