When you drink too much and can’t move
“Get me out of here!”
My complex had a scheduled power outage so I decided to take Maleficent out on an excursion, I do not think he enjoyed it very much, but then he got to hang out on my boyfriend’s (aka giant heating pad #2) chest, as well as bask in the sun, and all was well.
Those who work in tourism, what are some of your funniest tourist moments?
Inspired by a couple of days ago when I was asked wholeheartedly “Hi we are a family visiting from California, do you guys have a California residents discount?”
Would love a laugh because these past few weeks have been, interesting.
My little sister turns 16 soon, I want to get her her first criterion. Based on her top 4, what would you recommend?
It’s cuddle time!
He did his little wiggle and fell asleep not long after I took this
short rib & mashed potato pie, berries, a kit-kat ice cream cone, with chocolate milk
I have had one of the weeks of all time. Today on my way home, the universe decided I haven’t been through it enough
I work for a tourist attraction, which isn’t the issue, it’s a dream job, but I live decently far away. My commute home is 1.5-2 hours, I did willingly sign up for this. On Tuesday I had an incident with a guest, on Wednesday he came back, and is continuing to threaten to come back. We have extra security in sight and essentially I’m one of the main people being protected. Today was a hard day just due to general craziness and some crazy ass kids on field trips. Managers were called, and teachers and chaperones were spoken to. Due to an accident, the bus was delayed, two minutes into driving the cable snapped, swung around and, shattered the window (glass flew everywhere). Nobody was injured. Everyone was alright. It took me about 3 hours to get home. Back to it all tomorrow.
well that’s a first for me
the cable snapped, swung around and smashed the window. luckily nobody was hurt but it sure was scary. i got out of work early too, jokes on me.
I work at an aquarium this is Bali our asian water monitor. i really don’t want to dox my workplace, if you recognize this aquarium i kindly ask that you do not comment it. i’m not trying to gatekeep, its safety. if you do recognize it, thank you so much for coming and i hope you had an amazing time.
Mal’s favourite spot in his enclosure is this piece of cork bark, he has been a climber since day one. I heard some metal clanging and when I looked this is where he was, he was there less than 30 seconds before i helped him down.
I’ve been going through some personal life hell. Today was a hard day, one where you can’t stop crying the entire way home from work. I got Maleficent for a few reasons, one being a way to help regulate my anxiety and i cannot describe how much this little guy means to me, he’s my entire world, and i’m so grateful he’s in my life.
