If you’re in this sub, you probably know about the whole thing around Usman Javed. The guy who played Torsam in Zanjeerein drama. Idk if its all true or just a rumor to spoil his name because I saw just a few posts and didn’t go to the bottom of it. I really don’t care that much about celebrity gossip. Guy is a really good actor. But I am truly disappointed. Mtlb when will this ever stop? I am not really in the favor of ppl prying into the personal and private lives of our celebs but jab aesi baat saamnay aati tou I feel its not as wrong. Every other day there is some male actor or male cricketer getting dragged over the same thing. And kuch ki tou itni serious hoti hy that their wives have filed reports against them in courts.

Honestly, there should be some proper back check of ppl in fields that have to potential to become limelight. Ap aik random teacher ya accountant ya doctor ki job k liay shortlist hotay ho tou wahan bhi the organization does a background check on you. Then why not the entertainment industry? Why do they hire actors who have shady personal lives? Ya an ounce of shadiness in their lives. Aik abusive ya toxic husband hona is a serious thing when the guy is an actor. When the guy gets some level of fame ya plays a character that the audience loves, there are ppl who will want to follow him, know more about him, get inspired by him and yes that includes the toxicity and abusive factor too.

70s 80s 90s k majority parents and society ny boht toxic tarbiyat ki hy mardon ki and we can see the affects of it with every other case nowadays. Gen Z and late millennials do not tolerate any kind of bullshit and even if they do, it’s not for long. And aaj k time mein koi baat chupi nae hy. Its high time for men to stop being a disappointment and learn to treat women in their lives with decency. Wrna look at actors like Feroze Khan, no matter what good character they play, no matter unka drama super hit ho, many ppl will avoid watching those dramas just because they do not want to see faces that are associated with abuse and toxicity.

I wrote this post with immense disappointment in my heart because honestly, Usman Javed has the face and talent to play really strong characters and I really really hope all of it is just rumors and nothing else. Wrna it’ll be a major failure on the industry’s part for not doing proper background checks on the actors they hire to play in such big budget dramas.

So as everyone’s currently drooling over how much of a green flag Abu Bakar is for noticing Zaryaab’s mismatch shoes. It honestly doesn’t make sense. And they clearly showed a scene where when Zaryaab enters the room Abu Bakar intentionally look at her shoes. Aesa bhi nahi hy k he was subtle about it. The man doesn’t even want to marry her. He is just marrying her out of majboori because of his mom. Tou phir aesa banda kiun itni cheezein notice karay ga? Is he some undercover spy? Normal ppl dont pay attention to such things or little details. Chahay kitna bhi green flag banda ho. If one’s heart isn’t fully invested in the other person tou they won‘t notice them in such detail. It just doesn’t make sense to me.

Anyone watching Wonka’s Golden Ticket on Netflix?!! Found it pretty solid! Though I did NOT like the ending bruhhh!! What on Earth was Khayla thinking? She already made a terrible decision by terminating Shawn with her. Whats the point of her asking the players for their motive of winning the $3 million? When that doesn’t affect her decision? I get that she was a logical thinker but even logics have some limit. Shawn literally told her she was playing to earn that money for her mother’s treatment yet she chose Ava who just said meaningless stuff like they’re both strong women bla bla bla. Ava literally got terminated in the most humiliating way in the next round when noone chose her. And Gab was playing just so her mom didn’t work 3 jobs. Meanwhile Taylor wanted to remove debts from so many people’s lives. Not having the means to pay off debt is far bigger and stronger reason than not having to work 3 jobs. Poor Taylor was so headstrong throughout the game and made it to the end. Lets be real, we all saw the boss lady Gab’s mom is and the lifestyle they are able to afford. If they are struggling so much financially, they could easily cut some things out. But Taylor was a simple girl from Montana who did not grow with an abundance of opportunities. She really deserved this win. I know these reality shows are almost always scripted but why would they end the script like thattt with Taylor? 💔

Salam everyone! So I‘m curious about these stories that we hear where ppl find bodies of deceased after many years and they are still very well preserved. There are cases like this all over the world. The ones reported in the West, they usually come with testing and scientific reasoning that the soil was extremely dry or conditions were super cold etc.. But then there are cases in Muslim countries too but they just come with a follow up story that the ppl who recognize that person have said that this person was very pious or that he’d always pray on time etc.. This doesn’t sit right with me. I feel like such stories are very biased towards Islam. Don’t get me wrong, I’m a practicing Muslim and not a perfect one but I do try to study it and ponder over Islam, its teachings and try to pray aswell and maintain good relations with every person I come across. I am just saying this so you, as a reader, don’t think I’m some atheist or hater or someone who has no knowledge. And OH MY GOD!! You know what, the other day my mom shared a story that made my head spin, those ppl who give ghusl to dead bodies reported that they came across a body of a girl whose body would constantly make a certain pose. It was reported by her mom that the girl used to listen music and loved dancing too. So the pose her body kept making was a certain dance step she always did. I could not bring myself to believe this is even a real story. But my mom insisted it was shared by a woman who gave islamic lectures and shared these stories from the institute she herself was studying from. I still feel like such stories are fabricated because the conclusion they give is so biased towards Islam. Based on my observations, everything in Islam is scientifically proved or can be explained using logic. Even the miracles. So such stories are really a big question mark for me. A lot of ppl view them from a spiritual lens and call it a miracle or sign or a reminder from Allah to live a righteous life and also lowkey instill fear in ppl for what state they may die in. It’s not a bad thing to view something from a spiritual lens but there’s a limit to it mayn! It depends on who is viewing it from a spiritual lens. If it’s someone who doesn’t believe in science or doesn’t have knowledge of it then their spiritual lens is quite questionable. Also, about the dead bodies being perfectly preserved years after the death, any person from any religion can view it from a spiritual lens and call it a miracle of their God. So, its not something that is very accurate to believe that its a miracle of Allah that a pious person was blessed with their bodies still intact. Because as far as I know, Allah used to send miracles and punishments for the people before us but after Mohammad (s.a.w) it was the end. Now every punishment and reward is for the Day of Judgement. Regardless, have you guys come across such stories? Or have you experienced this with some deceased?

