Kate complaining about not being able to do things because of her weight and then still not losing the weight is so goddamn annoying over the course of the show

I don’t care if this is controversial. It’s super fucking annoying, especially in the later seasons. Kate’s victim mentality is the most pathetic thing in the entire show. In the beginning, Kate seemed motivated to lose the weight and I was honestly actually pissed off at Toby for being an influence that caused her to backslide and go back to binge eating. But there was one point in season 2 (or maybe 3) where Kate was working out and eating really healthy while also being in a relationship and living with Toby and I think she even mentioned that she lost 14 pounds or something like that. And then she got pregnant and lost the baby and all that and then I guess nothing happened after that for her weight-wise. And don’t get me wrong, I can totally understand why Kate would go back to binge eating and being unhealthy after losing her baby because that is an extremely traumatic situation. But she also has to be aware of her own addiction and her own choices and not slam other people for bettering themselves.

I HATED when she got furious with Toby after she found out he was going to the gym. And don’t say it’s because Toby lied to her because she genuinely didn’t seem to give a shit that he lied to her, she was mainly pissed off that he was kinda jacked now and she was still fat. And I’m sorry but whose fault is that? Kate could have (and should have) gone to therapy and actually implemented ideas in her support group to help herself instead of just going there to have bonding time with Toby and be a bitch to Madison. And then when Toby is honest with her about why he is working out all the time, Kate takes it as a personal attack on her of course (Toby tells Kate that he had a heart attack at a young age and he doesn’t want to drop dead when Jack is a child and Kate basically makes it seem like Toby is implying that SHE’S going to drop dead instead like come on girl, not everything is about you and your weight).

And then for the rest of the show she just complains and complains about how she can’t do certain things because of her weight while also not even bothering to make an effort to lose the weight. And it’s not even that she can’t do it because she was doing pretty well before she got pregnant and lost the baby. It’s just really damn annoying to watch her bitch about her problems while never taking any actions to solve her problems (it kind of goes like that for all three of the kids tbh)

I hate how clannish the Pearson family is

It really bugs me how every member of the Pearson family backs up their sibling/parent’s actions even if their sibling or parent is totally in the wrong. The only time they don’t do that is if one of them is attacking them personally. Like for example, I just watched a scene where Kate and Toby are yelling at each other and Kevin is just standing there watching the whole time. Kate basically gets mad at Toby for yelling at her after she just yelled at him and Kevin is completely silent the entire time Kate is yelling at Toby, but the second Toby slightly raises his voice to Kate, Kevin steps up and says something and supports Kate even though Toby was literally just matching her energy. There was also another scene I watched a while back where Kate was ragging on Randall for essentially always choosing Beth and his children over the Pearson clan and I mean uh yeah? That’s what you’re supposed to do when you’re a grown man who’s married and has three children. You always choose your wife over your sister, I don’t even know why that needs to be said. I also hate how whenever one of the Pearsons has an argument with their spouse/partner, their family member always gets involved in it (typically either Rebecca or Kevin). Like seriously not everything has to be interrupted by your mother and your brother, arguments between a wife/husband should only be discussed between the wife and the husband. A mother shouldn’t have to step in there and willingly become involved unless they are asked to.

Beth’s mom is insufferable

Ugh I despise Beth’s mom. So she tells Beth that her father has cancer and when Beth starts tearing up, her mom’s first reaction is “wipe your damn tears and help me clear the table.” Like seriously? That’s not how you create strong kids, that’s how you create grieving kids who feel like they have to pretend to be strong and bury their real feelings so that they don’t disappoint their mother. Then, when her mom finds out that she got laid off from her job, her first reaction is selfish and all about herself, all she says is “ugh oh my god I can’t believe you’ve been lying to me for months.” Of course she doesn’t actually ask Beth how she’s feeling or what she’s going to do or anything like that. What a despicable woman.

I’m tired of my boyfriend being so sensitive all the time, what can I say to him? (22F and 23M)

I don’t mean for this to sound rude at all because I genuinely love my boyfriend so so much, like literally more than life itself. He’s 23 and I’m 22 and we’ve been together for over 2 years. For context, his parents are horrible people. His mom is extremely critical and narcissistic and his dad just lets her be cruel to him and never defends him, so I totally see where he’s coming from. However, I do think that sometimes he can be a little too defensive and sensitive about things. For example, earlier today he was late to his little sister’s volleyball game because he got off work late and his mom surprisingly wasn’t mad at him and actually understood. But then his little brother who’s only 13 told him that he’s a bad driver or something and was being a little rude to him and he then proceeded to call me and tell me word for word that he wanted to kill himself and he wanted to die simply because of his brother being kind of a dickhead to him.

