Posted about a sheared mounting screw in my 403r a couple of weeks ago. Submitted a request and received a brand new one yesterday. Pleasantly shocked since the 403r is discontinued but happy because mine was beat to hell. Huge shout out to Holosun 👏🏻
Anybody else accidentally remove some of the polymer/rubble stuff around the front lens? Knicked it with my thumb trying to remove the rubber cover 🤦🏻♂️
Finished up my mk18 clone-ish build today after my form 1 was approved (14 day approval 👏🏻). Honestly had a blast researching, sourcing parts, and building the actual lower. Obviously not a true clone but that’s fine by me and I’m still happy how it turned out. Was going for a ODA-ish build. Maybe in the near future I’ll get a rc2 for this puppy but for now the Stacy’s mom K will have to do. Also shout out to this community for all the info and references.

First screw broke when trying to torque it down to 15 pounds. Was able to get it out with pliers. Second one broke with 12 pounds of torque and it’s stuck af. Sent out a RMA request last night and haven’t heard back yet. Tried today to remove it and someone got it in deeper. POS screws.
Put a Shadow Systems DR920 elite on consignment almost 2 years ago for $600. Decided to go to my FFL and get it back to either try my luck at a pawn shop or to give it to my dad. FFL told me the shadow system sold the other day and I could get cash or store credit. Saw a brand new G19 gen 6 and figured why not try it out. Time will tell if I prefer my Gen 5 over this but I’m pretty stoked about the trade lol
From a colt bcg I just ordered. Honestly I don’t really care how it was marked. Just my tism coming out from doing a little research on colt bcg’s. Bolt has MPC which looks etched as well as the white paint circle.
Have the opportunity to possibly get an upper w/o bcg for $430. Should I send it?