I am a 25F and want to start working out in my mornings. I am really inspired by everything I have heard about strength training and how its important for ppl of all ages. But idk where to even start... I don't have any equipments and I cannot do pushups either. I have never done any kind of workout or exercise ever. I am very thin and don't have any muscles on my body. Almost like Lily Collins in Emily in Paris (but before her weightloss) My goal is to build muscles and be strong enough to lift weights and be more active throughout the day. I know this cannot be achieved by workout alone and i'll need to manage my diet too. so is there any youtube channel or any fitness expert who can guide? I searched in on youtube myself too but its just filled with soooo much content that you cannot tell who is for real and who is just a wannabe fitness creator. So do you know anyone whom you can vouch for that their exercises and nutritional knowledge is always helpful? I am looking for someone who would guide me in exercise and food both.

Honestly, I was so pissed when Faryal showed up after leaving her husband. It felt faaltu ki additional storyline. But after today's episode.. the september 5 episode.. idk the epi number.. kher, after today's episode I really enjoyed their arc because, as audience, we have NO IDEA unki kia larayi hui hy and Faryal ny kia batamizi ki hy with Shuja and his family. Or that Shuja is still a playboi after marriage or whatever. Ya why Shuja was hiding or locking his phone from his wife. Ya aesa konsa attitude problem hy Faryal ka jo shaadi k baad itna insufferable ho gaya for Shuja and his family. Honestly, they knew each other for 6 years. They knew very well that she has an attitude and he is friends with girls. But after today's episode it is very clear that it was Shuja who was the redflag. It's very easy for our society to blame a girl like Fayal for a marriage that falls apart because girls like Faryal are what our society fears. A girl who is outspoken, loud, confident, knows what she wants, doesn't tolerate any BS,,, Shuja jesay mard can easily call it "attitude problem" and find a safety net aur sara blame larki py aa jata. Meanwhile, he was so confidenly saying that "mein apnay aap ko nahi badlunga" meaning he will stay friends with girls and hide his phone from his wife. That is the biggest red flag. Aik loyal and honest insaan k liay kia mushkil hoti apnay partner k saath fully transparent hona? But that man could not tolerate it and blamed everything on Faryal. I would like to see who actually turns out to be more in the wrong. I am not defending Faryal's attitude problem lekin ye attitude boht valid reason py nikla hy. It's not like Shuja and his family were so loving and caring towards her and yet she was mean to them. So yea... quite interesting...

So I watched Alpha movie today and honestly, I was hooked! I had not seen any trailer or clips of the movie in any way before watching it so I had no idea what I was getting into. Had heard some opinions from ppl online where ppl were mostly making fun of Alia Bhatt. But while watching the movie, the experience was complete opposite. Alia has always been a top notch actor and delivers the best. The storyline and especially the plot-twists were something you'd hold your breath for. And yes even as a Pakistani, I really appreciate the direction and execution of the movie. Growing up, I always saw male leads in action movies. Females were either the innocent victims or the side chicks. But seeing Alia and Sharvari nail their characters and action sequences was a breath of fresh air. moments after i checked the ratings and reviews: I checked the ratings of the movie while typing this and I CANNOT believe its rated 3.4/10 on IMDb. Like what even?? Honestly, I think ppl have some issue with Alia Bhatt. Woman does top notch movies and is such a hardworking actress yet ppl throw so much hate on her and call her movies a disaster before even watching them. I am disappointed in the Indian audience. She's a gem of Bollywood. Honestly, when I put the movie on, I wasn't planning to sit through 2 hours of the movie. I just wanted to watch something while having lunch. But the storyline and direction was so impressively good that I finished watching the movie and even came to reddit to type this all out. You guys didn't do justice to it. I honestly wish Pakistan had made such a movie. We, the Pakistani audience, would've made it a hit.

