“If you don’t record a video we won’t give you customer service if you need it”

This isn’t even like a PR package or collaboration it’s something I bought with my own damn money 🙃

It’s just getting worse and I’m several months in to shedding. I want to cry, crawl in a hole, anything but this.

I can’t take this. Every single time I just pull clumps of my already thin/fine hair out I can only wonder what’s going to be left if anything soon. My scalp hurts. It’s irritating, itchy at times, sore even. TE is flaring my migraine disorders again when it was well under control on medication. I feel like I’m in agony.

Cat licked eugenol extract in ear wipes??

I got this container of ear wipes for sensitive ears that is called “my pet and me” from Amazon and used it on my cats ears for cleaning. My husband thought it would be a good idea to wipe one of our cats necks with a clean one because she has long hair and has a hard time grooming there.

She obviously groomed her neck right after in the spots she could reach. I freaked out when I started looking up the ingredients this has Eugenol extract in it which is toxic to both cats and dogs. Firstly how is this safe for an ear cleaner?!

Secondly I’m panicking about my cat having ingested some of it by grooming her fur. What do I do?!

Are we getting completely “fcked” with over this house suddenly in probate???

Okay so my husband and I have spent the last 2 years house hunting, 3 offers in not accepted and we finally landed on this one we really like about a little over a month ago. We act fast, put in the offer and the older woman accepted.

All things great, appraisal goes good, it’s being sold As-Is so we’re prepared for that but otherwise a pretty solid house. We literally sign all the documents and have closing date scheduled for 7/31. That week comes and we are told the closing date needs moved to 8/7. The listing agent just says that there was an issue with the deed after the husband passed and the wife had to sort it out.

We’re like okay, annoyed because we literally end our apartments lease in over a month so we need to get in and get things ready. Anyways 8/6 comes, NO WORD. And our realtor messages them to find out that “oh yeah by the way the title is in probate and it could take up to a month” basically “lol sorry” 🙃

The listing agent blames the 80 year old seller saying it’s her fault she didn’t do it before but shouldn’t the listing agent have squared everything away before selling??? Anyways I do research on probate and I’m seeing things about 6 TO 12 MONTHS processing. And this man probably had children so who knows how that’s going to factor in?! (She married in later in life so he owned the house alone first and then she married him, etc)

I’m actually panicking. Are they lying to us to say essentially not to worry and it will only take up to a month to get transferred into her name so she can sell the house??

Is 444 just an angel number or do people really see it as a dog whistle?

I know some may think the 444 tattoo is “generic”, but it’s meant a lot to me over many years and I FINALLY decided I wanted to get it tattooed on me. I see it as an angel number meaning protection and spirituality wise it has come to mean a lot.

But I literally have the appointment today finally and last night I was scrolling to find a few rare posts saying Germans find it racist and for nazis

Is this true? Commonly seen? Is it just a German thing or do a lot of people see this tattoo and will think I’m like a white supremecist?

I’m white with blonde hair so this doesn’t help my case if that’s what the tattoo is perceived as. But I really wanted it for myself for years and now I feel torn. Like to the point of cancelling my appointment.

One last bleach before the great fall? 😭

Hello,

So my entire persona has been platinum blonde hair for like 10+ years. Honestly getting telogen effluvium ironically is forcing me out of bleaching my hair as I know I’d probably be mostly bald if I kept scalp bleaching my roots and toning.

I talked to my stylist and she said she feels we could transfer to a “lived in blonde” with a small amount of bleach to blend in my roots (dark blonde) so my hair can grow out a little more easy in this process. Right now I have like 4+ inches of a harsh root line and I need it to be blended or something. Do you guys think this will just cause more fall out?

I think I’m about 4 months into my shedding but only in the last month has it gotten a lot heavier. 😩

First time dealing with an open wound that doesn’t seem to want to close?

I found a dark blood filled spot on my side with some pus and with the lightest pressure it imploded leaving a deep little hole on my side. Lots of blood clots came out so I figured it was just from the abcess and the space and it needed time to heal but it’s been atleast 4 days with hydrocolloid bandages and cleanings and it’s not changing in size or looking like it’s healing at all.

Should I be using hydrocolloid? Regular bandaid? I’ve never had this happen before 😭

Exercise intolerance/fatigue/weakness feeling almost unbearable

I was diagnosed with iron deficiency anemia about 2-3 months ago and started iron supplements. I recently went to my doctor and said I still feel like crap, I get winded easily, I feel like I get out of my car and I’m winded or I do light tasks and I’m short of breath. My tolerance has gone way down. My fatigue is next level. I already have dysautonomia and other chronic illnesses but it’s worse. Just constant sleeping. And the weakness too, like going up steps I feel like I could fall/collapse at times.

