Have you guys encountered a black man running into traffic on Bay Area between space center and Saturn?

Hey, I didn’t know there was a subreddit for clear lake! I’ve seen this man running into incoming traffic many times at night time. I always have to drive very careful in that area because he comes out of the bushes.

Ping pong clubs?

My friend and I are getting into ping pong recently and it’s really fun. Are there any dedicated ping pong places in Houston that people of all skill levels go too

My trip to Shanghai

My trip to Shanghai

Hello! I get to travel a lot for work and recently started recording parts of my trip and making videos. I’m not the best at editing and still trying to find my style. Any constructive criticism for editing(I have three more cities I’m editing this week) and how to take better shots are welcome. All shot on osmo pocket 3.

By the way, I went into the dji flagship store as well in China. Absolutely amazing. I got to try out the dji pocket 4 pro!

Shanghai was absolutely beautiful. The people are nice, asked to take pictures with me. Every single DiDi’s was futuristic and luxurious. Alipay wasn’t difficult to use. I was able to use my T-Mobile Internet just fine and make phone calls back home without an issues.

My only complaint is out of anyone’s control, the humidity.

34M - 15+ years of unexplained exertional headaches, heat intolerance, fatigue and brain fog. Extensive workup over the last 3 months has been mostly normal. Where would you look next?

34M, 6'0", ~215 lbs.

I've spent the last 3 months aggressively trying to figure out what's been wrong with me because my insurance is ending soon. I've seen multiple specialists and had a lot of testing, but I still don't have an answer.

My symptoms have slowly progressed over about 15 years, but the biggest issues are:

• Severe heat intolerance (sun, humidity, or exercise make me feel awful)
• Exertional headaches/head pressure that can last hours
• Brain fog
• Fatigue and feeling like I never got restorative sleep (until recently)
• IBS (diagnosed after normal colonoscopy)
• Anxiety that seems to get worse when the physical symptoms flare
• Occasional numbness in my fingers
• Sometimes blurry vision/halos in one eye
• Frequent urination during bad headache episodes

Things that reliably trigger symptoms:

• Running or hard exercise
• Being outside in Houston heat

Things that seem to help:

• Cold weather
• Electrolytes/salt
• Naproxen
• Recently... cyclobenzaprine at bedtime.

Over the last 3 months I've had:

• Normal stress test.
• Normal echocardiogram.
• Tilt table test (didn't suggest POTS according to cardiology).
• Colonoscopy (normal except diagnosed IBS).
• ENT evaluation.
• Endocrinology workup (nothing hormonal found).
• Rheumatology evaluation. I have ankylosing spondylitis, but my inflammatory markers and SI joint X-rays were reassuring. The rheumatologist thinks my symptoms may fit fibromyalgia/central sensitization and started me on cyclobenzaprine.

Here's the interesting part:

Within a few nights of starting cyclobenzaprine, I've had the best sleep I've had in years. I'm waking up actually feeling rested, my nightmares have almost disappeared, my energy is noticeably better, and I even tolerated a hot yoga class much better than usual.

I'm trying not to get my hopes up because it's only been about a week, but it's the first treatment that's made me feel like something actually changed.

My question is:

If you were seeing this patient for the first time, is there another diagnosis or specialty you'd consider that may have been overlooked? Or does this sound like someone whose symptoms could genuinely be explained by fibromyalgia/central sensitization with years of poor restorative sleep?

Thanks for reading.

I made an unboxing video of the Vivobarefoot Ora sandals

When I was on the market for them, it was hard to find videos on them so i felt inclined to make one.

My thoughts:
- very secure once you have the three straps on

- comfortable, the sole is a little thicker than most other barefoot sandals

- they’re not ugly or draw attention in public. I feel like a lot of other barefoot sandals look ugly and can’t match it with clothes.

- get a size up because these were too small on me.

Safe to drive from Clear Lake to the Medical Center around 9 AM with storms expected?

It’s not raining right now, but I have an appointment today that I’ve been waiting about a month for. I’d be driving from Clear Lake to the Medical Center around 9 AM.

I’ve been checking Space City Weather, and at the moment things seem okay, but I’m worried conditions could get worse later. For anyone familiar with that drive or the storm timing today, would you feel safe making the trip?

Just trying to make the best call. Thanks.

I have pretty distinct droopy eyes and a fair skin tone, so I don’t often meet people who look like me. But every once in a while, I’ll see someone with the same kind of eyes and overall features, and the resemblance is honestly weird.

I’m not talking about “we kind of look alike.” I mean we could pass as relatives, or even long-lost twins.

Is it weird to go up to someone and say, “Hey, this is random, but I think we look really similar. Would you want to take a picture?”

Or is that too awkward?