Also, I think another reason why I get so annoyed with him being this way is my brother committed suicide three years ago and I have told my boyfriend numerous times how much I hate when he immediately defaults to saying “I want to unalive myself” whenever something is slightly annoying him, yet he still does it anyway. But I don’t want to keep bitching to him about it because if he really is feeling that way, I want him to know that I’m there for him and I don’t want him to think that he can’t tell me just because I don’t like it. I don’t know, I just really hate how he overreacts like that for things that really aren’t that bad, I mean his little brother is a 13 year old who is obviously just being a dumb kid, there’s no need for him to say that he wants to die because his 13 year old brother is being slightly mean.

Do you think Randall would have had it better or worse if William had been a part of his life growing up?

I know that a big plot point of season 1 was how regretful Rebecca and Randall were about Rebecca’s decision to keep William’s identity from Randall as a child, but I honestly don’t know if Randall knowing William would have been all that great for him growing up to begin with. As a kid he obviously did question his identity and his parents since he was adopted and he was the only black person in his entire family, but at least he had two extremely loving and supportive parents who gave him every opportunity in the world. I’m not saying that William wouldn’t have been a good dad to him, but William did have some pretty severe issues when Randall was a kid. He did drugs, he went to jail, he was grieving enormous losses. If Randall had had regular visitation with him, he would have come back to the Pearson house and felt very confused about his two very different families. William may have cleaned things up for him but he was also much younger and less wiser than he was when Randall did meet him for the first time towards the end of his life, so there’s a good chance that he would have ended up backsliding into drugs while knowing Randall and that would have destroyed Randall’s image of him as a child.

I hate how Kate takes out all her jealousy and anger on Rebecca for literally zero reason

I’m rewatching this whole show after not seeing it in a hot minute and I’m currently on season 2, I just watched the episode where Kate had her first singing gig and Toby and Rebecca came to watch. After it was over, Rebecca complimented Kate on how well she sang and Kate decided to go on a huge “poor me” pity party rant about how Rebecca was only saying all that because “she feels sorry for her.” I mean genuinely, what is Kate’s problem 😭 I’m sorry but she needs to shut the fuck up sometimes. Rebecca isn’t perfect, but I think that for the most part, she was a really great mom. She genuinely loved all of her kids and she tried to be as supportive as possible towards Kate while Kate was growing up, but the only thing Kate thought about was “ugh my mom is so skinny and she sings better than me and I’m so fat, I hate her.” How is that Rebecca’s fault? She did her best to not make Kate feel like she was ugly or inferior to her, and yet Kate still does. It’s not Rebecca’s fault that she’s conventionally attractive and skinny. Kate has this annoying victim mentality throughout the entire run of the show and it just really gets annoying after a while. If she wanted to be skinny like Rebecca, then she should have stopped blaming Rebecca for all of her issues and decide to buck up and do the work for herself, period.

Why do they never mention God in this show?

I’m not trying to say that every TV character or TV show should be religious or have religious aspects. However, this show specifically goes deep into topics like life after death, recovering from grief, forgiveness, etc. There’s a good amount of scenes throughout the show where characters are in the hospital and their family members are sitting outside in the lobby and typically, families in that situation would be praying for the person in the hospital, even if they weren’t devout Christians or anything like that, but they never have scenes like that in the show. No one ever mentions anything like “how they’ll see Jack again one day” and basically never acknowledges that heaven and life after death even exist at all, except in the final episode with Rebecca on the train but even that never mentioned anything like related to God. Historically, white families back in America in the 1980s were largely Christian or catholic. Jack and Rebecca weren’t against religion or anything because they mentioned at one point how they needed to take the kids to church. I don’t know it just makes me feel even more depressed about a lot of events that happen in the show because the characters never acknowledge that there is some sort of higher power or that there’s any hope of reconnecting with their loved ones who have passed away.

