Looks better "in person" but I strongly dislike the omission of a driver's display. Specs are disappointing; was hoping it would have the range of the Escalade IQ.

Highlights:

• next gen eMP platform
• It has a frunk!
• No driver's display b/c it has a 25-inch HUD instead
• 310 mile range with 350kW charging speed, 10-80% in 22 minutes
• the center touchscreen display is power retractable with different vertical extensions for driving/watching movies
• 25 speaker Bang & Olufsen audio system
• Length: 207 inches, Width: 79.9 inches
• Price: not available yet but probably $100-150k
• First Edition has a heated wooden 2nd row floor; heated/cooled 2nd row cupholders; 2nd row refrigerator; heated/cooled 2nd row seats with tray tables; electrochromic sunroof; power running boards, built-in 2nd row cameras for videoconferencing

I love the new muscular look. I'm still on the fence about the Tesla-esque interior. It's ~ 2.3 inches longer than the current generation.

There are also rumors of a more powerful, performance hybrid N model. Yes, they're bringing back the N-Line!

The upcoming hybrid gets a big boost in power (347 hp, 391 lb-ft torque) which is almost on par with the 3.5T's numbers, but the fuel economy is only 25% better and its acceleration is strangely slower than both the gas 2.5T and the Telluride/Palisade hybrids.

• Fuel economy is 25% better for 2.5T 2WD models with 19" wheels, unclear how much better for AWD models. If we assume the same percentage increase for AWD, that's only 24/30 city/highway, which is worse than the 3-row Telluride/Palisade hybrids (30/32 and 29/31).
• 0-100km/hr acceleration is 7.1 seconds, which is worse than the gas 2.5T (6.5 seconds) and the 3-row Telluride/Palisade hybrids (6.4-6.6 seconds).
  • 0-100 km/hr is ~ 0 to 62mph so hoping the 0-60 time is actually 6.9 seconds.
• New interior color (see attached) Obsidian Black with Taiga Green looks strange. Hopefully Ultramarine Blue with Travertine Beige looks better.
• Is the GV80 Hybrid significantly heavier than the Telluride/Palisade hybrids? That would be my only explanation for the slower acceleration and worse fuel economy.
  • It uses a different hybrid setup than the Telluride/Palisade b/c of a longitudinally mounted engine with a hybrid system tailored for rear-wheel drive, and new 7-speed A/T.

• Range: ~ 298-312 miles (EPA cycle, estimated)
• Curb weight: 6680 lbs

Range is disappointing for a 115kWh usable battery. On the other hand, maybe it's not that bad if it's so heavy and has 22- and 24-inch wheels.

I thought his magic act and presentation were phenomenal. Both Mel and Emma seemed very impressed.

How did he get the walnut inside the egg? It seemed very unlikely that he could have "forced" the outcome, or at least it wasn't apparently obvious to me.

What should Nene play in her next rounds?  Song choice will be important!

While I think she could absolutely sing Skyfall or Back to Black, because this season is so singer heavy, she should stick to rock/pop songs that will also showcase her incredible guitar skills.  No other contestant can sing and shred like she does.

For Lives/Quarterfinals, I think she should play:

- Creep by Radiohead, or
- Don't Look Back in Anger by Oasis, or
- Boulevard of Broken Dreams by Green Day

They're slower tempo and allow her vocals to shine but also have killer guitar solos.  My preference is for Creep or Green Day.   Would love her to play Mr. Brightside by The Killers but she's never covered them before to my knowledge.

For Semifinals, I think she should play:

- Bohemian Rhapsody by Queen, or
- Sweet Child O' Mine by Guns n' Roses

Iconic rock songs and they would help her with audience engagement.  Her voice is similar to Axl Rose's.

For Finals, I think she should NOT play her original song Real Verse (so that she can maintain complete control over her own work in the future) and instead play:

- Beat It by Michael Jackson

(Would love if she played In the End by Linkin Park but MJ has broader appeal)

- I'm annoyed they released it early! I think waiting until Tuesday night would have built up more expectations.

- She completely adapted Hysteria and made it her own cover by a) changing the key, b) adding a separate guitar solo shred/sound check that segued into the song, and c) played the bass line while singing, WOW

- If you listen to past covers of Hysteria that she and her band Ozone did, it's completely different.

- She changed her singing accent to be more "American" with a flatter pronunciation.

- Her vocals were very strong and honestly sounded better than even recent busking performances back in Phuket. I totally think she could properly sing Skyfall.

*Howie looks great for 70!

Not financial advice, do your own research.

I like the stock but don't want to buy at these levels. Also expecting further downside in related stocks like IREN (heading to < $20) and HUT.

The main issues, imo, are macro. While today's broad market rally was impressive, the DXY still has much higher to go. I'm expecting Nasdaq, Bitcoin to drop much further and oil to go significantly higher.

Will circle back in a few months.

Confirmation of the PLEOS system but more interestingly it has both an electronic shifter (circled in red) *and* a traditional shifter (also circled in red). The start/stop button might have been located to under the touchscreen (boxed in white) along with possible additional buttons in a strip below the PLEOS system.

The "additional buttons" could also be test equipment for the mule but I'm not seeing the start/stop button anywhere else.

Some changes:

- new wheel designs for 2.5L Select and Advanced to distinguish from the base trim

- 2.5L Select gets a heated steering wheel

- Bering Blue added to the top 3.5L trim

- Some color differences

It seems we won't be getting the EREV version until model year 2028 unfortunately

Yank here. Subscribed to BritBox via Amazon Prime, and got hooked on Blue Lights then Trigger Point. To my consternation, Prime's BritBox only has the first three episodes of Series 3 available for viewing!

Anyone know why?
