Is anyone familiar with Dark Horse Factory, specifically for Hermes? I've looked through all the subs but there was no mentioning, and it was stated that different sellers/TSs call factories by different names.

Has anyone ever heard of Dark Horse Factory, and, if so, any items purchased from here?

I have a TS who is providing items sources from this factory, but couldn't find any reviews/information on this on all the subs.

Has anyone dealt with a seller that stated that they will not be able to exchange or swap an item from a different batch, as the factory only offers one batch at a time and will need to clear that whole inventory before moving onto the next?

Or, are the sellers that tell you they they are able to swap from different batches false?

This is regarding a supposedly a 'high- and top-tier' item...

Hello, everyone -

A longtime lurker here, and I finally decided to take a plunge in purchasing a couple of items after I checked out the authentic ones at a department store - I thought I did my due diligence in researching, but I guess it wasn't thorough enough!

Just wanted to share my experience with the seller, 'Hannah' (8054) - there already has been several posts about her lately, and I am so glad that I was able to take action right away before I lost $$$ -

I wanted to purchase the BV Mini Andiamo and a BV's Intrecciato bi-fold wallet - 'Hannah' was extremely pushy and wanted to 'create an invoice' after each question that was asked (possibly a red flag #1) -

'Hannah' first quoted me at $529 for both items ($390 for the Andiamo, and $139 for the wallet), then went down to $504, then down to $450 (possibly a red flag #2?) - I then realized that she was pricing it higher than other comparative sellers, but was trying to 'convince' me that others may offer low- or mid-tier, others are not trustworthy, guaranteeing that the items that will be sent are top-tier, etc.

The stock photos shared were the usual; stated that the pricing would include shipping and insurance, and would provide a refund if the package was seized; also the usual spiel about sending PSPs, could request from a different batch if not satisfied, etc. -

After the requested 'screenshot' of the payment bank transfer was sent, all communication seized (red flag #3) - prior to the payment, 'Hannah' was pretty responsive -

This is where I started freaking out and then began looking up recent reviews/experiences with this individual - this is when I saw all the posts mentioning how buyers were scammed...

Unfortunately, I fell for paying via the PayPal Friends & Family 'trick', knowing afterwards that the scammer would be able to 'get away with it', especially being it a bank transfer and not through a debit/credit (the service charges were higher by using a card...)

Fortunately, I was able to contact the bank right away, put a hold, block PayPal from obtaining any/all funds, block the email/name that was provided by 'Hannah', the exact amount to flag, and change and transfer all monies to a new account.

I also blocked and reported 'Hannah' on WA.

Lesson learned! Please try to find an alternative to paying Friends & Family via PayPal - offer to pay for the fees so you can at least be protected under PayPal's policy if you do end up getting scammed and choose this form of payment option!

I hope this helps anyone out there - be safe!
