I'm a former ADC main and as an ADC it was very easy to close out the game as you are the person hitting the towers, from a far. I've been liking jungle recently as its more self-going and whilst closing out games as Graves or Kindred has been very easy, I struggle on Rengar.
How do you guys go about ending games? I find it quite hard if my team doesn't want to push all that much, even when I hover them
I am currently a student but tend to save up for a while to go scuba diving. How big of a budget would you guys say is required to make this hobby worthwhile? I pressume it is very expensive but I am hovering between studying Marine Bio/Engineering at Uni so I am sure it could be worthwhile.
Super thankful for any comments
I am generally very lonely, I don't have anyone to talk to in my life, I don't have family or friends but every now and then I'll make some acquaintances. People often want to talk to me but for one reason or another I always push them away, sometimes out of anxiety or fear, sometimes because I do not like them.
Last year though I met a girl who was so respectful and sweet to me and we quickly hit it off. We had a very intense 6 month relationship and I felt as if I had genuinely found the one person in the world who would understand me and that I could feel at peace.
As the relationship went on though I fell back into feeling bitter, I was very negative and she said she couldn't handle it anymore, and I get her. I have tried to be more positive or have a better outlook but it is all made up or forged if I do, it becomes very apparent to people and it stresses them out. So I try to be myself and most the time I am just anxious and negative. Defensive.
She left me and I begged her multiple times to stay, she told me that I creep her out and that she never wants to hear from me again. I was shattered and for the first 3 months I tried to move on, I didn't contact her or anything. Yesterday though I started having so many thoughts, I thought to myself that, this can't be it. I didn't want to believe she really views me that way after everything we had told eachother. I felt as if, if I didn't contact her now, that I would never get to talk to her ever again and that her feelings for me would fade completely.
So I contacted her a few times and she blocked me, I texted her on phone asking if she would leave the door open, that she was my only friend in the world and stuff. She sent me a long text saying that she is very very creeped out by me and that it is the first time in her life where she has felt the need to block someone. That what I am doing is not okay and that she thought of me as a horrible human for not respecting her basic wishes of not contacting her.
And, I still do not fully understand what I am doing wrong. She knows how lonely and how dark my thoughts are, she genuinely knows everything about me and she still chooses to believe something about me that I feel is not true.
But I also understand that there is something wrong with me, I would never do any stalkerish things to her, I just want to keep my best friend. I need some advice, I have been struggling a lot recently and I am incredibly ashamed off myself and feel very hopeless, I feel like I am alien and I feel like I never want to show myself to anyone ever again knowing that this is how I make people feel when in my head I reason differently. Any comments are appreciated.
So I had known this girl for a few years, we met at a meetup between a few online friends and we were mutuals. I felt really good chemistry with her but I was too much of a coward to make a move. Nonetheless eventually we would reconnect online and we quickly started dating, but we never met. She would be very sexual, sext a lot and we would exchange videos and she would open up about being a brat and that she loved being used, forced into having sex and stuff.
The idea of it all and the way she would talk to me was nice, I found it hot or whatever but at the same time I am legitimately a virgin at 25 with 0 experience and am unsure of how I would react in person. Is being a dom something that comes naturally or is it a learned behavior? I have always been kind of physical and an asshole growing up but even when in physical altercations I would be careful not to hurt the other person, for example never hit their face etc. It is just morally wrong to me.
Just interested to hear what you guys have to say about this. Me and her do not talk anymore but it would suck to find someone else, have the same thing happen and then the sexual dynamic doesn’t work out. So, is the thought of finding something hot enough to know whether you’d like it in person? Please tell me your experiences I’d love to know.
She was my closest friend and now she’s gone. We had told eachother that if even things wouldn’t work out we would remain by one another’s side for the rest of lives but I suppose she said that in the spur of the moment but I really meant it. She’s irreplaceable to me and is the only person that I have held so close and let in my whole life.
I try to contact her at times but she doesn’t reply. I miss her so much.
I have always been incredibly interested in marine life but I am deathly afraid of open water. It is a real phobia that I have and it makes me freeze up in shock everytime I see a big fish within open water. For example Orcas or sharks even though it is sharks, orcas and whales that I find the most interesting. Is it a wise idea to commit with this phobia I have? Thankful for advice and honesty.
It’s pretty much all I’ve been doing for the past 4 years with limited success. I excel at a lot of things, I recently started working out, I’ve been taking care of my hygiene more and have at least tried to put myself out there in life more but everything just spirals back down eventually. I found the girl I thought would be the love of my life last year but I was too exhausting for her and she left me.
I am now back to the whole improving myself in hopes of having a better outlook on life, experiencing happiness and finding fulfillment in something but my patience starting to wilt. I try so hard to try and be happier and it feels like I am just prolonging the inevitable at this point. I am thinking about how it’ll all be better once I finish my education, get jacked and become more self-going but I also feel like history repeats itself even when I think things are looking up. I always spiral back into self-doubt or get a reality check at some point.