Toby and Kate should not have gotten divorced

I’m rewatching this show after not seeing it in a hot minute and I’m only halfway through season 1, but I remember all the drama that happens in the later seasons and now that I’m re-watching the earlier seasons, it really pisses me off that the writers made Toby into a bit of an asshole in the later seasons and caused him and Kate to get divorced. They were genuinely perfect together. Both actors had great chemistry with each other and their characters in-lined so perfectly with one another, their dynamic actually reminds me a lot of Jack and Rebecca. For some reason the writers in the later seasons really enjoyed ripping every character’s lives apart and if they had done it with Randall and Beth (which it kind of seemed like they were gonna do for a while) I probably would have completely stopped watching for good. The earlier seasons seemed to be much more lighthearted and had a really strong “glass half full” type of vibe but I really didn’t feel any of that towards the later seasons.

I don’t understand Blair’s insane insecurity around Serena

I mean okay I guess I understand it on a surface level, because yes it is true that Serena got way more attention than Blair did. But in every scene where Blair is bitching about everyone loving Serena more than her, she seems to chock it up solely to the fact that it’s only because Serena is more physically attractive than her and that’s just not true. Blair is just as beautiful, if not more beautiful than Serena. Just because someone is tan and blonde doesn’t make them more physically attractive than someone who isn’t. I will die on the hill that the main reason why Serena tended to get more attention than Blair was because she was just a nicer and more welcoming person than Blair was. I mean seriously, would you rather be friends with a pretty person who was sweet to you or a pretty person who would bite your head off and try to screw you over if you did something wrong?

When I watched gossip girl for the first time, I adored Blair. And don’t get me wrong, I still like her character but I’m rewatching it now and she’s pissing me off more than she did the first time. She’s a spoiled narcissist (and yes they all kind of are) but Blair is the worst because she is so extremely un self-aware of her own insecurities, especially in the early seasons. She genuinely believes that she is more mature and better than everyone, and the only thing she puts merit on for someone being “better” than her is physical attributes which is ironically the most immature thing that someone could believe. Blair’s insecurities and extreme lack of real self-confidence is more than noticeable by the people around her and yet she is so insanely hypocritical and can’t even comprehend that people would see her that way.

My boyfriend of two years is moving to a different state and he doesn’t want me to come with him, what’s going on? (f22 and m23)

Hey guys so for context, my boyfriend and I have been together for almost two years, our two year anniversary is next month. He graduated from college with an engineering degree a little over a year ago and has been working his ass off looking for a job since then. Well about three days ago, he finally got the good news of an official job offer for a really great company. The only problem is that he’s going to have to be moving to a different state, about 1,000 miles away in January of next year. Currently, me and him don’t live together, we’re in the same city but we’re both living with our parents until we can get financially stable enough to move out. Now me and my boyfriend have talked about living together frequently. Even when we had only been together for a year, he would always mention how excited he was for us to finally graduate college and get an apartment together, he couldn’t wait for us to live together without the influence of his parents, etc (his mom is a terrible person and a huge narcissist and she always tries to interfere in our relationship).

He interviewed for this job probably around a month ago and while he was waiting to hear back from them, me and him were literally looking at apartments online together, we were talking about flying out there to look at places, he even mentioned how he would let me decorate the place, all that. Basically he was getting me so hyped up to move in with him and I was really excited. The day that he found out he got the job, he was still super happy about us living together and he literally told me “pack your bags!” when he got the phone call that he got the job. However, the next day, we went out for lunch and he basically told me that he had been thinking things through and he decided he needed “alone time” when he first moves over there. He said that I could move in with him maybe after the first year of him living there but that just seems ridiculous to me. I just don’t understand why he would suddenly come to that conclusion after months of us agreeing we were going to live with each other. We’re very compatible, he’s called me his soulmate before, I just don’t see why he would pass up the opportunity to finally get to live with someone that he apparently loves so much without the influence of his awful parents. I just feel really down and I feel like I’m going to have to break up with him, I don’t think I can keep up a long distance relationship like that.

Why does the show constantly frame Serena as being more attractive than every other girl on the show, especially Blair?

I’m rewatching GG after not seeing it in a hot minute and it seems like the majority of scenes with Serena feel to me at least like the show is pushing the narrative that she’s the “hottest” one and is more attractive than all the female characters. I’m not saying Blake Lively isn’t an attractive person because objectively she clearly is, but it seems like the writers are blatantly throwing it in everyone’s face and barely ever acknowledging the other characters’ beauty, most notably Blair. Like yeah okay I get it, Serena is your stereotypical it girl. Blonde, charming, mega rich. I can see why she would be seen as the most popular one at her school by other kids her age. However, her whole identity in the show is basically that she’s so beautiful that no one could ever come close and I just don’t think that’s true. And every character in the show acts like that towards her, not just the kids at her school who are around the same age as her.

