I’m already aware of the paid ticketed event happening in Venice Beach Friday and Saturday. But are there any other events scheduled across Los Angeles this weekend?

Coming back from visiting family in the Midwest and I need to know where I can get a solid malt, they seem to be hard to find in our area compared to Illinois.

I am Debating on sections C-F behind the visitors’ dugout, 104-105 in the outfield by the bullpen, or 121-124 behind home plate.

Are any of these sections superior to the others? (I’m aware of the access to the Clubs with the letter section tickets.)

I wanted to buy tickets for the cold beers and cheeseburger terrace or the home run porch but I’m attending solo.

I’m asking for recommendations on local places to eat (breakfast-dinner), coffee shops, bars/breweries (dives, themed, speakeasies), dispensaries, interesting neighborhoods, etc. around downtown and Chase Field.

I am also heavily involved in photography/street photography and love exploring and walking around unique streets and busy corridors of the city.

I’ll be visiting in mid-late August for an evening Cubs @ Diamondbacks game.

Thinking about taking the metro from Long Beach to Boyle Heights tomorrow for the World Cup match, how late does Metro run from East LA to Long Beach? Also, how are the rides later in the evening on the Metro? I’ve ridden public transportation frequently in SF, CHI, and NY and have never had any issues whatsoever, love it. What are people’s experiences here?
