I'm a one issue voter this election cycle. Does anyone know if the following candidates are for or against more surveillance in Avl? I believe everyone is except Burroughs and not totally sure about Ball but I believe he's evaded the question, so that puts him in the yes category for me. Any ideas?

Republicans on the BOE have decided to allow tossing out your ballot for trivial reasons. Nothing but idiocy is coming out of some people these days.

Carrots, nuts, dried fruits, I always have major issues with them. Most apps say they are low FODMAP but I don't believe it!

My flights have been super f*cked the past 6 months. I'm talking about delays, cancellations, rebooks, etc. All very last minute. The reason is bc Trump has made cuts to FSA employees and they have to follow regulations like certain number of hours worked, etc. to keep us SAFE. My poor neighbor had a 2 day getaway planned with her husband, which has now turned into an overnight (even that flight might be cancelled). The check-in agent said all of this is bc of Trump's cuts.

Vote No for anyone supporting this f*cking clown in November. FDT!!

Been married for 6 years with a 4 year old and we're having major marital issues, I don't know what to do.

Nothing has happened, we've just disagree on so many things. We fight to win, not for a solution. He smokes cigars almost every day of the week and weed almost every night, which I've always had a problem with but now with all of our other issues, it's getting to the point where I can't stand it. With the constant smoking, it feels like he prioritizes his "me" time A LOT. He accuses me of having an anger issue, which I do as I can go from 0-100 pretty quickly but I think he has anger issues as well as he can be extremely mean and charged, which he won't admit. I've said REALLY mean things to him, which I feel bad about. He's also recently been diagnosed for being on the spectrum, which is fine but presents its own set of challenges (social and otherwise) to. There's other issues too - hygiene, activity levels, etc.

I'm also resentful bc I've carried a lot of the load as the breadwinner who does most of the cleaning and upkeep of the house. Not saying he doesn't do anything but it took a lot of negotiations to get him to do some of the work on a consistent basis and we even have a housecleaner so that I don't have to worry about toilets and whatnot.

The worst thing is that we have a kid and fight in front of her often. She knows we fight, it's terrible. It's usually me who can't put it down either as we have zero time to actually resolve things and I feel like it's me constantly trying to talk through things, he just wants to ignore our fights and chalk it up to being tired, overreacting, etc.

We're in couples therapy and have been on and off again for the past 5 years. I have my own individual therapist and he does too.

There's also good in our relationship but really feeling the bad right now. We got back from vacation where things went sideways and I told him that the smoking cigars and pot was too much. He said he would stop all together (he won't) and would only do so if I get ahold of my anger. I feel like he's not trying to work through our challenges in the relationship and how to come together on things. Don't want to separate but I'm afraid it's headed that way seeing as we've been working on this for 6 years and I'm not seeing much improvement.

Not really sure why I'm posting this, mostly bc I don't have a livejournal.

So many issues in our marriage but mostly, it feels like when we fight, it isn't about coming together but rather who wins the argument. It's exhausting and I'm over it.

My amazing 10-year-old tuxedo cat has developed asthma and had a really bad attack about a week and a half ago, I think she almost died, she was put in an oxygen tank for a couple of hours. We had to take her in twice to get her injected with steroids and a breathing treatment. They sent us home with two inhalers and steroids, which she will be on long-term.

Unfortunately she still sounds like s***. She is eating, drinking and pooping okay but still sounds raspy af. She's not displaying any outward signs of distress except for the wheezing. I don't think I need to bring her in as I don't think they'll be able to do anything, but I'm surprised that the asthma is still lingering.

Has anyone had any experience with this? I remember getting hella sick earlier this year and it took about a month to resolve, are cats the same? I'm also concerned that maybe she has something stuck in her lungs? They did take X-rays and didn't see anything except for the asthma.

I only watch Fox at hotels with cable, just to check out what the masses are consuming. In the past 10 minutes, Fox & Friends has:

• Criticized a doctor about gender and how there are only two genders + attack on trans folks. This then spun into how we can't trust doctors if they are making up facts around gender / sex and that we shouldn't follow doctor's medical advice on other areas if they are making up "facts" - alluding to vaccines.
• Interviewed a 17 year old who created an AI recipe website. Spoke about all the amazing benefits of AI and tried to spin on all the positives of AI and that we have nothing to worry about.
• AG Todd Blanche - they are sus af bc he's going to touch upon Epstein.
• DSA platform - criticized DSA's new platform with AI images, which I am sure are incorrect. Doing a deep dive into how DSA doesn't want anyone to work?

I can't believe this is a MORNING show - this is like a complete 180 from Good Morning America, my upper lip is already sweaty, it's so stressful.

I want to liquidate all of my Fundrise assets and have requested this 2x over the past 2 years. Apparently there's an acquisition going on and no way to take out assets until it's complete. Anyone have an update on this??

Whoever is taking care of the cats that live there is a saint. Just walked through this area and the cats are clearly well fed and well taken care of. Some are even friendly - a tuxedo big boi came up to me and starting rubbing his head on my knee. If I didn't already have animals, I would take him home in a heartbeat. Thank you for all you do, especially when animals are clearly dumped here. We see you and appreciate it!!
