My X-Men (2027) Pitch

UPDATE: I meant to list 2028 as the year film will release.

‘X-MEN: SINISTER’

Act I

In 2016, Nathaniel Essex works on Project: Black Womb where he and Dr. Kurt Marko, the future father of Juggernaut, research and monitor mutant bloodlines. Four years later, Essex discovers the nine-year-old Jean Grey and becomes obsessed with her abilities. He arranges for her parents to be killed, so that she’d be placed into his orphanage, The State Home for Foundlings, but before he can carry out the plan, Charles Xavier recruits Jean as his first student.

Shortly after, Essex discovers young mutants Scott and Alex Summers, who were brutally injured in a plane crash that also killed their parents. Essex disguises himself as a doctor at the hospital Scott and Alex are being treated at, experiments on them both, allows Alex to live at The State Home for Foundlings, and causes Scott to slip into a coma to further research his powers and genetic makeup. Eventually, Scott wakes up and joins his brother at the orphanage.

Years later in the present year of 2028, Professor Charles Xavier has fully established The School for Gifted Youngsters, which is attended by Scott Summers, Jean Grey, Bobby Drake, Henry McCoy, and Warren Worthington III, who now fight crime as Cyclops, Marvel Girl, Iceman, Beast, and Angel. They recently prevented Xavier’s longtime rival and former partner Erik Lensherr aka Magneto and his Brotherhood of Mutants, which includes Alex Summers aka Havok, from taking over the world and enslaving the human race.

With Magneto and his team now being held at The Raft, where he’s held in a plastic cell built specifically for him, Professor X uses Cerebro to search for other mutants across the globe. Scott and Jean track Storm, Rogue, and Colossus down and recruit them to attend Xavier’s School for Gifted Youngsters. Professor X also discovers the existence of two other mutants, twins Wanda and Pietro Maximoff, the children of Magneto.

Act II

Now operating as the villainous Mister Sinister, Nathaniel Essex forms a team of mutants known as the Marauders, which includes Sabretooth, Arclight, Blockbuster, Harpoon, and Malice, and orders them to attack the X-Men and capture Jean Grey. In their first confrontation with the X-Men, the Marauders successfully best them and capture Jean, delivering her to Mister Sinister.

Sinister forces Jean to remain in a comatose state, so he can extract her DNA to create a clone and ultimately harness her immense power.
New students Ororo Munroe, Piotr Rasputin, and Anna Marie are forced to join the X-Men as Storm, Colossus, and Rogue to attempt a rescue mission of Jean Grey. Mister Sinister dispatches the Marauders to stop the X-Men from retrieving Jean, and a battle ensues where Iceman is severely injured.
Having no other choice, Professor X decides to ask Magneto for help.

Professor X and the X-Men break Magneto, Mystique, Toad, Havok, and Mastermind out of The Raft.

Act III

With the help of Magneto and his Brotherhood of Mutants, Professor X and the X-Men locate Jean Grey and rescue her from Mister Sinister. When they arrive to free her, they discover that Sinister has already created a clone of Jean, and they are unable to tell which is the original. Both versions of Jean leave with the others.

Still unable to decipher who is the original or the clone, both Jeans stay behind at the X-Mansion for Professor X to evaluate, while the rest of the mutants leave to confront Mister Sinister.
During the final confrontation with Sinister and the Marauders, the X-Men and Brotherhood struggle to defeat them. Eventually, the Jean Grey that Xavier believes to be the original joins the fight, using her telekinesis to defeat Mister Sinister while the others best the Marauders. He is then arrested and imprisoned at The Raft.

In the aftermath of the final battle, Professor X once again attempts to recruit Magneto and his Brotherhood to join the X-Men and teach and attend his School for Gifted Youngsters. He declines, but Havok stays behind as Magneto and the rest of the Brotherhood depart to search for his long lost children.

The Jean that Xavier believes to be the clone created by Mister Sinister departs to find her place in the world.

In the final sequence, Scott Summers and Hank McCoy are shown recruiting Kurt Wagner aka Nightcrawler, Sean Cassidy aka Banshee, and Jubilation Lee aka Jubilee to enroll at the School for Gifted Youngsters.

In the post-credits scene, Remy LeBeau aka Gambit meets Logan aka Wolverine in a bar, where they begin to argue. The final shot shows them gearing up to fight.

X-MEN NOIR: Good or Bad?

What’s the general consensus on the original X-Men Noir series created by Fred Van Lente and Dennis Calero?

I’ve never read any of the Marvel Noir titles outside of Spider-Man, Daredevil, and Iron Man. I know the X-Men in this universe aren’t actually mutants (not sure mutants exist at all on Earth-90214), and that they’re all like horrible people.

