Anyone know of any FFLs in NoVA that buy suppressors? I have a new-ish IDG Hesychia SixK hub that I originally bought for a SOLGW MK1 but I decided to sell the MK1 and have no use for the SixK, and have plenty of other suppressors for my rifles. Chalk it up to impulse purchasing.
Is there a mod that lets you start a fresh game but start off as Starborn? Maybe I'm blind but I'm not finding anything.
Does anyone know of any reputable shops in the Northern VA area that does vehicle frame and underbody coating and repair? I'm buying an older Toyota Tacoma that needs some minor frame rust repair and get the frame coated for rustproofing. Nothing crazy just a few rust spots that need repair then do a full frame coating.
Anyone do a switch from the Instinct 2 tactical to the 3 tactical? I've had my 2 Tac for a couple of years and it works fine, but man I do like the looks and lack of obvious solar panel on the 3. MIP display seems to be improved as well.
I've been doing some research online and can't find a definite answer. I have a new B14 HMR in .308 that I plan on using as a hunting rifle as well as something I can take to a range with some distance and hit steel at 1000 yards. I don't mind the brown speckled stock but I'm not a big fan of it. I like the Magpul chassis for my Ruger 10/22 and like to get one for the HMR as it has a Remington 700 pattern action. Has anyone swapped their HMR into a Magpul chassis and had success?
G48, bought for myself on my birthday back in May. Got it set up how I want it and have about 1k rounds on it so far. So the Tenicor Velo Lux and mag carrier it’s my favorite carry gun I’ve had in a long time. However… I very much despise the trigger. I even did the G42 smooth shoe swap and it helps but after having so many Gen5’s I’m used to a rolling break. The stiff wall on the 43x/48 sucks. I don’t have the time to do the polish job so I’m looking for a drop in solution. I want something smooth, 4.5-5lb pull and something of a rolling break rather than a stiff wall. Suggestions?
Question for anyone who works for PSA. What BCG is H&R using particularly for the M16A2 series that looks phosphate? It has the appearance of phosphate but seems slicker, I dunno if it's Microbest or Toolcraft or another company.
2026 Woodland, the driver door area has wind noise while driving since new. It gets really bad at highway speeds of 65+. I've seen where some people had this issue, but I'm looking to see if anyone found a fix for this yet before I go to the dealership and tell me it's "normal".
I did the 1.0.0.48 update a couple days ago and had been at work until today. Now all of the sudden, Swarm II won't work at all, it acts like it's launching but it freezes on the main screen which is mostly blank. I can't right click and close from the taskbar and have to force close it via Task Manager, and it uses a LOT of CPU resources while it's frozen. I tried uninstalling it, and upon reinstalling it the app works but it won't let me add my SP2's until it does some other random update, which is also 1.0.0.48 for some reason. Upon trying to do that update, I'm right back where I started. So needless to say, I can't do anything with my SP2's on PC while this garbage app is broken. And here I was thinking Logitech and Corsair's apps sucked, TB takes the cake for that.
Turtle Beach... fix your app. For how much I spent on these damn headphones, not having a working app to use them with is inexcusable. And no I'm not installing the iOS app, I shouldn't have to do a work-around for something so basic as a PC headphone app.
Building out my AP5 and I'm researching parts, specifically the handguard and optic mount. I've narrowed it down to two choices:
-Midwest Industries handguard with UTG Pro claw mount
-UTG Pro monolithic system
Between these two, which one would you all recommend? Also for anyone with either of these, how are you running your light switches? I'll be using a Modlite with the Modbutton.
I currently have 15 or so NFA items that were all filed Individual and I finally got a Trust a little while ago. Because I'd like my wife and kids to eventually get this stuff in the event I pass unexpectedly, I want to refile this into my Trust. It's my understanding that the eForm system now allows this process and I don't have to do paper. My question is can I refile everything at once or would I have to do 15 submissions to get everything moved over?
Looking to get a 1913 for my AP5 Navy fullsize and the main options I see are the HKP, Jmac and Midwest Industries. The OEM cap and the SB folding brace caps are both nice and tight on my AP5 so I don't want anything that's going to have any play or wobble. What's the consensus?
