i love athena as a character. but the way the writers keep throwing her into these once in a lifetime situations and saving the say, every single time, is getting kind of annoying imo. between the ship capsizing, landing the damaged plane and now getting them back to earth from space. come on now.

i'm a very anti-social person. i'm nice but prefer to keep to myself and hate small talk. i have to mentally prepare myself every time i go to scooters. i don't want a stranger asking me what my plans are for the day. i just want to get my drink and be on my merry way. i appreciate all the kindness i get from the baristas but it's also sometimes overwhelming.

i’ve only done 14 orders. all have been leave at door. i haven’t knocked on anyone’s door. am i doing it wrong?

anyone come up with any new strategies for making money during this terrible summer slow down? i'm not one to usually take low item count - low mileage - low tip, orders but i figured since that's all they have been sending me, maybe if i can pump out a few of those during slow days it will add up.

i just look at those orders as not even worth the effort of getting out of the car. i'm always scared i'll miss a high paying one. but since i'm literally sitting in my car for hours not getting anything good, i guess it's better then nothing?

it's unusually hot this summer here in minnesota. upper 90's all last week and this week. i have given up half way through the day because it's not only dead but it's too hot to be sitting in my car idling. there's really no where for me to go inside and wait. i live 25 minutes from the stores so i can't exactly go home and wait in-between orders either.

what do you guys do to stay cool when it's 90 degrees and hotter?
i'm dying out here and my poor car is tired lol

what the hell is going on!? i haven't gotten a single batch in two days! it's been a slow summer, but no batches at all? come on

i use to but i shop for the same customers every single week. it became redundant. now, even if they are new customers that i haven't shopped for before, i still don't send greetings. i message them with any updates that need to be made but that's about it. however i ALWAYS send an outro message when the drop off is completed. since i stopped doing the greetings, i don't get left as many nice comments as i use to. not sure if the two are related or not.

what does everyone else do?

chai is terrible now, which would be my usual combo and i didn't really like it in the caramel macchiato. any suggestions?

how was everyone else's day after the app outage?

i made a driver account months ago. never used it. so naturally, my car insurance on file expired. it won’t let me move on in the app until i submit a new photo of my insurance card. great, easy enough. i click the button to upload it and it’s a blank screen. nowhere to upload anything. i contact customer support. they had me submit a photo via email and they will get back to me in 48 hours. never happened. that’s a separate issue that i will have to deal with. my main complaint is this. they also ask to verify your identity every freakin 5 minutes it seems. well, i was extra irritated at this point. so i’m not looking too hot. hairs a mess, not smiling. i look miserable. THEY MADE THAT PHOTO MY PROFILE PHOTO AND NOW IT’S SAYING I CANT CHANGE IT UNTIL 09/2026!!!! does anyone know how to change it or if support will allow me to change it? i look drunk or high. i dont want customers seeing this photo. it’s terrible 😣.

i'm meeting with a dietitian and weight loss team next week. my insurance covers the wegovy pill but needs prior authorization, which my doctor will do once they meet with me. i'm very nervous they will deny me. this is my last resort and have put so much hope into getting on the drug. i'm female with a bmi of 31. i'm also pre-diabetic.

anyone get denied? did you appeal? also, for those who were approved, do you have any other health conditions (no need to specify) that helped you get approved?
