W max Sett Matchup

So I'm new to the champ foolin around in low Plat. Got Sett matchup 2 games in a row. 1st guy went a botrk q max build and I was able to easily dominate him. 2nd guy had like 2 mill Sett mastery and went the W max giga HP build. I went grasp into both, which is probably wrong, but what do I do against a Sett whos good at holding W until you're just out of abilities/dashes? Even if you dodge it the giant fuck you shield really makes it tough

Shared world/MMO like games

I've tried all the big ARPGs, looking for something similar to that or MMOs, played all the super big MMOs but looking for something new in that vein, loot, progression, some multiplayer etc. Just stuck in a rut with nothing to play besides league of legends lol. Just really want something to grind with hopefully good combat

Got a large "bonus" from company sale - where to start?

[ID,USA]

So my company just sold and since I have a percentage ownership from employment I am receiving roughly $75k as a lump sum. I also maintain my employment and am expecting a small raise as we move to the new company.

I am married, my wife and I own a home we owe roughly $400k on, have her car that we owe $25k on, and I have remaining student loans of $30k. We have a small emergency fund of $10k set up and we make roughly $240k a year before taxes. We both max out our 401ks and such.

Firstly, I'm planning to not withhold any of this for taxes, as I was advised that with that size of a lump sum you can invest it to offset some of the taxes when filing time comes.

I really have no idea where to even start. Should I just knock out my student loans and her car first? We have no other debt besides the house. Invest it? I have no interest in spending it on anything besides setting us up in the future.

The problem is, I've never really done any research or anything when it comes to investing or anything like that beyond the bare minimum 401k stuff.

Any advice on where to start would be greatly appreciated. We're actively trying for a baby, so this could not have come at a better time, but I want to be smart and do this right.

Anyone else hate laning against Viktor?

This has nothing to do with his current power level or even kit design in general.

He's just so smug it pisses me off. Just standing there. All tall and skinny. Nonchalant. E barely has an animation on the character model. It's like he's not even trying.

He insists upon himself.

EF Performance Question

I recently inherited an application that, as a simplified description, grabs data from XML files and inserts it into our DB.

It's built in .net 6 and uses EF mostly normally, but theres one specific type of record that the previous dev had set up to go 1 by 1 and call a complex stored procedure on each XML record to upsert into a DB row. Now this isnt the slowest sp I've ever come across, averaging about 180ms per row, but each XML has 10-100k of these records, and a hundred or so come in a day, so it adds up quick. In fact, with more data coming in now than ever we're always going to be behind!

Now I'm no SQL wizard, but there's gotta be a better way of doing this. Basically each SP call is called straight from C#, in a loop of all the XML records. Seems like it would be faster to batch insert records and call a sp that processes the entire batch on the SQL server itself... any ideas? Thanks :)

Weird start issues

Recently a couple times a week my 96 1500, when I go to start it, will crank fine, start up, but die a second after. I noticed the battery drop to the low side of the gauge when this occurs, however the crank is strong. I can get it to start and stay started after a few crank attempts, and the voltage quickly rises to 14V.

So, naturally I'm at a bit of a loss at this behavior, anyone have any idea what the problem would be? Just a bad battery? (It is a cheapo)

Anywhere I can rent a small keg on short notice?

Heading up to Idaho Falls tomorrow to hang out with some friends for the weekend and thought it would be fun to grab a small keg of a decent IPA. A 5 gallon would be more than enough. Where should I go to get this? Closer to Meridian or the freeway the better :)

My '96 K1500 Air conditioner didnt work when I turned it on the first time this year, so I popped the hood and sure enough the compressor wasn't even kicking on. Put a gauge on it, the low side was under 20 psi, so i grabbed a can of refrigerant and added started adding some of it, with a gauge on the high side. Low side pretty quickly got up to about 40 psi, dropping to about 15 psi when the compressor cycled on. The high side never got above 100 psi.

To me this reads as a bad compressor, but could also mean leaks on the high side possibly?

So I got a patio poured which is making me completely reroute my back sprinklers. The system is old, and I've fought with leaks the 5 years i've been here, so i'm planning on just completely redoing the back yard. I have 2 existing valve boxes, 1 feeds one of the backyard zones and the front zone west of the driveway, and the other feeds the front yard as well as the other zone in the back.

The only way to run line that makes sense is to have part of the first zone run in the same trench as the main line. Is this OK? I'm also not super happy with my zone 2 setup (sorry it's pink not green like the picture suggests), any tips there?

So I'm replacing a line that was leaking in one of my valve boxes, the issue im running in to is the leftmost junction shown here is about 4" above where my valves sit. This causes an awkward angle that, at this moment, is leaking (i also cut it a bit short, oops, gonna replace it with the proper length)

I've heard you can "gently" heat this stuff to bend it a bit. Can I do that or do i gotta add a couple 90s?
