According to DeFlock, New York has installed Automated License Plate Readers at nearly every single travel point between Bergen County and New York State. From Mahwah to Rockleigh, there is no escaping big brother.

I drove by the site of The Blackwood Club out of morbid curiosity a few days ago. This was supposed to be an uber luxury private gun club in Northvale NJ, which was announced in September 2025 and looks completely dark/abandoned with what looks like 0 progress from the announcement video/photos they posted from eight months ago, smashed windows and all.

Curious if anyone ever spoke with them, sent money, tried to join, as it's 5 minutes from me vs 45 minutes + for Reloaders or GFH. Wish someone would build a gun range in Northeast Bergen County. One can dream.

For those of you who regularly shoot at an indoor range, what is your lead exposure protocol (if any)?

I was just at Reloaderz yesterday and saw they had a sink wash station with D-Lead hand soap, which made me go down a bit of a rabbit hole. I see a lot of firearms trainers/RSOs online talking about their elevated lead exposure since regular soap/water or hand sanitizer will not remove it from your body/clothes, which can transfer to your house and family.

I've seen people say you can go as much as separate clothes/shoes for the range, use d-lead soap and wipes, have a separate hamper once you get home, use d-lead laundry detergent and use a P-100 mask with nitrile gloves for cleaning, but was curious what regular everyday shooters are doing to minimize their lead exposure.
