Is the game collection pre order shipping good?

Looked at argos to pre order the new plague tale game but after looking it up, argos are apparently quite hit and miss for delivering on release day(or early) or not.

Found the game collection and heard quite good things about games either being on time or even a few days early but alot of what i found was from over a couple years ago. Just wondering if anyone has pre ordered something from there recently, and how the delivery was?

Thanks

Plugging in g29 wheel causes my screens to go black for a second

Basically the title, once its plugged in everything is fine.

Its just when I plug it in the screens on my pc both go black as if input has been disconnected for like a second if that.

Im not using the power adapter that came with the wheel but it matches the exact specs that the logitec one has so it shouldn't be an issue?

How much heat is acceptable for a psu?

With the recent heatwaves in my country ive been keeping an eye on my temps alot more. One thing that I cant accurately measure the heat of is my psu so all I can really do is touch the back case where the switch is.

Ive done this a few times and noticed when playing some more demanding games its quite hot to the touch. Not enough to burn but it is a bit uncomfortable to leave my hand there for too long.

Havent noticed any noises or smells and system seems to run completely fine so im sure its okay?

Last psu was a 750w bequiet bronze rated but my components were alot less power hungry so I never noticed the psu getting too warm or anything.

Zero fan mode is off so they fan should be spinning constantly, the only thing i might need to improve is the gap inbetween the psu intake and my desk which is currently about an inch/2-3cm

My system specs are

Ryzen 7 5800x3d

Rx 9070xt oc

32gb ram

Nzxt c850 watt gold psu

S25+ super fast charging issues

Recently got a 45w charger to use the super fast charging and it does work, but im noticing sometimes when I plug my phone in at low battery (like 20% or less) it sometimes seems like it stops then starts charging when it goes up by 1%

Like I get the little noise and pop up at the bottom of the screen saying its charging when it charges by 1%

Above 20% it seems to stop and just keep going as normal

Is this normal or have I gotten a faulty charger and or cable?

Frequent short journey advice

Basically the as the title is.

Started a new job and the commute is only a 5 min drive

I have a petrol 1L car so it gets up to temp fairly quickly (the wether probably helps this a fair bit currently) and I let it idle for a few mins before I set off in the mornings and when leaving work.

Ive been doing longer drives once every week (30 mins or more at mostly motorway speeds with a little bit if spirited driving aswell)

What else can I do to maximise the longevity of the oil and car in general for said short journeys

9070xt undervolting help

had my 9070 xt for a week now and loving it but just want it to be a bit quieter, ive known about undervolting but dont really know enough to know what im doing properly.

for now ive set a -10 power limit and a -35 voltage offset and also maxed the fans out at ~75% rpm. temps seem fine and its at alot more tolerable volume for my liking.

should i just leave the settings how they are, of is it worth me trying to undervolt it some more??

how do i check over a used motherboard and cpu?

found a really good deal on a used mobo+cpu combo on fb market place, the seller has been really upfront, sending lots of pictures and videos which all look nice and clean with nothing alarming.

theyve said the cpu hasnt been overclocked or anything either

theyve offered for me to test it if i bring along some ram so ill be doing that.

what can i do to make sure its all working? im not sure if they have a drive available for me to boot into windows or antything

Order still saying 'arriving today' at 6:30pm

Will I still get it today or is it gonna be tomorrow? Usually any orders I have would be on 'out for delivery' by now but its still just saying 'arriving today'

swapping out motherboard question

im upgrading basically every part of my pc except the ram, case and storage.

just wondering whats the best way to deal with all the drivers and such?

im going from an nvidia gpu to amd so i know about using DDU to uninstall the nvidia drivers, but do i do that before physically changing out the card or after once ive booted the pc up with the amd card?

and will windows and my other applications and such still work okay if i just swap all my drives onto the new motherboard?

When should I check up after this interview?

Had an interview with a branch manager for a position on the 11th of this month.

Day after the interview the recruitment manager emails me to let me know the interview went well and im very suitable for what theyre after.

In the same email I was told they'd contact me "later in june"

Its been 12 days since the interview and ive heard nothing other than the email letting me know how the interview went, so I was thinking of sending an email to check up, but im not sure if its just best to wait it out and check in after june to give them their full time frame they've told me, or check in now or within the next couple days to let them know im still interested

is the r7 5800x3d worth over double the price of the 5800x?

im upgrading from my r5 5500 to an r7 5800x. i have a feeling im choosing the best performance to cost value by getting the 5800x. but i was just wondering if the 5800x3d is actually worth that price?

on amazon the 5800x is just under £200 while the 5800x3d is £550!

the main games on rotation at the moment forza horizon, beamng, farming sim and a few competitive fps games like overwatch

ill be upgrading my rtx 3060 to the rx 9070xt aswell so also wondering if the 5800x is a good pairing for that gpu

Is this fan setup okay?

Upgrading my cpu and gpu and was going to add more fans while im at it, just wondering if this fan setup would be okay with a tower cooler for the cpu?

Other than the single 120mm rear fan, theyll all be 140mm
