There’s probably a better way to ask this but oh well-
So I’ve had this question for a while but it felt I dunno artificial(?) reading research and experiments of how different men and women are in the emotion department. I thought to ask men directly.
And before you say it: yes I know individualised differences exist, also that in the grand scheme of things genders aren’t completely different, but I’m just getting an idea of the nuances.
Edit: to clarify I’m asking what differs the way a man undergoes emotion-evocative situations from how women process em. Like sometimes a situation upsets the woman but not the man and vice versa. Or they get upset but not as severe as women on some matter and vice versa
Spoilers: gotta hate it when you watch a WHOLE anime because you saw one cool edit of cutthroat only for you to go through almost two thirds of the anime with him being beaten around and when he finally shines POOF! They took him out UGHHH!!!
In a more serious note the show was awesome! The animation, the characters' psychology and the Japanese plot version of George Orwell 1984 but with a semi-happy ending! I hope they never make a sequel just leave it as it is.
For my question though; while every character had something unique to them it really felt like cutthroat was only there for shock value, which was weird considering the first episode was all about freeing him?? unless I missed something and his character also was delivering an idea that I just didn’t catch?
The brain doesn’t distinguish emotions it just flares chemicals stimulating body reactions. We humans put labels on the different physiological responses to facilitate verbalisation. We say joy is different from happiness, anger is different from rage and so on depending on the severity of the same chemical-chain-reactions to the blind brain.
When Melanie says “Georgie doesn’t feel fear which makes her more paranoid” it doesn’t make sense; if your brain can’t produce the chain of fear then it certainly can’t amplify it to paranoia.
I was tolerant of it until I learnt that some of them get 'jealous' and 'uncomfortable' seeing other ppl yumeshipping themselves with "their" lover and so set 'completely justified boundaries' by blocking those ppl.
Like.. tf?
Then the justification is "they might be in a mentally challenging space when it comes to relationships" then they need medical help, and that not being available doesn't automatically make you kissing a paper normal human behaviour.
Then there's the "it's their life their choice"
NO!! Cause they're making that life-choice public where other 'mentally challenged ppl' could come across it and decide to adopt it instead of talking to real ppl and/or getting real help
These ppl are weird
I just read this and Caleb seems to be living my dream: Not feeling the trauma and just forgetting about it later because no feeling was attached to the memory. Sounds like heaven to me, but then again I don’t have this condition so I can’t say it is actually ‘heaven’. I thought to ask ppl who do, especially that I know it’s a spectrum and not everyone is like Caleb, if they actually wish to feel emotions? Thx
Believe it or not I’m not hating; I’m curious and tryna find poeple who are more perceptive than me to enlighten me;
I know that no matter how uhh simple(?)something is it’s got to appeal to someone, but I don’t understand how hazbin appealed to MANY.
I thought maybe it’s the colors? Again I’m not good at analysing so thank you for anyone who helps!
