Do you think the 2025 models will hold up in value?

The 2025s are the last generation, most refined and tuned with all the kinks worked out. Heard the 2026 model is garbage right now. What do you think? Could you foresee demand for the 2025s holding up their value?

Players are so weird man

Was playing a game happily allied to everyone just trading and an ally randomly attacked me and then when he got attacked by someone else sent a message saying "you're ruining the game for both of us!"

Anyone else here love causing chaos?

I don't even care if I win I just love saving up for a MIRV and sending it on one of the top players. Nothing more cathartic than mutually assured destruction.

PV as a tourist...

Man it feels like everyone's just trying to extract as much money as they can from you. Booked a city tour and we were just transported to multiple different marked up stores 5x the regular price. Spent 5 minutes on the Malecon. Its so tiresome man.

Do you ever get ignored at the buffet/restaurant service?

Ive been to a few resorts in Mexico with my wife who is Mexican. I am a gringo and only know a little Spanish. I've noticed when my wife is not around that I get ignored. Has this happened to anyone else? I am wondering if it's because they don't know English so get scared. I can make it work out no matter the language we use. I'm just a little saddened.

The only time the servers end up coming around is when they see I'm about to finish to try and swipe the tip.

What do you guys do in these situations? Do you tip regardless?

How do you feel about your spouse's friendships with the opposite gender?

My wife takes my kids to playdates and has developed a friendship with one of the dads. Not sure how I feel about it. Ok one hand it should be totally fine but on the other I feel bothered.

Are these joists in OK shape?

Deck must be 20 years old at least. The boards are rotten I just want to make sure the joists are OK to last another 5-7 years.

What's the best way to remove and replace this side board?

What started out as an intention to only remove some rotten boards has turned into a nightmare as the side boards of my deck here are more rotten than I thought. Any idea how to safely remove these side boards and replace?

What's the best way to remove boards with stripped screws?

I can't for the life of me figure out how to remove these without taking forever. I have tried drilling around the screws, using a sawzall (Ryobi one is underpowered as hell), and some prying. It's too time consuming.

What's your suggestions on how to quickly remove boards with rusty stripped screws from the joists?

I'm working entirely with Ryobi and I can't help but feel it's all underpowered.

In your opinion what is the worst infrastructure/revitalization program in the city?

For me it has to be the revitalization efforts between 97 St and 101A Ave just beside Canada Place. I think it's called the Chinatown/Quarters revitalization efforts. All around 97st and Jasper Ave actually. Watching that snails pace construction, it looks like they are adding some mini pools(????) along the roadway. Looks absolutely terrible and I can't imagine how 100 million will be spent with this half baked idea.

Is it just me or do Canadian vacations not really make sense, financially?

Been comparing trips within Canada to trips to Mexico and man, you can't really beat a Mexican trip at a nice all inclusive.

Here you get a basic hotel for $200-400 night, nothing included, and in Mexico you get all that plus a flight for dirt cheap.

I really want to travel around Canada this summer but the numbers just don't add up. It's really hard to support "Buy Canadian" when you just feel like you're getting ripped off.

Is a slight engine vibration feeling in the cabin normal?

I can feel an intermittent engine vibration in the cabin. I have a 2025 CX5 about 4500km. I haven't noticed it until now, wondering if it was always there or something new.

Reoccuring dream about a run down guest house

I am regularly dreaming about living on a property with two houses. My normal house, and a secondary house in the backyard that is run down, has mice, and needs to be fixed up. It's huge. Can anyone help me identify what this means? It's constantly present in my dreams.

Is this double piece of side decking structural? Can I replace the rotten section?

The railing was creating a wet spot for water to accumulate here. I removed railing and want to replace the first siding deck piece and leave the second one. Is that safe to do? Also I don't see any nails or screws on that second piece that is rotting. How is it being held together?

Deck paint peeling and some rot - best course of action?

Hi there, bought a house last year and my deck has been peeling paint ever since. I think they just slapped on a coat of black paint over old decking. Can you take a look at these boards and recommend what I should do? I was thinking of sanding the entire thing down to take the paint off and replacing any rotting boards. Then just staining. What do you think? I can't really afford a full deck replacement. It's about a 12 x 18 deck.