Honestly all the classic signs, hair loss, dry skin, brittles nails, glossitis.

Recently what’s been getting even worse is when I stand too fast I get instant ringing in my ears, muffled hearing, dizziness, pre-syncope, palpitations….

Is this what others are experiencing? I was referred to a hematologist for my platelets being too high but otherwise I’m at a loss.

The people who spend the most on their orders, tip the least.

I feel like this is my “hot take” I’ve noticed as a driver. I know I accept my orders and get paid what I get paid but I’ve noticed a big trend of people buy pricey items or large orders and tipping little to nothing. Sephora $110 perfume? $5 tip. Over $100 catering order from raising canes… $7 tip. But some little old man orders 2 MILKSHAKES from steak and shake for his wife and himself and somehow tips me $20.

Not always the pattern but boy can people spend and not account for those workers out there 😅

What are ALL of their names? (extra intuitive energy work)

Many times we practice with one animal in mind on here but I wanted to really throw one out for us to put our intuition to work.

When there’s multiple subjects how do you decipher that in your minds eye? Can your intuition guide you to tell them apart? Can you tell me all 3 of these cats names with your intuition?

German roach nymph?! Freaking out!

I saw this small bug crawling on my wall late at night and when I checked and put it in the bathroom sink to get a better look it was most definitely giving cockroach 😭 my iPhone identifies it as a German cockroach? Is that true?

Is it true that seeing a nymph means I have a whole active infestation? Where do I look? What do I do?!

I live in an apartment complex and have NEVER had issues and I have a feeling someone else must have a much larger issue and it’s trickling its way over to our unit. Please any advice 😭

What is this opening in this cabinetry for in a 1950’s home?

Was house hunting and this stumped me. The house has pretty much everything original to it from when it was built in the 50’s. I tried to move the shelving next to it thinking it was like some lazy Suzan lol but that didn’t work.

Would it be for a trash can? A slim one? Stylistic and purposeless choice? I’m confused

House showing yesterday, saw this in the basement and booked it. Terrified now.

My husband and I went to a house showing yesterday and the owners were still partially living there/moving. Others were viewing the house so we got out of the way and checked the basement out first and I’m glad we did because within 5 minutes we found a spare bedroom with a very clear bed bug infestation. I stood at the doorway when I saw it and the realtor took these images. We booked it out of there immediately.

Now I’m absolutely freaked about the idea of bringing something home. How likely is it if we only walked/stood and we only were at the door of the room. Total time in the house like 5 minutes before running. Never leaned up against a wall or sat on anything.

Please please tell me 😭😭😭

Therapy got heated at the end of the session today and now Ive been crying for over an hour….

I have never had therapy get heated to the extent of arguing (not yelling) but definitely in a heated way with my therapist. I feel very very upset right now so I know I need to take time to cool down and relax before any big decisions but this rattled me a lot and made me feel rather worthless when we ended the video call.

I’ve been seeing this therapist for 2 years now and honestly it’s been okay. We get somewhere at times but it’s never as hard hitting and deep as my old therapist and I do miss that sometimes. I have issues with the idea of getting a whole new therapist though because telling them my “life story” and traumas all over again just takes so long and the rapport I’ve built with my therapist matters to me.

Essentially today I started the session saying I’ve been struggling and feeling stuck lately. Between chronic illnesses/disabilities and job hunting for nearly a year for a part time job while also navigating giving up the career field I’m in that I devoted my entire life too…. I’ve been very stressed. Due to my disabilities the career I wanted isn’t manageable anymore so now I feel very stuck in life about what path to take. On top of this though I’ve been working hard to change my life otherwise and focus on my health physically and mentally. I’ve lost 90lbs and will continue to try my hardest to get to a healthier weight for myself, I see a therapist and psychiatrist regularly, I felt more stable on my meds and I have been trying to get my ADHD treated as I’ve struggled my whole life undiagnosed and it’s really affecting my entire life. Chores and organizing are hard and at times entirely overwhelming or too much on bad disability days to care for everything so my husband steps up a lot and I talk about the guilt of this in therapy. I’m trying to get medication to see if it will help the ADHD.

