I am getting to the point where I understand some theory and probably know enough to join a random jam session but I'm curious if there is like a pretty normal process to follow. Like are you expected to just learn an entire song on the fly or is it more like hey just play I-IV-V in C and we'll take turns improvising random shit on top?
Looking for something I could just drop into on a weekly basis but no commitment or like requirements to join an official team.
A damp, warm microfiber cloth didn't do anything.
Looking to clean up my fretboard and was wondering if anyone has used 0000 steel wool to help clean it and give the fret a bit of a small polish and then wipe up with a damp microfiber cloth?
Obviously being careful to cover the pickups and keep the wool shards off

I am thoroughly enjoying learning I Am Ahab on guitar, but I feel like the verse I and II on this tab sound a little different from the track. I've been playing for less than a year and don't really have the best ears for this so figured I'd ask here if the verse sections on this tab are correct or if anyone knows a different/correct way to play them?

What are some of your favorite stand alone singles or songs off an EP?
I'm having more difficulty palm muting with the bump next to the bridge. If I rest my wrist on it, my palm mute is kinda only half there and then if I move my hand further up I'm picking over the neck pickup and if I'm digging in for a more metal sound I tend to hit the pickup a lot.

Recently got my first strandberg which is a boden prog NX 6 and from my memory it was playing perfectly. I've been using a uke wall hanger which seems a little tight, but I was okay with it because it made me confident the guitar wouldn't fall.
I now feel like I'm getting more fret buzz than a few days ago while fretting near the middle of the neck and the only thing I can think of that changed was starting to use the wall hanger. Do you think the slight pressure from the uke hanger could be affecting the nut or something to cause more fret buzz or does that not make any sense?
I might just be going crazy
