jack black should have played clark

think about it. he'd be in his furniture store all like "ri bi bi bi bi bi bi furniture furniture store yeaaaaaooow" and then when the electrician comes he could say like "woah man it just came with the store" and then when he goes in the backrooms he could look at everything all confused and then he would say "it cant be" (slow zoom in) "this must be some kind of" (zoom stops) "backrooms" and then he would air guitar in the backrooms and would say "backroooooooms awa wa wa wa wa weeeehoooooow" and then soy face when he hears the monsters and ger stuck in the little door and fart or something lol don't u guys think. mary could have been played by chris pratt.

i don't exist anyway

being autistic and managing endometriosis as well as a lifetime of being ignored and abused fucking sucks ass. 90% of my struggles are because of an invisible disease that i've had to accept will never be seen as being as debilitating as it is. everyone acts like i'm a bomb thats about to go off when i go non verbal. that's when i need people the most and its when i am at my most isolated. so i will go to bed, wake up, and go to work to be ignored there too. i don't exist anyway.

best budget friendly wet food?

^ cat tax!

my cosmo is 10 months old and when he's an adult i want to get him better food. i've seen untamed and i planned to get that but it's just too expensive right now. so far we've been giving him whiskas mixed with lilys kitchen (pate/the gravy one) and he used to go crazy for it but he seems to just want to eat the whiskas now.

i want recommendations for actual good food (or the best i can reasonably get) that won't be too expensive :) right now we probably spend just under £30 a month on his wet food so i'd like to stay around that mark if possible. bonus points if i can get it from pets at home but i don't mind ordering online.

my cat fell 3 days after being neutered and i'm supposed to be an idiot and an expert all rolled into one

for some context (and also because i dont feel like i have anyone right now and i need to vent) he's my first cat and is 10 months old right now, i got him the vet plan, the insurance, and the best food i can afford. i waited to get him neutered because he has feline herpes and he got sick when i got him so his vaccines were given to him really late. i put his needs before mine every day (all of this to say that i'm trying really hard and my life revolves around him).

letting him on the stairs was a bad decision, but it was based on advice from my vet because he was healing extremely well (based on what she said and my own research), we had passed 3 days with no concerns at all, he was becoming really stressed at being stuck in one room and my friend and housemate who has always had cats was happy with the decision. he got excited about his toy and fell down a few steps. my boyfriend was the one watching him but i went to see what he was excited about and saw him fall.

he was very scared after so i waited til he was loafed to go and check him out. i checked his gums for signs of internal bleeding, felt him all over to check he didn't wince or cry, and checked his surgery site so many times through the night that he got super pissed at me. there were no immediate signs of danger so i said i'll keep him in the living room again and take him to the vets in the morning if i feel i need to. i needed to be calm so i could be there for my cat and not worry about myself. my friend said absolutely nothing except "well cats are really good at hiding pain". i obviously know that, i've done a lot of research, asked many people (including my friend who is in uni to become a vet) for information before i got him and my friend has told me this exact thing many many many many many many times. my cat calmly cleaned himself before sleeping with his belly up like normal. he has been walking, eating and drinking completely fine, he is alert and acting completely normal.

so anyway even though i was confident he was okay i called the vets because they are obviously going to know better than me and after my friends comment i had panic attacks all night. i am autistic and had already used the rest of my energy to calm down the first time. the receptionist said he should have been in one room for 2 weeks rather than the 3-5 days the vet advised (i am pretty sure this is the advice for female cats who have been spayed based on what i found after) and then said "so whats your concern? you must have a concern if youve called us?", i responded "he does seem fine to me i just need to know if he needs to be checked over" she said "okay, why have you called us if you think he's fine?" and then told me i could bring him in or send them some pictures "if i want".

so many people in my life and in general treat me like i'm so incapable yet expect me to know everything. i am so fucking tired of it. i just want to live and be a good owner to my cat.

makeup to suit my features??

hi everyone!! ive been a makeup lover since i was 13 and now i'm 29! my face has changed a lot over the years and now that i've started to show some of the effects of gravity and stress i feel like i have no idea what looks good on me anymore. i want to enhance my natural features but i just don't know how and i'm finding it hard to figure this out! any advice is more than welcome :)

no products on my face in the photo. full disclosure i shave the ends of my eyebrows off because it looks much better on me.

i work 30 hours a week in mental health and i'm doing a part time degree in psychology. the first piece of advice anyone gives me, whether i ask for it or not, which i usually haven't, is to take a break when i need one. i'm autistic, have endometriosis and i'm so deep in burnout i would never leave my bed again if i did this. ideally i need 6 months to lie in a sensory deprivation tank and not have any responsibilities at all, but since that's not an option and i need to eat and have somewhere to live, as well as making sure i don't stay in my dead end job, the job and the degree must stay. i even constantly get told to take breaks at work when i say things like "sorry, i have my headphones on because i need to focus, this is really stressful and i just need to get it out of the way" :)