Me personally I think Blair is more attractive because her features and her personality are just really unique compared to Serena’s. I feel like Serena is just your standard upper east side hot mess blonde girl. But the show constantly knocks that idea down because there’s plenty of scenes with Serena where the other characters acknowledge her beauty like her level of attraction is some sort of unattainable goal. For example, there’s one scene where her and Blair are walking down the street and some guys are staring at them, and Blair makes some sort of comment that the only reason they’re getting looked at is because she’s with Serena like come on, seriously 😭 As if Blair isn’t pretty enough to be looked at by guys just by herself. Serena gets all of this top-model attention from other people and the other female characters get nothing like that (like people filming her every chance they get, paparazzi constantly being after her, etc). I just don’t think her beauty is anything super unique and it’s odd the show would frame it as if she was the most beautiful girl on the planet and in the whole show which just clearly isn’t true.

It feels so weird that the whole time Better Call Saul is going on, Walt is just living a lame life while being boring and teaching chemistry 😭

It’s so strange that better call Saul has all this deep and complex drama going on with all these smart and methodical characters who we all know eventually get taken down by a high school chemistry teacher in breaking bad lol. Like when Gus is planning the creation of his meth lab, it feels bittersweet because we all know that not only will it be completely destroyed by Walt eventually, but at the same time Gus was supervising the creation of the lab, Walt was just giving a boring lecture in a high school chemistry class and was someone who would have never even shown up on Gus’ radar lol 😂 Bro hadn’t even considered a life of crime at this point and yet he’s the one who takes down pretty much all the major players in the meth game a couple of years later

What a horrible graduation

I know everyone has been complaining about how terrible the graduation was and I just wanna add to that. I went to all campus commencement on Saturday and the Warren college commencement that happened the next morning on Sunday. The main one on Saturday night was absolutely horribly planned. There were signs pointing to where we could park, but they weren’t very clear and it was confusing because there were several stages that we saw so we didn’t know which one was the correct one. They had like five million people pointing to where we could go, but none of them seemed to actually know where the correct parking lot was for the all campus commencement and they were all pretty rude and arrogant to us when we asked questions. And not only that but my grad ticket had the wrong parking lot, apparently it was the one all the way over in Gilderport which I would have never known from my ticket. Once we got there it was a long ass walk to the actual stage itself and the parking lot was a giant dirt road, my dress and shoes got completely destroyed. For all the money that this damn school has taken from me, the graduation was just absolutely disgusting.

They didn’t call up any of our names during the ceremony which I do understand considering there were so many students and it probably would have taken hours. I just wish I would have known that ahead of time because a lot of my family drove down from far away cities and they had to leave that same night, if I knew that none of us would be called up that night, I would have invited them to the one the next morning instead. And that one was also horrible as well. It was outside in a hot field, I got terribly sunburned, the water tasted like genuine sewage and 80% of the students had left by the time the last name was called, which was pretty disrespectful of the school to allow them to do that. I have never been to a graduation as terrible as ucsd’s, you would think that by this time they would know how to plan it correctly.

What the hell happened to Yvegeny?

Genuinely what is wrong with the writers 😭 they seem to just forget that people have children when it seems inconvenient to the storyline. For example, Kev literally has a son in case anyone forgot lol. Cause apparently Kevin himself forgot considering that Carol gives birth to Kevin’s son and yet four seasons later, Kev is whining about how he can’t wait to have a son that he can play baseball with like bro don’t you already have one 😭 And also what the hell happened to Yvegeny y’all? I understand Svet left the show because she married that rich guy, but did she even take him with her? Cause I don’t recall him even being mentioned during that whole storyline. And also wouldn’t that have posed a big problem considering that Svetlana was pretending to be Freelania and Freelania didn’t have children? But nope guess Yvegeny just disappeared into thin air. Even Mickey forgot that he had a son bro

Jesse and Walt final episode

Sorry if this is a dumb question, I’ve seen Breaking Bad before only once and I just now finished it again for the second time and the finale was just as amazing as it had been the first time I watched it. I’m just a little confused as to why Jesse still wanted to kill Walt towards the end after Walt had taken out Jack and his whole crew. I know Jesse obviously didn’t do it but what was the actual reason as to why he decided not to? I know the general consensus is that while Jesse was pointing the gun at Walt, he saw that Walt already had a gunshot wound and realized that he was going to die no matter what, but is that really the reason? Walt had just saved his life and had basically sacrificed himself in order to keep Jesse alive and had freed him of slavery in the process. Despite all the monstrous things he had done to Jesse previously, this was a pretty perfect way of clearing the air between them. I think Jesse deciding not to kill Walt himself was a mix of three things: him already seeing that Walt had a gunshot wound, him realizing that Walt had just saved his life in multiple ways, and him still having that residual loyalty and respect for Walt despite everything he had done to him.

