How should I go about working out at the gym?

24m gay (if that matters) - I don’t really mean like schedule, I can do that and feel pretty confident. But I just got a sub to Gold’s Gym mainly cause it’s the only 24/7 gym and I’d have to work out between the times of 12-3 am.

I have literally never worked out at a gym before and I wasn’t very athletic as a kid so the vibe is very different. But I’m built like an actual twig and whilst I know everyone’s focussed on their own thing; would my being there present like a “wtf” moment for people? Like do I look silly walking in there ?😭

Idrk what kind of attitude I should have about this and just wanted insight from experienced gym-goers

Jupiña or Coco Rico?

Hey all I wanted to know if anyone knew where I could find either Jupiña or Coco Rico. There aren’t any publix up here and I haven’t had too much luck at the Latin supermarkets :(

Surely not?

Ok there’s literally no way this is correct. Why would you put the ovens on the left if that’s where the production goes? I’m thinking that maybe this is showing right-facing production flow? I can’t verify cause the buttons at the top right don’t work 😍

I prep food to my right, reach over my body towards the left (I’m right handed) then take the food out again to my right to pack them, then move them leftwards?

Would it not make sense to prep, put in ovens to my right, take out leftwards, and continue on towards the window or café?

In the siren’s eye I don’t remember what the buttions used to say, but I remember the colours not being 100% intuitive so I’d have to double tap to make sure that’s the one that was selected.

Is this mead or wine?

Hey guys, I was gifted this bottle and I have no idea what it is.

In my head wine and mead are to different beverages? But the word wine is one here but so is mead? I’m thinking it’s a wine with fermented honey; but I’m pretty sure that literally what mead is

Can this stand alone?

Some context:

I want to get a tattoo with an Arabic quote, but I don’t really want a common idiom or something easily translated on Google.

To pay homage to me Andalusian ancestry, and for love of the Arabic language I want to get the the final verse of the first half of Lamma Bada

“غصن ثنى حي**ن **مال”

I know it’s not a complete phrase, but the intention is to have a kind of “hung” phrase something like “a branch bent once tilted”

The tattoo has a branch in it.

I just want to make sure it doesn’t sound utterly stupid lol

IF it can stand alone, maybe there’s an artist out there I can commission?

Japanese > English tattoo I want to get - just need to decide if that’s a phrase I want on my body

If this is a saying or something poetic, could you keep the flowery language? I might change the language and I want to know how to best write it

[DISCUSSION] Must a poem always be art?

Hey guys I’m new to this sub and I have a question for everyone, but some context.

When I write poetry it’s more of a therapy thing, it forces me to sit down and choose one aspect of how I’m feeling - cause I’m usually overwhelmed with some emotion - and begin to organise everything I feel into words on a page. I go back a day or two later when I’m less upset and try to understand myself through my writing, cause I get into this weird trance state where I’m not 100% conscious of what I’m writing.

I don’t write these poems to share or for them to be consumed in anyway; I’m not against it, but it’s most certainly not my intention. But I think to myself that maybe those poems aren’t art, until I share them. Once they are beheld then this coping mechanism becomes art. I’m not trying to make absolute statements cause art means so many thing to everyone. But I wanted someone else’s perspective on this. What do yall think?

TLDR I don’t consider my poems art unless someone else reads them.

Orígenes de una palabra

Hola a todossss
