For about a month last year,i played mas, and although I enjoyed it, no matter how many submods I got, I just got bored. Maybe it's because I dont ship myself with her? I've always preferred her with the in-game protagonist, but idk, how can yall commit so long?
She is not a hero. She's far from it. She was insane during the events of the game. You'd have to be insane to treat the other 4 like that. She knew they were alive. She just lied to herself and you. Monika, post epiphany is NOT a good or bad person. she's an insane one who needs help (also why I dislike Monika x player)

Things I like
Art - the new sprites are so much better than the old ones, the new chibis are better as well, although the old ones have a certain charm to them. The highlight of the new art, though, is definitely MC getting an actual appearance
Side stories - obviously, this is the main thing with plus, and it's great. Having the characters in a normal setting is what i want most, and this is the closest thing, plus getting more insight on monika is probably the best part
Things I dislike
MES - Why? The original premise of it just being a dating Sim where one of the characters became self awere is so much better than all the sci-fi mes stuff, man, giving tons of lore to a game that doesn't need it never goes wel
Side stories (again) - where is he? Like, actually, where is he? How are you gonna ignore the most important character relationship, that being MC and sayori, in the thing about the characters' relationship? Plus, the side stories are an AU, not a prequel, and I've seen people say, "The side stories are supposed to highlight the girls without any romance." Why does there need to be romance? He can exist without it
The UI - not using the actual game files - takes away from it so much, I get it was done, so it could he on console and phone, but still

Sayori x monika sucks... like it actually sucks. If i could block it from my feed, I would, the amount if restraining I have to do to stop myself from leaving a hate comment is insane, but I always say to let people have fun so I cant be a hypocrite but golly
Mc x monika art is by RORKE, and sayori and monika art is just from the game because I refuse to stain my precious gallery with actual ship art of them

First of all, why does Monika have to be self awere in a mod like this? Plus, all sorces told me she wasn't, so i hot click baited
Second, things were moving WAYYY to fast, I had this problem with normal visual novel aswell, it just feels forced and unrealistic
Third, this is just a nitpick, but MCs dialog has tons of !s. And it makes him sound way more enthusiastic then he should
Seriously though, can we not do this again? Im not sure if OPs trauma dumping, if they are, including hope theyre okay, but golly

MC is a germaphobe and always wears socks (self projection)
Monika is scared of cockroaches (more self projection)
MC completely refuses to call Monika any pet names. she's the complete opposite
Natsuki can do crazy makeup art
Sayori can play guitar
I think MC overall has a bigger role. Outside of her own route, natsuki doesn't really do much

Obviously, Monika was in love with the player, but she still cared about the girls, and seemingly MC too
In act 4, she brings everyone back, but they are, including MC, happier, and their personal problems seem to be fixed

It seems like Monika fixed everyone's issues when she brought them back, which means she also went out of her way to fix MCs, so I think she cared about him at least a little