Enjoy this whole rant about season 3

Hey guys so I just finished all of Euphoria, I actually hadn’t seen seasons 1 and 2 before up until recently, so the whole show was pretty new to me. I’ve been wanting to watch Euphoria for a while and I waited until all of season 3 came out so that I could binge the whole show from start to finish. I gotta say, as someone who was watching the whole show from the pilot episode for the first time, season 3 was a HUGE shock to the system. It was just so so random, everything about it was random. The main characters acted weirdly, the plot lines were super strange, and the whole time I was watching this newest season, I felt like I was watching the Euphoria characters in a different universe. Like why does this show about a teenager who’s spiraling from drug addiction because of the death of her father suddenly feel like a spinoff in the Breaking Bad universe 😭 Don’t get me wrong, it was definitely…interesting I guess? Like if I hadn’t seen seasons 1 and 2, I would have thought season 3 was cool, it just didn’t feel right in the context of Euphoria as a whole.

And before y’all say it, I understand that season 3 was set 5 years post season 2 so I understand that the characters were supposed to be different because they’re older and supposed to be more “mature” but I genuinely don’t feel like any of them really matured per se, except maybe Maddy. Maddy’s character development was pretty decent, I like how she ended up becoming this whole “business woman” mover and shaker and ended up putting aside high school bullshit in defense of her friendship for Cassie. I also liked how she wasn’t chasing after guys and had seemed to resolve her emotional trauma from dating abusive men. The only thing I didn’t like was that Maddy’s storyline seemed out of character because wasn’t the whole point of her backstory is she realized she didn’t want a career or she really didn’t want to do anything at all when she was younger? But I think the main reason for the lack of maturity in the characters is because the writing is so bad that all the characters just feel a little one dimensional. Cassie is trying to do onlyfans, Rue is trying to become this sort of spiritual person, Nate is trying to get his business started up but he can’t because of a dumb flower, Jules is banging older dudes, ect. And that’s pretty much it, there’s really no other layers to any of the main characters and none of them actually genuinely changed all that much since they supposedly graduated high school.

My other big problem with season 3 is basically that the whole thing feels like one big promotional OnlyFans commercial. Like literally, nothing bad happens to Cassie as a result of her joining Onlyfans, even the conclusion to her story paints being a literal sex worker in a positive light, since Cassie and Maddy’s ending points were that they basically became onlyfans pimps and were making a shit ton of money from it. The only bad things that happened to Cassie in season 3 were simply just a result of Nate’s actions. Don’t take this the wrong way because there are a lot of of women who genuinely do enjoy doing OnlyFans, but this whole season is sending the message to girls that if you’re hot, doing porn on the internet will guarantee big bucks and fame and happiness, and that is just totally untrue. Many real life onlyfans models have complained that they are now only seen as sex objects by people, even their own family members, solely because of what they do online. Young women in this position often suffer sexual abuse and a lot of emotional trauma. And not only that, but some of the OnlyFans stuff that the show made out to be “normal” (like Cassie being a baby) is completely false and weird, and it literally goes against Onlyfan’s own guidelines. I just honestly think they should have ended this whole show after season 2.

Spending an obscene amount of money on your wedding dress is just so ridiculous

I know this is probably a stupid thing to bitch about but I’m currently engaged and I’m planning my wedding, and I’ve been watching say yes to the dress a lot recently. Some of these people are just absolutely insane, like one girl had a budget of 50,000 DOLLARS FOR A DRESS 😭 I know a lot of these quote unquote “reality shows” are actually not at all in fact reality lol but I just can’t believe anyone would spend more than like 500 dollars for a stupid dress that they will only wear one time in their entire life. What about your actual future with your husband/wife? The wedding is just for one night and then you have the rest of your life to worry about. People that care more about how much they spend on their dumb wedding are the type of people who are going to get divorced in less than a year because all they genuinely care about is material items/showing off to others. My fiancé and I have a decent amount of money, we’re not millionaires but we’re definitely comfortable, and yet we’re planning on just having a very simple wedding at a church and then a nice reception at our house with family/friends. I literally bought my dress for like 300$ and it’s beautiful y’all 😭 because marriage is about loving your spouse and having money for your family, not wearing a ridiculously overpriced diamond encrusted dress so you can flex on everyone for one night of your whole life.