So a long time back when I was probably 7-8 years old, me and my family went for umrah. It was my first umrah too. I had that whatever dua you make upon the first sight of Kaaba, it gets fulfilled. I had a serious crush on a classmate and I prayed to Allah to make them my partner. Upon my first look at kaaba I made that dua 😭 I know it sounds dumb but I was just a kid man! I had forgotten about it obviously because life moves on. Recently out of nowhere I remembered this and now I’m scared. What if that dua actually gets accepted? I don’t want that person to be my partner anymore. Infact I don’t even know what they are upto because I changed school after that year and I have never even looked them up on social media because I really don’ttttt want any update or info on them. I don’t even know if they are alive or not. But whatever it is I really don’t want that dua to be fulfilled. I don’t have any relationship with anyone. I tried twice but they didn’t work out so it makes my fear even stronger that it’s not working out with other people because of that dua I made. What do I do man? How do I know that that dua was just childish and Allah will not take it very seriously? Is there any authentic reasoning or logic that will give me some peace of mind?

For many years we are watching these dramas that have corrupt politicians either as the villain character or someone related to the main characters. I’m starting to think that it’s less about raising awareness on how dirty politics works and more about normalizing all of it. Take example of Hollywood action movies. They show SO MUCH action in their action movies that it’s very normal for their audiences. They don’t bat an eye on owning guns or weapons. School shooting is a casual every other day thing wahan py. Same goes for Pakistan. Corrupt politics is a normal everyday thing here and everyone lives with it even though they don’t support it. Corruption exists in every sector and at every level. Is making dramas and highlighting it effective in raising awareness against it? NO! its a way of normalizing it all.

I want to contribute some money for Mr. Abdulameer Abdulla Kadhem Abbas's medical equipment and rehabilitation but I can’t figure out how to. In benefitpay app there is Fawateer+ and also the option to send to charity. And in both we get Hamad Town charity society. But then there is option to select if it’s “family sponsorship, orphan sponsorship, charitable campaigns, sadaqat, ramadan donation, treatment” I selected treatment and it asks me to name the bill and enter phone number. I entered my number then proceeded to next page and it asked me the amount. I entered the amount I was gonna contribute but it didn’t show a typing box to write the description as I have to mention that it’s for “Mr. Abdulameer Abdulla Kadhem Abbas's medical equipment and rehabilitation” So I stopped the process because I got confused. Can anyone navigate me through how to do it? Seriously what on Earth is the character of Zaryaab??!! Kon bandi aesi cheap harkatein krti hy? Honestly the whole rich af family environment is just to sugarcoat the fact that her character and attitude is cheap. I don’t know if it’s a badly written character or Dur-e-Fishan’s acting doesn’t match or what is wrong with it but it just looks so bad. She is shown dominating and stubborn and honestly women look good when they know what they want. But she, her character, it makes you hate such women. Or it gives the general public a very bad perception of such women. And today’s episode was nothing different. That scene where the 3 sisters were planning to prepare for dance OH MY GOD!! Did the director ask them to act like how ppl act when they are faking being rich? Like kabhi friends k saath you wanna have fun aur ameer bougie types logon ki tarhan baat krnay ki acting krtay hain, that’s how those 3 were delivering the dialogues. Just horribleeeee!! The other actors are atleast better at acting and so their characters are not so insufferable.

I have a fair complexion overall but my face looks pale. Every time I get ready and put makeup on, I wanna do a low effort makeup like concealer under the eyes, blush, mascara, lipstick. But then I feel k my forehead looks pale and I have to apply concealer or foundation to make it all look even and brighter. I just don’t understand k why it’s like that. I am not stressed, I eat well, I have an active lifestyle poora din chalna phirna rehta hy tou why does my face look so lifeless? Sometimes it looks dark, sometimes pale. Koi noor he nahi raha chehray py. No youthful glow nothing. I am 25, I don’t have any heavy skincare routine either kiunk aik dafa kisi ordinary-something brand k products try kiay thay (I can’t recall the exact name) and it affected my skin so bad k I had to refrain from applying anything for a whole month in order to heal. Uskay baad sy panah maangi from any skincare products. So all I do in the name of skincare is wash my face with cold water in the morning. No soap nothing. Just a rinse. I don’t know if it’s dead cells accumulated on my face that make me look dull and pale or what.
Has anyone faced this and figured out something that worked for them?

I have noticed it over the years that every time I play a card game with my friends or family, I always win. Even if it’s a new game, I win and continue to win it based on pure luck. I have no secret tips or tricks. Just a desire and excitement to win everytime we play. And honestly it makes me sad that the one thing I’m good at is haram 😭😭😭 I could honestly win a lottery or poker etc. But I know that stuff is haram. Even with family or friends we just play lightly we don’t make bets etc. Just a fun game to pass a good time. Why did Allah make me so good at something so haram that I can’t make a living out of it 😭

I used to follow this blogger from somewhere in Europe but recently my toddler nephew was using my phone and unfollowed a bunch of ppl including her and now I can’t find her account. I really wanna follow her account again. I don’t remember her username or what city she lived in but I think it was Paris. She had some amazing reels where she would do a weekly outfit check in the street and used people passing by as transitions. She also had another reel where she made a jewelry that looked like teardrops and minds wanted to give a message that even pain can be inspiration. I used to enjoy seeing her content but never paid attention to her username or anything else. Can someone point out or mention her @ if you recognize who I’m talking about. PLEASEEEE!!