Not sure what I should do, I only stay because I know the pain it would inflict on my mother and she is an angel who has endured so much suffering herself that I find it way too cruel for her to experience the grief. I want to be better and to be happy, I need advice.
I really enjoy playing games that have very satisfying shotgun combat with fast moving targets, for some reason it just scratches some itch I have, like one pumping an object that is moving quickly.
I've played DOOM, Half-Life and Natural Selection 2 and nothing I've found really compares. Do you guys have any recommendations?
We have been no contact for 3 months and her rebound has failed, we still follow eachother on Spotify and at times I'll see her listen to our playlist we had. I want to message her that I'd be happy to hear from her if she ever wants to reach out and that I miss her. She cut me off and I am afraid that she'll block me if I do, I really do not want to burn the bridge.
I need advice
We were together for 7 months and ever since me and her broke things off I’ve noticed she’s been having very short flings with guys that seem to last a month or two. I really just wish she’d come back and it feels like I am just sitting here waiting for something that’ll never happen. I try to give other girls a chance but there’s nobody like her. I really miss her.
Want to make it my own a little more, what mods would you guys get? I’m based in Europe so preferably not anything that needs to ship from the US (import fees are rough)
Just studied history this semester as I am genuinely interested in the subject but quite literally every single lesson we would talk about Racism and LGBT rights. It gets kind of tiresome and repetitive to have it be the only thing we read about and it really made me not want to read history anymore. Is this normal? What are your guys’ thoughts on it?
Went back to studying as of recently and even though I find math easy once you get a hang of it (I don’t work with very complicated math), I still find myself lacking in areas, mostly rules that I never learnt that is expected of me to know beforehand etc, like the x^1/2 being square root of x or the derivatives definition. So, how do you go about relearning math to make sure you’re well equipped going into University studies?
Any help is very much appreciated
After constantly reading about how you should start on something smaller and if you don’t you’re a maniac, I still got a ZX6R 2026 as my first bike ever. It really is not hard to ride at all apart from very low speed and as long as you read up a little about maneuvering the bike you’ll be golden. Will say the analog throttle is quite sensitive though.
tldr; Bike is easy to ride, don’t let anyone on the internet scare you into getting something you don’t really want :)
I’ve for the past 6 years, ever since I broke my wrist, something that costed me my career within e-sports had a very negative mindset, not being able to do what was then my only passion in life have made me try and move onto other things but for some reason I always expect the worst outcome.
Last year however I met a wonderful girl that happened to become my girlfriend for the following 6 months. I never thought someone like her could ever exist and I was so lucky to have her, but my self-destructive tendencies and catastrophic thinking ultimately made her leave and my overall hopes and outlook on life has only cemented itself as hopeless even more since.
I come across people whom I feel a little urge of wanting to get to know them but I brush it off and genuinely believe it’ll just end in misery and that it’s pointless to even try so I just lose the drive or interest in having a conversation and if I try it is very forced. I want to stop being like this because it is honestly agonizing, I wake up and want to do nothing but go back to sleep. If there’s anyone who has had similar experience, I would be more than glad to hear what you have to say.
I have lived my life on autopilot my whole life, have allowed people to walk over me and have had little self respect and dating her made me realize what it means to be loved and respected.
She left me and now I feel so alone, I don’t have any real friends and the only person who reached out to me on my birthday was her and it hit hard knowing I can’t have her. I miss her so much, this aching feeling of wanting to share my day with her eats me alive and there’s nobody else to fill that void. Don’t feel like going on in all honesty.
Hey, been struggling for the majority of my life with socializing and making new friends and I feel like I am at a place where I want to be better at it.
A bit of background and context as to the way I am and how I have always been:
Growing up I never really had much trouble making friends and I had a few, many of whom it felt quite transactional. Some friends were like brothers to me in a sense but I have always been quite judging and have like ”looked down” on them if that makes sense, thought of them as dumb maybe? Early on when I was in kindergarten I would take on the role of ”leader” when playing with my friends and would order them around. I would befriend people to get access to their f.e games they played or consoles they had. I feel as if I was exploitative and almost manipulative as a child. My mean and terrible behavior had me go through a lot of betrayal, which I believe was justified but it has left its scars on me. I very rarely find genuine interest in people and I feel as if it something that keeps me from socializing a lot, when I do I am utterly terrified of getting too close and I feel as if I will be rejected, betrayed or left out as I usually am.
If I do befriend someone I tend to get annoyed with them or always end up in a kind of ”rivalry” or tough love friendship where the vibes aren’t very good and I am getting tired of it.
I very badly want to socialize and to make friends but I don’t know how to get better. I don’t want to force a personality that I am not true to and I would be awful at doing it at that. Am I just not made to be social? Am I some sort of sociopath or something? I feel like I love my near and dear and appreciate them a lot but sometimes I can’t help but feel like I am a terrible person.
Met the first live of my life last year and it ended because of my negativity aswell and it sucks because I have only come across 3 women in my 25 years where I have felt understood and as if I genuinely wanted to talk to them without having to force myself. How can I be better?
Any advice is very much appreciated and I apologize if my post is very confusing to read. If you have any questions I am happy to answer.