Is it worth reading?

My ‘HULK NOIR’ Comic Series Pitch

My ‘HULK NOIR’ Comic Series Pitch

‘HULK NOIR’ would be a 5-issue comic book series written by Jeph Loeb and illustrated by Tim Sale, the creators of the critically acclaimed ‘HULK GRAY’. The series would take place on Earth-90214, the same continuity as the other Marvel Noir titles.

Set in 1939, Bruce Banner undergoes a military experiment that aims to develop an army of “super soldiers” as Nazi Germany continues to invade and takeover countries across Europe. The United States has yet to enter in the war, but their involvement is imminent. The procedure appears to be a failure and Banner is hospitalized after falling into a months-long coma.

In 1941, Banner, who has been kept on life support for three years, wakes up and transforms into a large gray monster. After he escapes the military research facility, Bruce does not transform back into his human form, but he slowly regains awareness and his intelligence. When he attempts to return home to his wife, Betty Ross, she screams in horror and demands that he leave her alone.

Lost and with nowhere to go, Bruce takes a job as a mob enforcer as a member of Wilson Fisk / Kingpin’s gang and adopts the name “Joe Fixit”. After carrying out a number of murders, he is tasked with attacking and blackmailing millionaire adventurer and explorer Tony Stark. Unaware the he’s secretly the well-known superhero Iron Man, Joe Fixit is surprised when Stark suits up to defend himself.

The rest of the story involves Iron Man working to uncover the Kingpin’s conspiracy aiming to blackmail him while repeatedly encountering Bruce Banner / Joe Fixit. In the final issue, Iron Man defeats and kills Joe Fixit during a violent battle that leads to the destruction of NYC. Iron Man goes on to take down the criminal organization and arrest Wilson Fisk.

The final panels of the issue would reveal that Banner actually survived, showing him rise from the grave and embark on a mission to get revenge on Tony Stark.

Other Heroes in the Noir Universe

After finishing the whole season, I was listening to them new Weekly Planet podcast episode where they reviewed the show. They mentioned that Marvel had published an Iron Man Noir series around the same time as Spider-Man and the X-Men got their’s. I knew ab SM, X-Men, DD, and the Punisher titles, but I was completely unaware of Iron Man’s.

They started talking about how this show could inspire Marvel Studios to make their own projects set in the Noir universe, even going as far as floating the possibility of RDJ returning to the role if he was interested enough in the project.

Anyway, I just wanted to ask which characters you would like to see in the event that Marvel Studios and Sony made a deal to share the Noir universe. I know there’s no comic series for it, but I personally would love to see the Spider-Noir writers get a shot at adapting the Hulk or the Fantastic Four in the same universe as Nic Cage’s Ben Reilly.

I Need A 4 Issue Hulk Noir Series

I totally get why a character like Captain America didn’t get a series in the Noir universe, because his character already has an origin that takes place just a decade after the time period the Noir books are set in. But… The concept of a Hulk Noir book with a similar style to Hulk: Gray sounds so amazing to me. I hope the success of the Spider-Noir show encourages Marvel to expand the lore of that universe some more. I feel like a Fantastic Four Noir could work as well.

I may just write one of them myself lol.

My DCU Justice League Prediction

Prediction:

The first Justice League lineup will form the team at the end of Man of Tomorrow.

The first iteration of the League will consist of Superman, John Stewart / Green Lantern, Guy Gardner / Green Lantern, Hawkgirl, Mister Terrific, and Supergirl.

At the end of both The Brave and the Bold and the new Wonder Woman film will see them being recruited to join the team.

The Flash and Martian Manhunter will be introduced either in their own films leading up to the first Justice League film or the film itself.

By the start of the Justice League film, Supergirl and Mister Terrific will have left the team to go on solo adventures, and Guy Gardner will have left to protect a different sector somewhere in outer space.

The team that the film will focus on will consist of Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, John Stewart / Green Lantern, Wally West / The Flash, Hawkgirl, and Martian Manhunter. I say this because James Gunn has mentioned that he is a fan of and draws inspiration from and 2000s Justice League cartoon.

Either Vandal Savage or the Crime Syndicate will be the main villains of the film. It’s unlikely that Gunn will choose to adapt Darkseid as the League’s first villain since he was used so recently in the DCEU.

The film will end with the induction of many new heroes including Guy Gardner / Green Lantern, Jaime Reyes / Blue Beetle, Booster Gold, Green Arrow, Black Canary, Atom, and Shazam. They will form the Justice League International, while the original team will be known as the Justice League of America.

