Is the TO Retinol 1% in Squalene still a good Retinoid?

I've been using it for a couple weeks now and I don't feel like it's done anything for me so far. Using it twice a week at night. Never had any bad reactions. Skin barrier didn't get too dry. Whole face just feels oily afterwards. Wondering if anybody here have alternatives or experience regarding them.

I can never get a proper crust in the middle at all is it a pan issue?

The sides and everywhere else look fine but the middle just looks like it didnt get that roaring heat to make a crust even though my fire alarm just set off. It's leaking a bit of juices too but some of that was clarified butter I used just drizzled the pan drippings above it. Some of the parts disconnected too.

This steak was a ribeye bought at Wildfork that was frozen. Defrosted it by submerging the steak that's in a vacuum sealed bag for like half an hour in room temp water. I don't know what I did wrong.

Afraid of ruining my Uniqlo Cashmere Turtleneck by washing it

Was wondering if anybody here has their best advice on how to clean these? I have 3 and I dont want to mess up their material and size. It's already summer so might as well get to cleaning them.

How do you wash them? Which detergent? How do you dry them?

Does higher rebounding and blocking attributes mean easier rebounds and blocks?

I built a 7 footer point guard just for the fun of it and I was wondering if it will be easier for me to rebound and block if I focus upgrading those or it won't really matter since my guard is 7 feet tall?

The only attributes I can clearly see that makes a difference is shooting and finishing because for shooting the bar is better and finishing I can sort of jump farther when it comes to dunks.

Hoping to get some insight thank you.

Galaxy Watch 4 Classic battery barely lasts 5 hours now on a full charge

Had this watch for years. Helped me a lot too with my health and fitness. Lately it's just not surviving anymore. I feel bad about letting it go because of the bezels that I just rotate sometims for fun.

Can I get the battery replaced somewhere or would it make sense to just get a new watch?

For Asian men who often gets perms to add volume for their hair, what were the long-term effects? What are the alternatives?

Struggling asian male here in his 30s and frustrated with how flat my hair is. I get compliments with how thick and healthy looking it looks but it's annoying when it gets a little longer or when I take off my headset at work.

I have had perms before a couple times to add volume but I got worried about potential thinning or losing my hair earlier. So far my understanding is to just always go for asian stylists or atleast those who know how to cut asian hair. I made a mistake going to a middle eastern one who didn't understand that I needed layers

For those who no longer perm, how is your hair right now? What do you do to still look good with asian hair that's no longer permed?

Been dealing with Mental Health Struggles that triggers during warmer months and in need of some grace

It's weird. Just when I thought I couldn't be more unusual even more. I feel all these things when it's the time of the year when you're supposed to be out and about. The season for rebirth and starting.

I called in sick at work. Been eating fast food since morning and just picked up my dinner Uber Eats that's a huge financial mistake.

Been in bed all day on my phone while movies were playing on the tv. Been feeling with impostor syndrome and dealing with dread that if work finds out with how I feel that I would be fired outright.

How do you all deal with this or anything similar? In need of some grace, compassion, or even guidance.

My point guard with 10 Dribbling has never broken ankles before, help needed

I have spammed the crossover and hesi buttons but still no dice. How do you guys get to do it? Do you try to actually go to one direction and then do crossover? Can't break them by constantly pressing and holding the crossover button?

It's hard to find proper feedback on a mattress from people. There's also just so many mattress types. I saved up for a bed and it's just hard to commit $1000 dollars atleast for a mattress

I'm an asian male in his 30s who's a bit blessed with hair because it's still quite thick and grows well. My hairline has receeded a liiitle bit but that's probably just aging. I used to get those korean perms often for volume because my hair is thick, straight, and dense. Goes flat often with how heavy it is. I started getting those korean perms 2/3 years ago because it adds volume to my hair and adds a bit of a korean aesthetic which has been in lately.

However these korean perms are expensive and spending 200 a month or two is a huge hit on the budget. I was wondering if my hair and wallet will be happier that I stop for a bit or I my hair isn't exactly gonna be in trouble if I keep doing it every 2 months?

Im in Toronto, Canada by the way. Thank you.