So today my therapist essentially told me I’m getting nowhere in life and in therapy because I have a “I can’t” mindset. And said that I don’t do as much around the house because I don’t want to. Or I don’t utilize therapy techniques because I feel like “I can’t” even though she never asked or checked up and I had tried these techniques with no avail. All this mindset tearing me down saying my whole life is basically saying “I can’t I can’t I can’t” to everything in life. I was also discussing self image issue with her and caring what other people think too much so it all hit me really hard but I got very upset when she said this. I started asking, would I not be in therapy or psychiatry or losing weight and working on my health every single day if I kept thinking “I can’t I can’t I can’t?” Would I not be getting my cardiologist to clear me for ADHD meds so I can finally see if something helps if my mindset was just to give up?! (But she has ADHD and it’s just as easy for her to remember to do the dishes and never once forget 🤨) I clearly try my best to keep pushing and keep a positive mindset the best I can. I have been in the depths of that giving upset mindset before but I was very offended she passed off the last year of my hard efforts as nothing. I told her she was making bold assumptions about my life to be saying that and I was in tears and she was stone cold. She basically ended by saying time was up, no deescalation of any sort or comment on the heated discussion or way things ended and asked if I wanted to schedule now or later then hung up.

Honestly it has never ended this way but I feel so disrespected and ultimately not understood. The more I think about it the more I feel like we are not on the same page at all. How would you go about this?

House on the market keeps dropping but not selling- should we offer lower?

So this house has been on the market since early February (about 3 months now). Originally it was listed at 205k and sat until 4/13/26 when they dropped it to 195k. 3 days later down 5K. 1 week later down 10k. Then maybe 2 weeks and we’re down to 165k. This place is DROPPING.

I mean 40k drop is crazy right? Honestly we still are ever so slightly out of our range for pricing and affordability and we’re thinking more of a starter home for like 155k or less. This place used to be a rental and it’s clearly owned by a large corporation that rents MANY homes and apartments in this area s I feel like they are desperate to get rid of it. No one has put an offer in well after the recent 15k drop.

There isn’t any gutters. The AC unit needs replaced. The floors needs replaced or deep cleaned as it has some dog urine smell to it. Some “landlord special” things going on that we could work on slowly. But overall it’s a solid home for my husband and I.

Would it be absurd to try a low ball offer here?

Edit: market value does place it around 200k but similar homes in the area with 1 less bedroom are around 165k in market value. However zestimate says 165k as is?

Are we pushing loans off or switching plans??

I don’t really know what to do. When there was no interest and I qualified for $0 payments a month because of my income I still tried to put money towards my $26k loans when I could. It may have been like $700 total but I was proud to be a somewhat recent grad making progress.

I eventually lost my job, it’s been 6 months well past my unemployment and I’ve had countless interviews and no offers. I’m living off of doordashing to get some money to get by. I can’t pay any sort of loans but I’m terrified about not switching repayment plans and then being screwed or do I stay on SAVE and just hope and pray something works out? The interest is already eating the money I even put towards it so that feels pointless.

I have so much medical and credit card debt my priorities have been focused on those. Any advice???

Honestly I assumed after I hadn’t heard back any response that I was ghosted and they found another candidate. Is this promising or a red flag?

Could it mean they held onto my information as a promising candidate? But then again contacting me 2.5 months after an interview to see if I’m still interested seems a bit absurd. I guess the least I can do is follow the lead and see what it entails but I’m curious what you all think in this situation.

Tonight sucked, SO bad.

I had shooting pains in a localized spot on my leg and a deep/dull ache. I got worried about a blood clot in my leg and wanted to be safe and rule it out as it was showing several signs for one. I did consider the potential that maybe my picking has gone too far and gotten infected it it didn’t look infected to be causing shooting pains.

Anyways I felt like I had to keep explaining… “I have really bad OCD…. I have excoriation disorder so I pick at my skin… etc etc” all just like a forewarning for what they are about to see. (The back of my legs are way worse 😩)

I literally said this to the nurse and she was like “ohhh okay well let’s see the area hurting” and as SOON as I pull up my pant let she points to all my scabs and wounds and goes “how did all these happen?”

I was taken aback as I just explained to her. Granted maybe she didn’t know about it or understand so I just dumbfoundedly said “uh, OCD.” She looked confused and then just carried on.

Then I had to basically have the same conversation with every doctor or tech that came in after her. I’m so embarrassed. I want to stop. I’m doing so bad. This is the WORST it’s ever been and I don’t understand why it’s gotten so bad. And the scars… ugh.

Edit: I FORGOT THE WORST PART…. A girl I went to highschool with was my ultrasound tech so she had to go from my groin down my entire leg and get an entire visual of how f’d up everything is. She was professional but I was mortified.
