In the EPS and Illustrator file, this badge looks as it should yet when I place it, this section of text is cut off. Anyone know what the deal is?

My cat suddenly very anxious?

I’ve had him for almost seven years, since he was 6 months. He’s very vocal, friendly, outgoing, loving - people constantly compare him to a dog. Other than hissing at my other kitty when they play too hard, he’s only ever hissed once at a bee. Out of nowhere the other day, he’s started acting super anxious. Jumping at an unexpected movement or touch (which I know can be normal for some cats but NEVER has been for him). He’s been staring under my couch a lot but there’s nothing under there but toys and sometime my other kitty. Today, I picked him up (which he usually doesn’t care either way), and he started scrambling, scratched me and hissed.

Other than being quick to spook, he’s seems COMPLETELY normal. He’s been cuddling and sleeping on my lap. Eating and drinking as usual. No firm bladder. No pain anywhere else as far as I can tell from feeling his entire body (multiple times). Still vocal for no reason. Still watching the birds and lounging and doing the big stretches. Still sleeping on me. Absolutely zero changes except for spooking more easily, when he normally is the most laid-back dude.

Things that could possibly be important?? He has asthma. He has one eye (idk, just wanted to mention in case). Within the last week I got a Litter Robot 4 (first we’ve ever had, but so far it’s just set up to get them comfy and there’s no pressure to use it, still have their original boxes out). I also moved my couch to switch the L from one end to the other. And, about a month/month and a half ago, he and my other kitty were playing super hard late at night and I was in bed so I didn’t see what happened, but suddenly he meowed really weird and was kind of… splooted on the floor? and then went nonverbal. I freaked out (I had a family cat with a seizure disorder and this little guy is my soul cat) and rushed him to the emergency vet, they rushed him back on the worry it was neurological but found nothing wrong and by the time they finished their evaluation, he was fully back to normal, meowing at them and being social as normal. And has been completely normal since until maybe two, max three, days ago.

I’m really leaning towards setting up a vet appointment but I have OCD and I’m always scared I’m overreacting. Please, I don’t know what to do and I’m scared.

Best way to maintain this look without using a white fill?

hello! Basically the title. I want to keep this look of receding outlines with decreasing stroke size, but for the shapes to not need a fill (which currently is hiding the overlapping strokes of the rest of the letters). This will be on a shirt so I don’t want the fill/white printed onto whatever fabric I use and I don’t want to try to have to match the fill to whatever color the fabric ends up as.

I’ve played around a little (shape builder, pathfinder > divide, masks) but I’m no Illustrator pro. The biggest problem I keep running into is losing the variation of the stroke sizes.

I’m sorry if this doesn’t make sense I’m happy to answer any questions!!

how do I go about rewiring this lamp (or fixing the pins inside)? is it possible?

repost bc I forgot to add pictures :/

I thrifted this funky little sculpture lamp. one of the pins inside was pushed down and when trying to put a bulb in it, it doesn’t align and won’t turn on. it’s not a huge loss if I can’t, it just really fits the funky eclectic art vibes in my place and I love it.

is it even possible? whoever made it connected a USB port but I don’t really care about that. any advice would be greatly appreciated, thank you!!!

Current comparison for the LR4 vs LR5?

hello! I have two cats and I’m trying to decide which model to buy. Most of the reviews and comparisons I’ve found are from right around the release of the LR5 and I’ve heard it was rolled out with some bugs, so I was wondering if anything has changed and if so, what the current thoughts are? Thank you all!

is it really that weird that I have a male OB?

honestly I didn’t really think about it at first. I had a female OB for a while and she never really listened to me about how painful some stuff was. then my past GP (male) did a pap smear and was very gentle and waited until I was comfortable. I moved recently and needed a new OB and didn’t put much thought into it but he ended up being a man and I’ve heard some judgement about male OBs. but he has been more respectful, kind, gentle, and understanding than my last OB and has fully let me lead our appointments. I do sometimes wonder why a man would go into that field, but at the same time I appreciate that a man also can’t downplay something because of their own potential experiences as a woman might.

anyway. idk. my coworkers made a joke about it (hypothetically) and it has me questioning. I’ve never received better care though, I think. plus obviously there’s always a woman (at least one) in the room and it’s a very friendly/jovial environment.

At work on personal device using work’s public wifi - can they see what I (or others) are doing?

I work for a big company, very public involved with people coming in and out all day, surely signing onto the same public (no password) wifi, doing god knows what. I however work here, so I’m a little more cautious. Can anyone see what I’m doing on my personal devices while logged into their public wifi?

edit thanks y'all! i'm not doing anything weird i'm just a very anxious (and curious) person and i'm stuck in a lull of having zero work to do. i just want to do the crossword and scroll reddit or read a book online without constantly tripping that someone's gonna come yell at me

missed connection: Sheetz on Avl highway 6/5

i got a monster energy drink and you decided that was the right choice for you too. i forgot my card so i went out to my car to grab it and you paid for my drink while i stepped out. i definitely regretted not getting your number. you drive a tahoe or an explorer or some other big SUV (im not a car person), wore clothes that made it appear you would be working outside or in construction, and you had an earring. if you see this, hi :) what color monster did we twin on? i’d love to give you my number

How do y'all solve Colordle?

other than going down the list of colors and picking similar ones... what actual skill helps you solve it? I understand how hex codes work but inputting similar ones usually only gets me in the 97-99% range.

I'm struggling with my relationship to alcohol right now and have always found solace in books. I have a list of some nonfiction books already but I would really like to find some fiction as well. More specifically the negatives around alcohol abuse. Thank you so much
