This might be a stupid question but!

I primarily play PvE games. I am not a huge PvP guy. However, I understand that Warhammer Online / RoR are focused to an extent ON PvP based stuff. Just how much PvE content can a person engage in? Are there things a PvE player can do to help RvR and the like?

I never really tried Warhammer Online when I was younger, so I am curious just how it handles the world of Warhammer, but at the same time I am a carebear. What can I say, I dont react quickly enough to really engage with PvP lol

Cant load my Digital / Virtual Copy of ACNH on my Switch 2?

SOLVED: turns out the DLC is on one acct and the base game on another, I forgot this was the case since I had purchased both years ago before virtual cards and the Switch 2 were even a thing.

Go figure.

So I have had ACNH on my Switch Lite for a long time, and recently got a Switch 2. I went to play it and it wants me to repurchase it.

But it also says I have the virtual game card loaded on the Switch 2.

I am signed into the right profile, I tried unloading and reloading the virtual card, and nothing will let me play the game. Every time I try to access it, it just says to go to the EShop and asks me to buy it. I made sure the virtual card is not loaded on my Switch Lite either.

What is going on? I would normally call Nintendo for help but they are closed today. Is it because I don't have the Nintendo Switch 2 Upgrade purchased? I didnt think that was required to play the game on my Switch 2.

EDIT I think some of you are misunderstanding something

    1. The two switches are linked together, I went through that process already.
    1. I dont want to copy my saved game, I actually want to make a new island
    1. If I load the virtual card on the Switch 2, it SAYS its loaded on the system, then acts like its not and wants me to purchase it
    1. I can unload the virtual card on my Switch Lite, but still play the game
    1. I tried downloading the full ACNH game off the Eshop with my account on to the Switch 2, and still have this issue.

Basically no matter what I do I cannot get ACNH to load on my Switch 2 despite doing everything. I even went so far as to use my 1 time per year unlink to remove my Switch Lite, and relinked the two consoles fresh today.

The ONLY thing I do not own is the Switch 2 Upgrade DLC for $5 which, from everything I have seen, is not required. Unless its now required.

Has anyone come up with a build with 1 attack, and everything else is either passive or a proc?

I have this dumb idea where all you do is push one button, and watch the screen light up with effects, explosions, summons, the works. A true "default attack" proc build where you literally only have 1 active skill.

Has ANYONE done anything this dumb yet amazing?

Looking for URBAN FANTASY games

Examples include

  • Vampire the Masquerade Bloodlines 1 and 2
  • Unavowed by Wadjet Eye Games

I dont care what Genre, I dont care if its NSFW or not. What I want are engrossing stories set in a modern setting with supernatural elements.

Frankly its nigh impossible to find these damn games. Everything I find is either set in a more historic period (like the Thaumaturge or Vampyr) or full on medieval.

I am playing the Thaumaturge right now for example

Tips / Guides for setting up Party AI in Pillars 2?

So when I first played Pillars 2 ages ago I did it in turn based mode, but this time (After I finish this Pillars 1 save / run) I intend to run it in Real Time mode, and I understand I can actually adjust / program (to an extent) my party automation and AI unlike Pillars 1.

Thing is, I am not sure just how customizable / in depth this is? Are there any guides for setting up your chosen characters well so they can work independantly (mostly) from the player?

I mostly just wanna focus on my MC (who is going to be a Barbarian SOMETHING multiclass, with a mod that gives me full class progression on both sides) and let my party do their job as if they were not brain dead morons.

Cause right now, Aloth casting Confuse over and over during fights in Pillars 1 can drive me a BIT bonkers even if it helps make fights manageable.

Also side thing, any suggestions of fun Barb multiclass setups? I got 1 suggestion from a previous thread of mine of doing Furyshaper / Soul Blade which sounds hilarious but I am open to other ideas.

Looking for a Spoiler Free "Path" thru Pillars 1 with all DLC included?

So basically I am trying to figure what order I should be doing things, and when I should do certain things. I have never actually played all the way through Pillars 1 so I am unsure when to tackle certain things or areas or side quests. I found this Reddit - https://i.redd.it/drb82izh7rp41.png but I dont actually know when the Acts end? So it saying "Finish Act 1" for example leaves me going....but when is that what is that?

