I love shooting this thing. Always brings a smile to my face, and usually anyone else at the range too! Just last week I went shooting and brought this little guy. Had a couple kids there with their dad absolutely fangirling over it 😂. Always great to let others try it out.
2013 STX S-cab 2wd. 5.0, 1 owner no accidents, and only 70k miles. Also came with an upgraded touch screen infotainment system. Paid 15k. Truck looks almost mint inside and out. Feels like I got a good deal.
Has 116k miles, they are asking 18k. Price seems a bit high for the mileage, or is that reasonable? Car is in otherwise great shape from what I can tell. Clean title

Way better lighting and backdrop lol. Also, I’ve actually got the proper thumb safety in it now. The single sided one was one I had laying around and put in the gun while I waited for this EGW one to come in. Backstory is I had a Tisas raider 9mm I was using for ESP in IDPA, but it didn’t have a checkered front strap. Me, being obtuse and a moron decided building a gun from the ground up using parts I wanted was better than simply stippling the front of the Tisas. While parts shopping and looking for frames, I found a sale on a nighthawk custom 9mm recon frame with stippled front strap for $350 which was perfect. I had a bunch of Nighthawk/EGW/Ed Brown small parts laying around so I built this gun. Only parts I had to order were the thumb safety, MSH/Magwell, and the frame itself. Everything else I had lying around and after fitting everything, I had it cerakoted in E-110 because that’s what NHC puts on some of their guns. I dub it the Duskbird, or perhaps the NightChicken. After going out and shooting for the first time it shoots great, made a 1.5” ten shot group at 10yds. Sorry for text wall lol
Excited to hit the range in the morning for the break in.
Other than the obvious of it being made by Taurus which has a dubious QC record at best. I’m interested in how they shoot compared to an MP5 considering the internals look practically identical. I love how my AP5 shoots, but it’s a bit slow to run in PCC comps when it comes to reloads and other manipulation.
Also using a metal frame from a rock island STK150, has anyone done this combo? I feel like it’ll be fairly flat shooting but I am spoiled with my 2011s. This will be my first foray into the Glock world.
Guy local to me is selling this IAC clone for $500, says it post CB model. Is it worth that? I’m thinking so
After finding out the hammer spring notch likes to break on the new KCs I found a guy who wanted to trade me straight up for this model 65. Great trigger on this gun, plus it actually fits the same speedloaders I have for my 586.
