Hi gang - as the title suggests, a 2015 500E with 50k miles popped up locally for sale with the below description. Do you think it’s worth the gamble?

Fiat 500e electric. I got a 12v battery error during the winter, and after replacing the battery, I still have the same error. The high-voltage battery is in great shape, and I was able to charge it and drive even after the error, but somehow it's still showing, and I am not able to charge and drive it anymore. This car is for someone who knows how to repair electric cars.

Long time EZGO owner with battery carts and recently inherited my first gas cart - a 1997 EZGO TXT.

I’m stuck on what’s going on with the accelerator cable. When you push the gas down, it barely opens the throttle butterfly and doesn’t return back. Checked the throttle linkages and everything moves by hand. Thought it might be a worn cable so I replaced it but no dice.

Any ideas?

First time poster about to lose my mind! My wife and I bought a 4 acre property in NJ that is situated between two ponds that are about 1/4 acre in size. One is on the front of my property, the other is behind our house on the neighbors. Both ponds are stagnant and raise/lower with rainfall.

We have zero mosquitos somehow on the property but when you go outside in the grass, immediate swarms of gnats hit your face. Is this a pond issue? The rest of the property doesn’t have standing water or any moisture issues.

What would the pros do? Help!!

I picked up this Toro Workman from a strawberry farm for $300! It’s been sitting for a couple years after someone took the key and the farmer hired a young kid to put a new ignition in it and completely botched the job. The wiring is a mess!

Seats are shot, wiring needs redone, one tire is flat… but the engine is good!

Do you think this is worth saving? Does anyone have one of these?

Facebook marketplace is such a joke these days with vehicles — any specific other place you would recommend listing my LR2?

Our house has a cedar shake roof that needs to be replaced. We want to go towards a slate look and have been quoted $37k for certainteed grand manor and $65k for Davinci Inspire slate. We will be using duragutter for the gutters and copper downspouts which will add another $15k.

Do you think the additional $28k for Davinci inspire is worth it? We’ve seen a grand manor roof in person and it’s very nice.

2008 Land Rover LR2 — what a nightmare job this has been. Replacing the fuel pump in the tank required dropping it completely and the rear drive shaft. One bolt on each end was impossible to remove and ended up rounding, so I cut them off with a dremel.

How would you suggest I get this broken bolt out with the diff just spinning freely? There’s clearly lots of bolt to work with.

We have a cedar roof on its last legs and will be replacing with certainteed grand manor in stonegate gray. The house currently has no gutters and hasn’t for 25 years (crazy, right?)

Should we go white gutters and keep it simple? Or would copper be a nice choice? We like classic, colonial / traditional.

Started smelling gas inside the vehicle, checked under the rear seat and saw the dreaded cracked plastic housing on top of the fuel filter assembly… I’ve now dropped the tank, installed a new assembly but for the life of me can’t remember / figure out what the piece circled in yellow is for. Does it go somewhere? Or does it just float there?

Picked up this Regency stove off marketplace for a case of beer! How’d I do? Is she worth running in 2026? No blower on this unit.

Hey all - I’ve got a 2008 LR2 and have been smelling fuel inside the cabin. Narrowed it down to the plastic housing on top of the fuel tank which is cracked, requiring the tank to be dropped.

Does anyone know how to disconnect this clip going into the tank? Trying my hardest not to break it but no idea how to disconnect!