Hank and Walt in season 4

I really hate how Hank basically forced Walt to get involved with his case involving Gale/Gus. Yes obviously Walt was the real monster behind all of Hank’s suspicions, but from a realistic perspective, that was an extremely illegal way for a DEA agent to go about things, and had Hank actually gotten any evidence from this, it would have no doubt been dismissed by attorneys while in court. A DEA agent purposely using a civilian to gather evidence for a highly confidential case is just honestly insane. Assuming that Hank had been right (which he was) and if you pretend that Walt wasn’t actually involved in any criminal activities, this could have put Walt’s life at a huge risk. Having a civilian drive you to potential crime scenes and forcing him to place a tracker on a suspect’s car is so incredibly illegal 😭 Especially when you consider that Gus wasn’t even an actual suspect at this point in time. I genuinely don’t know how Hank remained a DEA agent after all the illegal and unethical shit he pulled. Beating up Jesse was one thing, but he also sent pictures of a dead body to his brother-in-law, harassed innocent people for zero reason while he was off-duty (Wendy), going after leads and planting tracking devices without backup and warrants, and then now he’s forcing his civilian brother-in-law to become directly involved with a dangerous case. Hank should have not only been fired, but bro should have also been arrested forreal 😭

Jesse and Andrea

I’m convinced that Jesse and Andrea would have had the same fate as Jesse and Jane if Andrea didn’t have a kid. Everyone always debates who was a better girlfriend for Jesse, Jane or Andrea? And from what I’ve seen, most people come to the conclusion that it was Andrea since even if Jesse and Jane had more “chemistry,” Jane basically led Jesse into a really dark path of heroin addiction that he probably wouldn’t have gone into if it wasn’t for her. However, I honestly think that if Andrea didn’t have a kid, it would have been the same way with her and Jesse. People forget that Andrea was also an addict because it wasn’t really emphasized as much in the show, certainly not to the extent of Jane’s addiction, but she was literally ready to smoke meth with Jesse after sleeping with him and barely knowing him for a day or so. The only reason why she didn’t and why Jesse never allowed her to was because she had a child to look after and she had a lot more responsibility than Jane. And the sad thing is she also died because of Jesse’s involvement in the crime world, even though it wasn’t because she was on drugs. So the reality is pretty dark because Jesse could have never have had a happy ending with either of them.

I can’t get over how terribly written the Alejandro situation is (spoilers)

Sorry in advance for the long post, I just have so much to rant about 😭

So I’m rewatching DH and i just started season 8 and it just bugs me how horribly illogical the whole death of Alejandro thing is. I know a lot of storylines in this show defy logic, but this one just takes the cake for me, it was such a half assed cooked up dramatic ordeal for the whole season and it didn’t need to be that way. I don’t understand why Gabby didn’t just call the police after Carlos killed Alejandro and then told her guests about the situation and let them know that they couldn’t come in because the police were on their way. She panics about how Carlos will immediately be arrested and he’ll go to jail, which is what probably would have happened because you can’t just kill someone and not go to jail for a while and Carlos had a criminal record.

But, there is literally no way that he would have gotten a murder conviction and would have stayed in jail for a long time because what he did was completely reasonable and legally justifiable. This man not only broke into his house, but he visibly saw him getting ready to assault his wife, and so he protected her. Not only that, but a jury would never convict a man to murder if the murder victim was a child rapist, a pedophile, and was killed because he was about to rape his former victim AGAIN. Carlos would have been seen as a hero, not a stone cold murderer. The Solis’ could have most definitely afforded a good lawyer that would have told them all this.

The other thing that bugs me is the guilt from all of the housewives. I understand that no one can just bury a body and then go about their lives without having emotions from it, but they made the whole story revolve around this piece of shit person and it didn’t feel right for how much guilt these women were feeling over helping to cover up the death of this horrible monster who had no positive contributions to society. It felt like the show turned this guy into a martyr, especially with Susan’s stupid storyline where she went to visit Alejandro’s home with his family like come on dude. And of course it’s heavily implied that he was also abusing his other teenage stepdaughter before he died so how come Susan felt zero relief for saving that poor girl? And don’t even get me started on the terrible way they treated Bree, who was the only logical person in this whole situation. This was just terrible writing, hands down the worst season of the show.
