It’s dangerous gardening with mom and grandma apparently! My mom isn’t used to doing yard work with two furry shadows around. Thankfully he wasn’t hit but he was certainly shocked!

These two birds have been diving towards this bald eagle for five minutes. Do they have a nest nearby or something?

In the PNW and I suspect we have chiggers in the weedier parts of the yard. My yard is a certified wildlife habitat yard so we have tons of animals. I love the birds but I think some of the rabbits or squirrels are bringing the fleas over.

I have a few bites above my belly button and a big cluster of them above my mole - about 10 bumps. They itch and burn like hell and woke me up at like 3am :”)

I was crouched down doing lots of work but I was suited up and sprayed so much DEET on myself. This is right above where my pants were, but I also had my sweater tucked deep into my pants cause I’m at my wits end with the bug bites. I had about a dozen on each leg last weekend when I went out to weed and mow my lawn

I know for a fact there are some fleas in the yard as I’ve seen them jump off my dog’s forehead when he came in one time. I cleaned my entire house and washed all our bedding, pillows, sheets, dog beds, even the damn couch cushions! My dogs are on preventatives - I just had to do it to get rid of the itchy gross feeling I had lol.

I sang happy birthday to her and got her a beautiful custom cake!! She’s the best girl 😭🥹🤍🧡🖤

She turns one on May 4th. I wanted to wait until she was 1 to spay her and was hoping she’d get her first heat earlier than this. I’ve had to push it back. We have an appointment next week to get another pre spay blood check so that we can get her back on the books in a few weeks 🥲

She has been spotting for 14 days but today had a heavier flow. I’m monitoring her closely - poor thing! She’s been extra cuddly.

I feel like the color of the yarn I received is way off. One of the skeins looks correct ish but the other three are way darker. This is for the Violent Cat Lady Glow Raglan Knitting kit. Has anyone else had this happen? 😭
