Teak veneer. Unknown maker/origin. Loving it in my dining room area so far! Debating if we should should put our mini panthella lamp here. I think my cheap homegoods corgi lamp gives it some fun flair nonetheless haha.

And yes it hurts lol. She leaves scratch marks on my legs when she does it but I love it so I put up with it haha

I found an assembled potting bench at the habitat for humanity store for $150 this weekend. Discounted from the $320 price tag AND already assembled? I bought that bad boy so fast.

It’s cedar, so I thought it was the perfect opportunity to test some stains before I stain my new fence.

- The top is “atlas cedar”
- The bottom is “American chestnut”.

The stains I used for the bench were water based but ultimately I will be buying oil based for the fence.

I’m leaning towards the top color as it’s more warm.

I’ve done colorwork before but I’m confused about this chart in particular. I’m doing size 3.

I started Round 13 with the correct stitch counts, worked all the raglan increases as charted, and ended Round 13 with the correct total of 280 stitches. My stitch counts between all four raglan markers are also correct.

Now I’m starting Round 14 (the second round of the colorwork chart) and I’m confused about how the stitches are supposed to line up.

In my screenshot , the blue square is the final stitch I worked on Round 13. After M4, I had 7 stitches remaining to finish the round, exactly as expected (this includes the m1l following M4).

Should I begin Round 14 at the yellow square (2 CC stitches), or at the red square (3 CC stitches)?

What’s confusing me is that I have 8 stitches from the start of the round to M1, but if I read Round 14 starting at the thick border, the chart seems to require 9 stitches before M1?

Basically, which square should be my first stitch of rnd 14 - red or yellow? And why does the chart appear to have one more stitch before M1 than I actually have?

I know sprayers are recommended for full cedar fences. Am I crazy thinking that it’ll be easier to just use a paint brush? I have 87’ of fencing. And an arbor will be built along the top here tomorrow.

They both got baths and then decided the best thing to do would be to wrestle on the new couch. Thanks guys 🤣

Daphne ALWAYS wants to be around Darwin. He puts up with her shenanigans.

We had a brown rat months ago but we have rat traps set up and have had exclusion done so they can’t get in to any parts of the house. Sadly took my bird feeders down too to get rid of the rat. But this thing moves so differently and has such a stubby lil tail.

She was very brave and didn’t growl at other girl dogs once!! Maybe she’s finally becoming a girls girl 💅

So sad! Will the tree be okay? This is the main branch 🫣
