I absolutely do not want discord notifying friends that I have joined a voice channel.

I have a family member who is between jobs and he absolutely takes ARAM in LoL too seriously and is a rager. I can only handle him in small doses and I absolutely do not need him to get a notification that I have logged into a voice channel to play with mutual LoL friends. I have wondered why he seemed to jump in the same channel as me literally minutes after I login for what has felt like maybe two weeks now. Are there settings to disable this? I can't block my family member.
