Hi there! I’m a new small business owner and I’m curious to know the best payment methods to use. I’m also planning to open a business bank account. Currently, I’m accepting payments through Venmo and PayPal. Are there any other payment options that don’t charge transaction fees or has low transaction fee? And what bank is best for small business? Thank you

Our store is currently undergoing a remodeling project, and one of my coworkers mentioned that the reason behind the reduction in our working hours is that they are being allocated to those who are involved in the remodeling work. There were also discussions about the yearly profit or some other financial considerations. As a full-time employee, I have been experiencing a significant reduction in my weekly hours. I’ll be lucky if i get a 30+ hrs in a week but no. I’m only getting 15-29 hrs a week. I am a hardworking employee, and I think I’m the only one affected in our department with this issue.

I received an email earlier today saying that I might get reported to the credit bureau if I did not pay the total amount due on my statement for two or more consecutive billing periods. Will I still get reported to the credit bureau if I applied for FRP in AMEX Platinum?

This is what it said in the email :

At American Express, we’re committed to keeping you informed. If we do not receive the total amount due on your statement for two or more consecutive billing periods, your account will be reported as past due to the credit bureaus. This may impact your credit report and score.

So i contacted support and they offered to enroll me on the financial relief program.

So my team lead asked me to come in 2 hrs early tomorrow. My original time is 2-6 pm, meaning I only have 1 15-min break. So since I’ll be working from 12-6 tomorrow, will I be getting a 1-hr break or not? My schedule still hasn’t updated. She said no need to wait for the schedule on the app to change; I just have to go clock in at 12 nn tomorrow.

My team lead asked me if I wanted to come in early tomorrow, and I said I can come in 1 hr early tomorrow, but I’m kinda hesitant to come early lol. Now I’ve decided that I don’t want to come in early. Will I get in trouble if I didn’t come in early tomorrow? My shift starts at 6 a.m. and I’m not sure if I can wake up that early.

I’m getting tired of my husband being selfish, not showing remorse for what he did. He emotionally cheated on me 7 months ago with a co worker that he just met 3 months after we moved to another state. We almost got a divorce with what he did. He only decided to give our marriage a second chance when I talked to that girl and found out she’s not interested in him, and she cut him off.

7 months have passed, and I still don’t see any remorse from him. We talked before that we should focus on our marriage first. But every time he will see me all happy and looking okay, he would do something that will trigger the cheating trauma. I’m not even stopping him from hanging out with his friends, but I still got nothing in return. I can’t even get a sincere apology. He never got out of his way to do something for me or make me feel better after making me feel upset.

He also prioritizes other people than me. He will also be friends with people who are rude and disrespectful to me. Just like the other day, he asked me if he can go to the birthday party of his friend’s daughter, and I said no. Because that friend of his is rude and disrespectful to me. I asked him why he would sit on a table where your spouse is not welcome or disrespected. I even asked him if he values this new friend more than me, and he got mad at me for being upset. I told him that if he’s on his right mind, he didn’t have to ask me because he knows it will be like betrayal for me if he will still be friends with that person.

I don’t want to disregard some of his efforts for trying to be better, i can see he’s really trying but it becomes so tiring to keep understanding him. I’m like, yeah, I’m grateful you informed me or asked for my permission, but can’t you decide on your own? Do you really want to be friends with the person who doesn’t respect your spouse? I’m not even fully healed from the infidelity, and here you are making me feel betrayed again.

So my husband met 3 new friends at work 6 months ago and did something stupid and got too close to one of them to the point where we almost got divorced. This led to one of his 3 new friends not liking me just because I ruined the friendship they’re building. This friend also disrespected me and was rude to me when I tried to talk to him about my husband and one of his friends. I was just trying to get the whole picture, that’s why I want to talk to him about what’s really happening by that time because I feel alone and everyone is on my husband’s side and I’m starting to question myself even if I have evidence of his infidelity.

Now, this friend who doesn’t like me invited him to his daughter’s birthday and asked me if he can go and I said no. We got into a fight and asked him why would you sit on a table where I’m not respected? Also why would you value them than our marriage? I’m not even fully healed on what he did to me.

Edit : he cheated on me with that other friend that he got too close with. I have photos, screenshots and even voice records of him admitting of his infidelity

Sorry for the confusion, the person he cheated with is a woman and the friend who invited him is a different person.

So, I recently spoke to our people lead and inquired about why my part-time friend receives more hours than I do (as a full-time employee). She explained that my friend has been taking up the available shifts that have appeared on the app. This implies that even as a full-time employee, I still have to compete with part-time employees for available shifts. If a part-time employee secures those shifts first, I won’t be able to get more hours. I also recently discovered that you can still contribute to a 401(k) even if you’re working part-time. 😑

Is there really a benefit going full time that I don’t know?

So my co worker friend and I always share our schedule with each other, and since last month (when I started to work full time), we noticed that she’s been getting more hours than me. I talked to my coach, and he said he didn’t know why the system does that. Even other full-timers in our department have the same issue, and he said that he has to talk to our people lead on how to fix it, but until now, he has not given me an update on what will happen. Is this really a thing? I know that coaches can just edit our schedule on their end, right?

My co worker friend also told me that she was offered many shifts and she just accept them.
