Why can't companies respect time?

Permission to rant, please.

I'm sick and tired of companies not following through on the agreed interview schedule. I just got home from a supposed "interview", but all I did was wait and waste time. The interview was scheduled at 2pm, and I walked out at 6pm.

Here's what happened:
I was invited to a f2f interview > HR told me to wait in the waiting area > I waited starting at 2pm > Got called to the office at 6pm! > HR told me to wait inside the office > Waited again > HR told me to wait in the waiting area again > Got annoyed, withdrew my application (nicely), and walked out

I'm not even a staff member yet, but this alone is such a red flag that the company doesn't care about its staff's time. Respect goes both ways. Should I do a company reveal? haha

Is anyone encountering issues with CC launcher?

Hi,

My CC launcher has been stuck on the loading screen every time I try to open the app. This has been going on for days, and I've already tried restarting my PC and uninstalling and reinstalling it thru CC's uninstaller, but nothing seems to be fix the stuck loading screen.

However, CC's web version and my other installed Adobe apps, like Photoshop, seem to be working. Would this mean that the launcher itself has an issue?

Any advice is appreciated. TIYA

Is it really easier to find another job while you're still employed?

Hello, I'm seeking advice. I have decided to resign from my current job, but people, especially older generations, have advised me to secure a new job before leaving.

I'm already following the advice, but I'm finding it a bit more difficult to find a new job while still employed than when I was unemployed. My current company requires a 30-day notice before I stop working for them. I understand they need the notice to find a replacement, but most employers I've interviewed with prefer someone ready to work.

It's a bit upsetting that, because of the notice, opportunities have been turned down. Do I really keep looking while I'm employed, or should I resign first then job hunt?

Any advice is appreciated.

Is it possible to get another job with only 6 months of experience?

Hi, I need work advice. I'm still employed at the company, but ever since the bosses added a role I didn't sign up for and that was unrelated to my degree, on top of the role I did sign up for with no salary compensation, I knew it was time for me to leave. The problem is that this is my first job. I just got a job this year, and I'm almost 6 months into this company. I recently started job hunting again, but I'm finding it a bit more difficult to get responses from employers than when I was unemployed.

It because I need a year of experience? Is it because I'm doing work that isn't aligned with my degree? Is it because I'm still employed?

All advice is appreciated.

How do you handle these?

I'm on my 3rd month being employed as a "fresh grad," so this employment thing is still new to me. I need advice on how to handle these types of situations, because I'm slowly losing my mind at my current company.

  1. How do you handle difficult bosses/co-workers? The type who thinks they're always right.

  2. What do you do if you're starting to work on tasks that are outside of your job description?

  3. Have you been mistreated when you gave an opinion or said 'No' cause you couldn't handle more tasks being given? How did you deal with that?

  4. Does it look bad on your resume to work less than a year in a company?

  5. Toxicity depends on each person, but what would you consider red flags when working for a company?

All advice is welcome. I wanna hear your side.
