PleX library works on wifi but not via Ethernet...why?
I have a Ubiquiti rack with UNAS. Everything seems to have been working fine. But I cannot access my library when hardwired. Curious to know if anyone can help here?

I've been working on a slide deck for weeks now and all of a sudden chat GPT is no longer able to produce native PowerPoint charts and graphs as it had been until today.
It strikes me as extremely odd and I wonder if I have a hidden usage limit I hit.
I'm curious to know. It's very typical that once a student reaches blue/red, they slowly stop practicing. It's a big milestone for sure, but only the beginning.
I understand the dedication and effort required on the body week after week, and progression now begins to require years. Just interested in getting perspective.
I'm on a mapping binge right now and know there must be some wonderful human who thought it would be great to map out all we have discovered about the natural world, humanity, or other types of movement over time (example: the spread of the black plague or cross-movement of seeds/animals). There are great political historical maps out there like Chronas, and I imagine someone has created something special, both for kids and adults. Thanks in advance!

Curious to know. Since it is an option that is integrated, seems super useful but I haven't yet taken the time to figure it out. I wonder if it is simple to use and integrate.
I have all of my music in mp3 or flac format on my server. I have one mega folder which includes single songs, most of which have correct metadata. In addition to this, I have a folder of albums, some which include a playlist and others that do not. So I might have a single song for an artist in my mega folder, then an albur that includes that same song. Seems as though the music features only work well if all files are properly recorded with metadata.
Hello!
Last month I switched my UNAS-Pro to a static address, which apparently took my UNAS-Pro offline, meaning that despite it running, I could not reach it within Unifi. I had to hard reset it and re-integrate it. I think the issue may have been that I had it as a separate from my UDM via Site Manager.
This time I'm trying it again. The UNAS-Pro is integrated within site manager with my UDM. I intend to give it a static address to prevent future timeouts, and I will give it a local DNS record of //UNAS. I just want to be sure I'm doing this right and could use the input of folks here that know better. Please let me know if there's anything else I should keep in mind. Thanks!
I had an issue with my server and had to replace it, forcing a new scan of my library, which came up with wrong content like shown. I use tmm to arrange my files bar on tvdb but still this happens. I have to go through program by program to fix.
Is there a hidden PleX file that I can save and use as the basis for Metadata if this ever happens again?
Edit: of course I follow naming conventions. Still, plex seems to slip up.
I've had PleX for 5 years. I use tvdb via TMM to follow naming conventions. I don't make up my own episode titles.
For tv, to be clear, I follow Program Name (Year) •season ••program name - season # episode #
Rick and Morty shown is easy
Rick and Morty (2013) Season 1 Rick and Morty S1E1 "Episode name"
I am currently set up with a Ubiquiti UniFi server. I recently reinstalled my unespro and I have been rescanning all of my files, most of which was done via wifi. Today, I had to take my computer offline, came back in and hardwired back into my server. Then I saw this happen. I also connected via Wi-Fi but still this issue came up. How might this happen?
Haven't gone into base yet to check. Just curious to know if rates are decent compared to what you would pay outside. Looking for 5 tickets.
I absolutely do not want to support that Nazi sympathizer.
I absolutely do not want to support that Nazi sympathizing asshole.
Whether it's at the military base or otherwise, I'm just trying to see where I can get them at a reasonable or competitive cost.
Not looking for an annual pass, which Costco sells. Really just 5 tickets for a day. Thank you! Where can I purchase?
Hi, I am a noob trying to make sense of how my hardware is connected via IP address. If you followed my old posts, I built a Ubiquiti system from scratch and learned along the way. But again, I'm new to this, so I may not use the correct terminology or understand exactly how things work. I'm here to understand how it works.
A few months ago we had a power outage, and this caused the \\UNAS-Pro address to no longer work. I had to use another ip "\\192.196..." Currently, I cannot access my files via \\UNAS-Pro, but only with the 192 ip address. And I don't know why. I also don't know why the ip address itself changed, but I'm assuming that happened when my ISP was shut down.
What I'd like to know is how I can ensure via Unifi that I can use \\UNAS-Pro, or make permanent a "\\192.168..." address in case I ever have a power outage again. What is the best practice? Due to my media, I have to add a new folder with PleX whenever the ip resets. Thanks!
Curious to know how you managed.
I'm wondering if there is any native software or way to get annual sun/ shade readings. I need this in order to determine what plants to plant, and where. Thank you!
I have a 224 TB hard drives in raid 1. When I rebooted my eunice, I forgot to set up snapshots. I accidentally deleted a folder with important files in it but stopped writing data immediately.
I used a USB stick to open Ubuntu and ran ufs Explorer raid recovery software. I did a complete analysis of my hard drive and search for lost files. I didn't purchase the software yet so it was running in trial mode. Since all of the files lost their originally formatted names, I can't tell which file is which.
I just didn't have confidence that I wanted to pay for the software without knowing for certain that I could at least identify one of the files as being accessible. What would you do? What advice do you have?
I shut it down to remove a hdd. While shut down I reinstalled the hdd and heard the hdd cycle, but nothing appears to come online. I unplugged the power cord, waited 60 seconds, and nothing. I'm wondering what I can do to bring it back online?
