I need your help... I'm transition from media sales (publisher side) to brand marketing

Hey Everyone,

I've been in media sales/strategy for the last decade, and I want to switch to brand marketing.

I'm starting by offering free services to small business to work on their instagram brand and growth strategy, so I can create a client portfolio and work with meta ads.

I created an intake form and I want to get your feedback on everything.

Sales director trying to break into brand marketing, how did you make the jump?

Hey all,

As the title says. I've spent my entire career in media and advertising sales on the publisher side. I've always loved marketing it's what genuinely interests me but somewhere along the way I just kept doing what paid me.

Now I'm trying to get over to the brand side in a marketing capacity and having a heck of a time. I figured Brand Partnerships would be a natural bridge role given my background, but I can't even land an interview (granted, there haven't been many roles posted).

For those of you who made a similar move or who hire on the brand side how would you approach this? I'm trying to figure out how to leverage 10+ years of commercial and campaign experience instead of having it read as "just a sales guy."

Would love to connect on LinkedIn with anyone working in brand marketing drop your profile or DM me, I'd genuinely appreciate the chance to learn from people already doing what I'm trying to break into.

Appreciate any insight.

Nail Salon: What do you think of my "4 pillars of content" strategy

Hey Guys,

Establishing a clients brand identity, and these are the 4 pillars of content I am advising fort a small nail salon.

Thoughts?

The Work - Nail photos, designs, before & after, seasonal styles

The Experience - Behind the scenes, team, salon atmosphere

The Client - Testimonials, reactions, user-generated content

Education - Nail care tips, trends, how-to content

Prozac and Wellbutrin with occasional beer drinking.....

Hey Team,

I just started taking Wellbutrin on top of my Prozac (40MG prozac + 100 Wellbutrin) and I have a healthy night out drinking for sporting events.

Wondering if that is putting me at risk for anything, or if anybody has this combination and is able to drink beers/cocktails just fine without any negative side effects.

(B2C) How do you build out buyer persona forms for new small business clients?

I'm structuring an "intake form" establishing buyer persona, brand voice, visually identity and content pillars in the first month and I want to do it without completely overwhelming the client.

What are some of the CORE QUESTIONS you guys are asking the client to profile and map these things out?

So far the basics:

Age Range
Location
Income

Relationship/Family

What they value most

What they aspire to be

What they want to avoid

How they see themselves

weekend behavior

Brands they already love

what kind of post would make them stop scrolling

engagement style

Why she chooses YOU

Exactly what is it? Can we make our own? Tons of questions and hoping we can get to a working solution here.

How I destroyed my hair system in one month with this hair care stack........

Hey Fellas,

I've been wearing for over a year now, and recently switch to the M104 from SUPERHAIR and got comfortable using leaving Bambu Silicon in my hair after the shower as a "leave in conditioner".....

Long story short I THINK this caused my hair system to get a huge bald spot from loosening the knots.

SO HERE'S MY NEW STACK AND PROCESS... Any feedback is welcomed and I'll update you on how things go.

  1. IF I AM AT THE GYM (which is almost daily) I use TRESemme silky and smooth conditioner to rinse hair (I dont scrub)

  2. For my daily leave in conditioner I switched to Marc Anthony "grow long" leave in conditioner that I generally put in after I shower

  3. Every other day I have a spray bottle mixed with OGX argon oil & water

  4. I replace the tape on my system weekly so I do the Bambu silicon and RINSE IT after 3 minutes and let dry and to re-apply the system

ANY FEEDBACK ON WHAT YOU USE OF IF YOU THINK I COULD DO BETTER LET ME KNOW!

Hey Group,

I have been noticing an insane amount of shedding and wanted to list off my process and "stack" I use.

  1. I normally work out so not at least rinsing my hair after before bed is required ( I DO LAY DOWN ON MY PILLOW FRESH AFTER SHOWER which I think could be a potential cause to loosening of the knots but not positive).

  2. I leave in Silicon Mix Bambu hair treatment every other day after the shower

  3. I also use OGX argon oil treatment on top of that on weekends to lock in moisture.

What do you think could be causing all the shedding. Perhaps im thinking not doing the Bambu treatment leave in... And just use a different leave in conditioner.

▲ 3 r/ADHD

I recently have been diagnosed with mild ADD, and I also have pretty bad anxiety.

I'm reaching out to see if anybody has this combination, and what medication interactions I need to be aware of so I get the right combination.

I was also wondering if there was an off label medication, that can help me with anxiety and ADHD at the same time.

I'm fairly new to this, and having the discussion with my doctor, however I want to get real life experiences with this exact issue. Thanks team!
