This popped up in my feed and it’s crazy cause looking back when I said it people were mad now a year later everything I said in this post was true and dude hasn’t been seen in Main Continuity in over a year and a half going on 2 and Jon’s about to get a new boyfriend.

A comic about Jon, Lizzie, and Damian saving their parents sounds cool. I think that maybe Lex Luthor kidnaps their parents and they have to rescue them. Damian and Lizzie are dating if I remember correctly Jon is gay so no competion for Damian.

I hope DC takes my idea about that comic.

With Tomorrow Man established as>!Jon Kent's new identity!<, do you think this will last, or only as long as Slott is on the title?

The ID itself, I don't mind - it's a perfectly serviceable superhero name - but I think if it does stay, the costume needs an almost complete overhaul. The colour scheme scans as Superfamily, but the logo - while probably meant to evoke the Kryptonian Flamebird and Nightwing - reads more as Batfamily, and the tiger stripes are just a weird bit of distracting, needless detail. The blotchy/shifting gloves don't work either - too inconsistent a detail to work long term or between different artists.

I'm glad to see the October 2026 solicits at least have the full face mask receded to a domino/cowl combo, but it's not enough of an update to make it fully work, IMO. I'd at least add S-shields to the shoulders as a clear visual link.

Interesting now Henshaw is defeated but the future is not without trouble. So does Jon Kent come back to the future but now he is actually Jonathan Lane? I assume when Jon Lane come back to the past to see his parents they will think he's actually Jon Kent and be surprised that he now has a scar on his eye. But then he probably will explain that he's actually not Jon Kent and he's here to stop Luthor (instead of Henshaw from the Jon Kent's timeline) from taking over the world? Or maybe this new John Lane would still have the memory of Kent?

Another detail is that, besides the scar on his left eye, Lane's symbol on his chest in this episode 5 is slightly different than Kent's. You see the part surrounds the S is actually dark instead of yellow like in Kent's (yet in the intro it's yellow and now Lane also has a sword behind him). And it seems like Lane's personality will be a lot more serious and less bubbly then Kent's, at least that's my impression. What do you guys think? And why is he called Lane and not Kent? What do you think happened to Clark in this new timeline?

That's a pity that Midnighter is pulled out of the dust only in yearly Pride special events...

Did you notice how DC is strongly pushing visual characterization of Kon-El and Jon-El, so they can differ the most?