A short time ago I posted about when I got my H&R M16A2 clone and the poor quality it was. A PSA rep here (sorry I forgot who it was) hooked me up and the following day I got a warranty approval and the rifle was sent off. About a week later I got an email from the warranty guy at PSA and explained the purpose of the H&R line is to have replicas of issued military service rifles which also includes the imperfections in the forging flashes and whatnot. He agreed that the upper wasn't quite as nice as it could be and agreed to replace the whole upper and zero it.
I got the rifle back yesterday since they didn't replace the lower so no FFL needed. The new upper looks and fits better, and the forge flashing is about even on both the upper and lower. The front sight seems more straight than the old upper. Overall now I'm happy with the rifle and can't wait to shoot it. I appreciate PSA taking care of me and explaining why the H&R rifles look the way they do in a professional manner. Pic of the rifle attached, had to use a black mag since for some reason I can't find the gray mag that it came with.
The trio is complete. Finally had a chance to get my 19 and 48 zeroed this morning, what an ordeal as I've never done it on my own before, my duty gun has an Acro and it was already GTG from Glock. Now I have my pocket carry, summer carry and winter carry guns set up. Side note... Yes that is a longer HLX head on the 48 and it works fine, and I also did the smooth trigger shoe mod from a spare 42 trigger assembly, I hated the serrated shoe.

Just picked this up as a companion rifle to the PSA AK-103 I got last month which has been great other than it being picky on mag fitment, everything is well built and aligned properly. Having US and Russian "clone" rifles in my inventory was a great idea at the time. I was in a rush at the gun shop during my lunch break and upon getting it home after work, I thought I had gotten a counterfeit rifle. The build quality on this M16A2 is absolutely piss poor, both the upper and lower have terrible forge flashing marks that were half-assed and there are even gouge marks on the upper. The lower has bad flashing but the front of the receiver wasn't even machined properly, it's rounded on one side and squared off on the other. The rear sight assembly is loose and clocked where it won't sit straight, I have another JSE A2 upper that is properly installed so I know this one isn't right. The front sight is canted as well. For a $1300 rifle since I wanted the FN barrel, I'm pretty pissed. This is worse than a blem rifle even for PSA standards. I've already made a warranty request, we'll see how that goes.
Got a brand new AK103 from PSA and it came with their PSAK-30 gen 2 mag. The mag is super loose, has a lot of side to side and back and forth movement even with some dummy rounds in it. I did buy a Magpul MOE AK mag (not the gen 3) and it's much better, the only movement is a slight bit of up and down in the rear where it locks in, otherwise it's snug. I've seen great things about the PSAK gen 2 mags and even some that say sanding down is needed, mine is clearly the opposite.
Before I spend more money trying different mags, do you think it's just this mag or could it be a gun issue? I tried attaching pics with the video but it only allowed me to add one video.
Question. SOLGW 8.5 300blk barrel with a 8" M89 handguard, only a little bit of PP sticks out and I don't have an adapter that works with this setup. What recommendations do you all have for a muzzle device/HUB mount or direct thread mount that works with something like this? Can't find the 7.75" L89 handguards anywhere and I'm using a Broadsword upper, so I'm stuck with this handguard and need to make it work.
Hey folks, new here but a collector of some suppressors and SBRs. I currently own a few OCL cans (Polo, Polo K, Polo 30, Lithium and Titanium) as well as a SiCo Spectre 9 for my G45 and an Irregular Design Hesychia SixK. I recently purchased a Bergara B14 HMR in .308 which has a 20" barrel and heavy AF at 9.5 lbs by itself and plan to use the rifle for hunting and precision shooting at distance.
I'm looking for a viable suppressor to use with it that'll be dedicated to the B14, whether direct thread or hub mounted. I'd like something lightweight but also short. I've been eyeing the OCL Hydrogen K or the YHM Resonator K, I don't need it to be super quiet but effective enough to take the edge off the shot without hearing protection. Any suggestions or options are appreciated.