Any guidance would be most appreciated!

How is the Temple of Elemental Evil Remaster?

I keep eyeing it cause I never really played the OG version too much, and something that is a bit more stable / built for 1080p could be a much easier thing to get into.

How good of a remaster is it? Its on sale right now for a few bucks off on Steam and I am kinda wanting to try some classic 3rd Ed DND nonsense.

PoE 2: Trying to pick a class / build (2nd Run)

Back in 2020 I played PoE2 and beat it as a Ranger/Chanter Summoner styled build, and had a blast. I am wanting to play again but I am not sure what to play.

I kinda wanna do something melee. I am looking for suggestions for any build really, with some tips on what to take for talents / skills etc.

There are just too many interesting choices so I am pretty much open to anything other then a basic fighter or something. I want SOME sauce to this.

Looking for a Neverwinter Nights EE Build that is BASICALLY an Auto Attack build

I got all the "DLC" and I wanted to take a character through the OG Campaign and into "Doom of Icewind Dale", and also do something for Shadows into Undermountain.

But the thing is, I want something that is, frankly, braindead. A couple buttons or actions to press but generally just let my dude bonk and win.

I havent build 3rd Ed characters in many years (since High school when I played 3rd Ed on the table, and when NWN was New lol) so I am not really sure what to do here.

I am open to anything. I dont have any mods or anything installed, so its just the vanilla game. Hit me with builds / guides if you got em.

I appreciate it!

So I have roughly 400+ hours in Fallout 4 and while I love the mechanics of the game I find the story to be incredibly boring, and the world space holds few secrets now.

I have tried a few alternate start mods, I have tried the Fusion City Rising series to get around the terrible storyline, and recently tried Fallout London (which I bounced off of due to being a more melee heavy mod, I like guns what can I say).

I am wondering if there are any good total conversion styled mods or even new worldspace ones out there for FO4. Its been quite a while since I went digging and have lost track of the status of the few like Cascadia I was aware of, and when I try searching I just find incomplete stuff.

Or are there no mods like Fallout London for FO4 right now. Hell I would take something akin to Long 15 (for New Vegas).

In my search for interesting solo game options I ran across this and was very intrigued. The idea of a game where the miniatures can be used for a standard Skirmish Wargame, or a Solo Skirmish Wargame, OR A dungeon Crawling board game was fascinating, on top of the actual design / theme of the entire world they are building.

I am curious if anyone here has this, has tried it (any of the variants), and could give me there thoughts? If you have a youtube video or written article toss that at me too. I want to research this a bit because its price (for the board game version) is a bit high for me, but if I like it I am willing to invest in it.

So I got Final Girl on the way, and I own League of Dungeoneers (the whole thing, all expansions) and while I want to play League, its size and complexity kind of make me want to start with something smaller.

I have heard good things about stuff like the Mage Knight board game, for instance, and a few others.

What I am after are solo board games that feel like a dungeon crawl, a hero going on missions or scenarios, and advancing in strength. I would also like them to be a bit "small" on table size, stuff that can fit in a 3ft by 3ft area preferrably (another thing I realized with League of Dungeoneers is how large of a space it can take up)

I am familiar with Tabletop RPGs both solo and not so rules complexity is not really a worry for me, and I also play Miniature Wargames so I am used to painting minis as well for what its worth.

So my first real adventure game a couple years ago was Unavowed, and I loved every second of it. I recently played Kathy Rain 1 and 2 and loved those (and really want a 3rd now, I need to see how Kathy has grown!)

I am going to try Syberia (since I have all 4 games) but I was wondering if there were more "Urban Fantasy" styled adventure games out there. Stuff that takes place in a semi modern (like the 1980s and up) world, dealing with mystical weirdness, old gods, and that sort of thing alongside the mystery and adventure.

I am not super familiar with the genre if I am being honest. I mean outside of Myst / Riven and now these newer ones. I have also already played the Blackwell series and Old Skies, and Lamplight City as well, all of which I loved.
