Picked up this 1986 Virago XV700 from a scrap pile for my first bike. Any advice? Doing a full rebuild

I got the engine out and I’m planning to take it apart and rebuild it ground up. New wiring, new cluster, rebuilt engine. Seams self explanatory (I’ve worked on cars, never bikes)

Anything I should be aware of before, during, and after?

I’m not crazy right? There was a red spot over the “of”?

It’s not there now and I immediately posted this from that comment

2011 Chevy Silverado 5.3. Opinions on Dorman OE and Detroit Axle?

I’m planning to redo all suspension on my truck as it could be done (not needed ASAP but definitely something I’d like to get done).
I’m on a very tight budget and I noticed these brands are extremely cheaper. But I figured they are cheaper for a reason.
My budget isn’t going to be growing anytime soon so waiting won’t help, but again it doesn’t need done. It’s all rusty but as far as I can see it’s just surface rust but it’s also all factory except for CV axles

Would these be from a deadbolt? And if so why would it be on the outside of the door?

Just bought a house for a steal that had been listed for a year. (3 bed 1 bath with a halfassed renovation and all appliances but still technically renovated)
Neighbors told me that the 2 people who renovated it ended up squatting in it for a few months. Which means they would’ve taken out whatever this was after they renovated it

The squatters were removed by a full team of US Marshals (I don’t know much about squatting but that seams overkill)

And a few rooms (basement, bathroom, and master bedroom) have deadlocks but on the outside going in almost like locking someone in.

Makes no difference in the end but still something I find odd

2011 Chevy Silverado 5.3 bad shake. CV Axle?

It’s had a bad shake for a few weeks now. (Replaced tires and rims and had an alignment) I’ve talked to a few people and they think CV axle. I’ve eyeballed the front suspension and everything looks ok and not rotted to hell

Is the Colorado a rebadged S10?

I mean, S10 stopped being made same time Colorado was made and it seams they started a redesign and just rebadged it for whatever reason. Idk was always curious about it and too lazy to do any extreme research so I figured who else to ask but you guys

2011 Chevy Silverado 1500 4x4. Bad suspension?

From 0-10 (rolling no gas) it has like a shake and from 55-65 it has a bad shake (nothing over 65 or under 55) and possibly a slight crunch at time when rolling forward at stop lights and stuff but could just be me running something over as I’ve only noticed it a few times and can’t recreate it
The boot only seams to be twisted, the inner tie rod seams sturdy and not super loose. Not sure if it’s that or something else I’m over looking.

I have a 2010 Chevy Silverado with a rusted out frame that I owe 7k on

Bought a used truck from a private seller and got a 10k loan. Turns out he put bondo over the (giant) hole along the driver side frame. I welded a shitty patch onto it and I’m going to do another one here soon but I can’t afford a new vehicle unless insurance pays the truck out. I will “anonymously” call my insurance company to ask but I’m not sure if they will despite having the highest plan.

Main reason I’m posting is for any advice. I can’t afford a new vehicle and without a vehicle I have no way to work (I live in the country so no bus routes or anything)

I can’t post pics but the frame is bad, only reason I am willing to drive it is the patch that’s pretty much a bandaid on a gunshot

(2011 Chevy Silverado 1500 5.3) brand new bulb burnt out?

Put this bulb (LED) in less than a month ago. I admittedly never checked after I did it so I’m not sure if it burnt out again or just the wiring harness went bad because license plate light is out and I noticed it at the same time

Just got an 86 Virago XV700. Should I convert to single carb?

I admittedly don’t know much about motorcycles. I know a lot about cars so I figure it’s something I can get into easy (and cheaper). It currently has no carbs at all, needs a battery, and needs a new ignition before I can (try to) start it. I know it cranks over because I tested it but other than that I don’t know much on it

2011 Silverado 5.3 just hit 160k miles. Any maintenance I should do?

I have already done transmission filter/ fluid change (not a flush) 10k miles ago, I’ve been on time with my oil changes so that’s good, AFM/DOD has been deleted (OBD plug in) since 130k miles unsure if previous owner had one so I’m assuming not, I’m probably going to replace spark plugs, wires, and coils soon. Other than that that’s all I can think of off top of my head

The day I bought my truck VS how she sits now

She’s my baby. Still needs work but nothing major, only real thing is she needs a new truck bed because this one is rusted bad.
Im Thinking about changing the headlights and grille at some point but not sure yet