I Need a F4 Cartoon in the Style of YFNSM

Since both Spider-Man and the Fantastic Four didn’t get origin stories in the MCU, it would make sense for Marvel to make a Disney+ series about the early days of the Fantastic Four from Earth-828.

Here’s my pitch for the 1st season:

- depicts the origins of how the F4 got their powers
- contains flashbacks / scenes set during Reed’s college years where he first meets Victor Von Doom
- we see the first time the team fights Moleman, Red Ghost, and the Puppet Master, but the big bad of the season is Doctor Doom
- this would set a precedence for the F4’s relationship with Doom going into Avengers: Doomsday, assuming that movie won’t be the first time they fight him (pretty sure it was confirmed that they have met him already before the events of First Steps)
- Steve Rogers could also make a cameo in the series, which would revive the idea the filmmakers had to show that he’d ended up on Earth-828 after Endgame

it doesn’t necessarily have to be set in the same universe as the film since YFNSM isn’t set in the MCU’s main timeline, but i’d like it if it was.

AVENGERS: SECRET WARS THEORY

Some of this just short of already confirmed or expected, but here’s my theory:

- The film will end with the heroes defeating Doctor Doom and attempting to restore their respective timelines, but they’ll only be able to combine the surviving characters into one singular universe. Bruce Banner, Doctor Strange, Scarlet Witch, Wolverine and all of the Fox characters except Deadpool, Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield’s Spider-Men, and many more will die in the final battle.

- The new universe will feature variants of previously deceased heroes like Steve Rogers, Tony Stark, Natasha Romanoff, Pietro Maximoff, and more played by new actors and actresses. The Fantastic Four from Earth-828 will survive and join the new universe and Tom Holland’s Peter Parker will also survive.

- With the timeline reset and the new universe being born, we’ll see the Avengers films start towards the beginning of the team’s existence, featuring Steve Rogers as Cap, Tony Stark as Iron Man, Thor, Bruce Banner as the Hulk, Hank Pym and Janet Van Dyne as Ant-Man and the Wasp, and possibly Hawkeye, Scarlet Witch, and Quicksilver.

- The new X-Men team will consist of Cyclops, Jean Grey, Iceman, Beast, and Angel, being led by Professor X against a villain we haven’t seen in previous films. It will likely be Mister Sinister. Magneto and the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants will also appear.

- The previous actors/actresses for Miss Marvel, Kate Bishop, Wiccan and Speed, Cassie Lang, and Ironheart will form the Young Avengers or Champions.

- The Fantastic Four will have to adjust to the new universe and its present day setting. They will likely fight Annilihus as their next big villain.

Justice League Lineup

Who do you guys wanna see / expect to be included in the DCU’s initial Justice League lineup?

My dream team would be:

Superman
Batman
Wonder Woman
Wally West as the Flash
John Stewart as Green Lantern
Hawkgirl
Mister Terrific
Martian Manhunter
Jaime Reyes as Blue Beetle

If Gunn chooses to start off with a “core seven” team, I guess Blue Beetle and Mister Terrific could go, but I’m hoping for a huge team like in Justice League Unlimited.

My Predictions For The Batman Part II

Bruce Wayne will become more of a billionaire playboy in the film.

Sebastian Stan’s Harvey Dent will be elected District Attorney of Gotham City at the start of the film.

Scarlett Johansson’s Gilda Dent will commit the murders of various crime bosses across Gotham City as the serial killer known as Holiday. When Harvey finds out, he attempts to confront her, but ends up horribly injured in an accident where he is framed as Holiday and Gilda escapes. Harvey is then sent to Arkham Asylum.

Sebastian Koch plays Doctor Hugo Strange, who psychologically evaluates Dent while he’s in Arkham. Seeing Dent as broken and moldable, Strange makes him question his sense of morality, eventually convincing him that the city must be cleansed of crime via the murder of all of its mob bosses.

While in Arkham Asylum, Harvey Dent meets the Joker, played by Barry Keoghan. When Strange eventually stages a breakout for Dent to escape, the Joker does as well.

Harvey becomes Two-Face to continue the work started by his wife, Gilda. He murders multiple mob bosses across Gotham City, leaving a trail of bodies behind for Batman to find. When he takes out their boss, Two-Face absorbs the crew into his own.

When Two-Face attempts to kill the Penguin, he is thwarted by Batman, leading to his arrest.

Using the large crew of gangsters and hitmen that Two-Face built, Hugo Strange raids the GCPD and takes control of the city.

Batman and Commissioner Gordon work together to take the city back from Strange, eventually succeeding.

I’m looking for first hand accounts from people that attended Dirty Beaches live shows to include in a book I’m writing about the band. This is the group where I’ve seen the most discussion surrounding the band so I figured this would be my best bet.
